“Hosted an event in the Rustic Room adjacent to the main restaurant. Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, with passed appetizers and flatbreads. Guests remarked on the good quality of the drinks and food, and the service was friendly, professional, and excellent. Particular kudos to the lead event contact, Barbara, who was patient and thoughtful about organizing everything for a great evening. Would strongly recommend for your event, unless I want to book a repeat event, in which case I have dibs.“

Cash only. Small parking lot. Family owned and operated. The carne asada is delicious! Actually I haven’t had a bad meal here. Take away is available. You won't be disappointed . The food was almost too beautiful to eat and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. One of our guests said it was the best spaghetti he had ever had! The mushroom risotto was perfection. I had the Chilean sea bass and WOW! The salmon was also amazing. The other two guests had roasted chicken and hangar steak… I didn’t get to try them but they looked amazing and everyone cleaned their plate even though we were full lol! We will absolutely be back. “I don’t normally give 5 star ratings but feel this place deserves it. It’s a hidden gem in downtown South San Francisco that serves authentic, unpretentious Salvadoran (and Mexican) food. The pupusas (we had the ones with pork, cheese and beans) were absolutely delicious and inexpensive. They go well with the house coleslaw and the mild chili sauce. The Salvadoran enchiladas (more like tacos) were very good as well. The best part of this restaurant is the staff, who are warm, generous, and kind. They really make you feel this is neighborhood place. We will definitely return to sample more items on the menu.

“The best sushi place in SF…I am a sushi lover. The fish there are so fresh and the Uni are premium. From the sashimi to the Kobe beef, everything is top. Their pricing is also very reasonable. Eric and Phoebe are very nice and provide excellent service.“

“Delicious northern-style Vietnamese dishes are served at this popular restaurant in downtown San Mateo. The pho soup flavor was outstanding, and the beef and noodles were perfectly cooked. Imperial rolls were also perfectly cooked. Now I understand why there’s always a long line. Possibly my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Fast and efficient service, with several parking lots nearby.“

“It was the soft opening, so I understand they were still setting things up. Nice staff, and good service. Had them recommended items, and was not upset. Got the baked cheese appetizer and 12 oysters. Beautiful bar, and Mediterranean feel when sitting inside or outside. Will go back again“
