“Had an amazing lunch at Naga's Kitchen! Ordered the biryani, coriander paneer masala, and masala chaas - and honestly, I'm still thinking about that meal.

The coriander paneer masala was absolutely phenomenal. The flavors were so authentic and rich, it instantly reminded me of the incredible paneer dishes I had in Hyderabad. You can tell they really know what they're doing in the kitchen - the spices were perfectly balanced and the paneer was so tender.

The masala chaas was such a nice touch too. It had that nostalgic, comforting taste that reminded me of the refreshing drinks you get at railway stations during long train journeys. Simple but so satisfying.

The biryani was fragrant and flavorful. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Will definitely be coming back soon - this place is a gem! Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic Indian flavors.“

“Stopped by it as its road sign mentioned Indian coastal food, something I grew up eating, a cuisine that’s built around seafood and vegetables, basically locally available ingredients, and not much meat or pure vegetarian that usually define Indian food. This cuisine from the west coast of India starting from Mumbai through the southern tip of Kerala has regional flavors but they are very similar.

I ate a vada-pav, a popular street food in Mumbai and a Mumbai thali with fried pomfret. The thali basically a full course meal starting from an appetizer through a dessert, all arranged in a steel plate. It was delicious- probably I was just nostalgic as it reminded me of the days in Mumbai as a graduate student.

Definitely a place to check out if you are tired of the normalized Indian that rarely exposes its wide range and regional diversity.“

“Really good place to enjoy Indian pizza, you can even mix two different pizza types in one. Whenever I miss Indian flavors, this is my 99% to go pizza place. Staff is super courteous and respectful. I hv been going here for last 3years now. There is this girl usually works over weekends, very professional and makes mouth watering pizzas.

I am back to update this review specifically for tandoori chicken wings, wow 🤩 the they were good but now mouth watering!! Wings actually gave lot of meat and were very juicy and tender!!! Absolutely loved those. This is coming from a person who grew up vegetarian and hardly eats chicken as adult. Thanks for bringing delicious food to our table. “We had Mylapore Kitchens cater our housewarming lunch, and they truly made the day special. From the start, Hameed sir took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and handled our 50-person order with the same care and attention as a much larger event.
The food was outstanding and felt deeply nostalgic. The rasam on a rainy day was perfect, the tangy tamarind rice and creamy vegetable kootu were highlights, and the spinach dal and okra sambar were comforting and full of flavor. The vadai and unlimited appalam were a hit with both kids and adults. Ending the meal with curd rice, fresh mango pickle, and buttery badusha was just right.
We also appreciated the thoughtful inclusion of lassi options so all our guests, including non-Indian friends, could enjoy the meal comfortably. Serving on bamboo plates with banana leaves added a beautiful, traditional touch.
There’s a saying that a housewarming isn’t complete until guests are fed and satisfied, and Mylapore Kitchens truly delivered that blessing for us. Highly recommend.

The outdoor setup has a fantastic desi vibe, complete with beautifully decorated food trucks, repurposed drums used as dining tables, and a few cozy fire pits that make hanging out here super fun.
They play loud desi music that keeps the energy high and the vibes immaculate. The service is quick, and the food comes out fast.

While all the food we tried was fine, the real highlight was definitely the panipuri, it is delicious, fresh, and a must-try if you visit.

“We came here yesterday and the pizzas were really great. We tried the Achari Gobi and Palak Paneer pizzas on the manager’s recommendation and both were full of flavor and tasted amazing.
We also tried the mango lassi. I’m usually not a fan of mango lassi but theirs was absolutely delicious.

The service was excellent too. Manager and server were friendly and welcoming. They recommended their best-selling items, checked on us a couple of times to make sure everything was good and asked if we needed anything else. That’s the kind of customer service that makes you feel valued.

Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place. Give it a tryyyyyyyy……“

The mutton biryani on weekends is also good, don’t know why have it only on weekends when there is demand? The chicken cutlets were surprisingly good and mutton Haleem is pretty good as well. Didn’t care for the mango lassi or the sweet.

The atmosphere is lacking but getting served in the restaurant in disposable plastic containers truly kills the vibe.“

“Found Indian-Nepalese food truck in Oakley called Momo N Curry. Was very excited to try their food. Finding the location was little tricky as we have to take inner road to reach this truck. When I reached there, I was the only one as this is new location (mentioned by person who was taking order) and they have certain location fixed throughout the week.

Ordered Samosa Chat & Veg Chowmain for to-go. They prepared the food per order. Samosa chat was tasty 5/5

Unlike the more structured menu style at Vatan in NYC, the staff here keeps the food coming quickly with unlimited refills on chaats, sweets, and sides. The seasonal spread was incredible—the oondhiya, poori, and keri no ras (mango pulp) were an absolute treat that we haven’t enjoyed in a long time, and the Gujarati kadhi was also quite good. A very Asian trait that, on top of the recording of the music of internationally renowned Arjit Singh in the background, added authenticity to the place. The servers were professional yet very warm and friendly. I ordered the flat bread with broccoli and onions, with a request to tone down the spiciness because of a previously bad experience with Indian food in San Diego. The flat bread was served hot with the delicious aroma of the spices wafting from the generous helping of the round bread that filled the entire 12" diameter pan! I was able to see and enjoy the taste of both the broccoli and onions in the flat bread. It was even served with a side of sliced fresh onions in vinegar and soy sauce together with another side of white sauce that tasted like cream of broccoli soup. Everything on the table, including a complimentary mango-with-yogurt drink, was a perfect blend, and I did not have to drench the table napkin nor my shirt with my sweat due to the level of spices tolerated by Indians but excessive to non-Indians. They gave me, a non-Indian, a spicy meal that I relished earlier this evening! Kudos to the entire staff!“
