stupendous piping hot and sizzling. The Butter Masala Dosa arrived with that perfect golden arrogance — crackling crisp outside, soft and yellow masala inside, tasting like someone in the kitchen actually cares. One dunk into the coconut chutney and you know resistance is futile. Pair it with their filter coffee and suddenly “just a snack” turns into a spiritually satisfying meal. 😋☕“

“Thanks to some amazing IG posts we decided to visit Khati Peeti yesterday in Fremont. The restaurant is amazing, while it took a couple minutes to get us checked in and seated at peak lunch time on Sunday, we weren’t sure if the service would be fast.
Happy to review that their service and their food flavors were bang-on.
The Dahi puri, sheel kaba orders came quickly and the plates were cleared equally fast. As if on queue the main course arrived as soon as the starters
We’re finished. The naans and Lula were perfectly cooked and flavored and so was the paneer entree. A dessert order and receipt were fast as well..
on the way out we met both father and son owners duo.

“Fast service… pay once you are done eating. Do not feel like in fast food setting. You pick your seat and order what you want. Awesome filter coffee. They have Dosa happy hour. And quality of food is great. Even the 3 chutney they give you is tasty. Overall one of the best in town.“

“The vibe here is really lively. You can feel the desi atmosphere as soon as you walk into Chandini Chowk. We ordered Samosa Chaat and Pani Puri. The Samosa Chaat was delicious, packed with chutneys and yogurt. The Pani Puri comes with different types of water, and you get eight pieces to choose from flavors like mint, khatta meetha, kala khatta, pineapple, and mango. I really liked the khatta meetha pani the best. The chaat came out quickly, but we had to wait about 20-30 minutes for the pani puri. The best part is that we didn’t have to wait aimlessly, it was well organized with buzzers.“

The place was empty and looking at the seating capacity, it is more of a to go place. The hunt for Hyderabadi haleem brought us to this place. We also got the Mutton Mandi. Both of these dishes were served in plastic containers ready to go. The goat leg shank was tender and juicy but the Mandi rice was lacking flavor. The Haleem was better of the two items. Street Parking is a pain in this area especially in rush hours. Probably will try the Biryanis next time we are here and mostly will do a take out.“

“Found Indian-Nepalese food truck in Oakley called Momo N Curry. Was very excited to try their food. Finding the location was little tricky as we have to take inner road to reach this truck. When I reached there, I was the only one as this is new location (mentioned by person who was taking order) and they have certain location fixed throughout the week.

Ordered Samosa Chat & Veg Chowmain for to-go. They prepared the food per order. Samosa chat was tasty 5/5
Veg Chowmain wasn't that tasty 4/5
Service was good 5/5
It's a food truck so can't rate atmosphere but would say good location.

“One of the good sign of simple but great clean food is look at menu options. A lot for time a place with very limited menu is the one where you would have great food quality in every food you order.

This was the case here. But keep in mind the Flavors here are Karnataka style. So you can't complain about Sambhar being on the sweeter side. Don't walk here expecting spicy food.

I tried Ponnugulu and Podi Masala Dosa and I enjoyed it thoroughly.“

Small menu focusing on kababs and rolls with paratha. The egg mutton roll is one of the best we have ever had. The tea was average - higher sugar than we like - but did the job.

“I had an amazing experience at Curry Pizza House! The food was absolutely delicious, with the perfect blend of Indian spices and classic pizza flavors. The crust was fresh and crispy, and the toppings were generous and full of flavor. Everything we ordered was served hot and tasted incredible.

“Upon entry, I found the associates courteous with their smiles and slight bowing from the waist. A very Asian trait that, on top of the recording of the music of internationally renowned Arjit Singh in the background, added authenticity to the place. The servers were professional yet very warm and friendly. I ordered the flat bread with broccoli and onions, with a request to tone down the spiciness because of a previously bad experience with Indian food in San Diego. The flat bread was served hot with the delicious aroma of the spices wafting from the generous helping of the round bread that filled the entire 12" diameter pan! I was able to see and enjoy the taste of both the broccoli and onions in the flat bread. It was even served with a side of sliced fresh onions in vinegar and soy sauce together with another side of white sauce that tasted like cream of broccoli soup. Everything on the table, including a complimentary mango-with-yogurt drink, was a perfect blend, and I did not have to drench the table napkin nor my shirt with my sweat due to the level of spices tolerated by Indians but excessive to non-Indians. They gave me, a non-Indian, a spicy meal that I relished earlier this evening! Kudos to the entire staff!“
