“It was even better than I remember. I had the catfish po boy, chicken & waffles. The French bread, remoulade sauce & generous seasoning of the fish were delicious. I would definitely not consider myself a grits fan but the fried cinnamon sugar grits…so good. I can definitely post photos of empty boxes but other than that ??♀️. “I really enjoyed the Nola vibes in the seating area on the side of the building. I was worried that the cajun seasoning on the tots would be spicy but it wasn't, and they were very good. I also had the chicken sliders without the hot sauce, and they were also good, but I wish they'd had more slaw on them. The Theves sweet tea was soooo good, I wish they sold it in gallon size!“

“Ate dine in at this little hole-in-the-wall joint on a recent visit to LA. Close (street) parking was a miracle, but theres also parking (and bathrooms) across the street at the El Super. Portions for a Boil Bag were generous, one corn, potato, rice and a few broccoli were included. All amenities were provided: table paper, bibs, sanitizer, bucket, gloves, scissors for crab legs. Cajun garlic butter seasoning was delicious, not too spicy for the kids. Speaking of kids, seafood boil keep kids remarkably entertained! This place deserves all the good reviews. Our only (small) complaint is the distance to a bathroom, but it's a small price to pay for a delicious meal.“

“The Boil Daddy never misses! From the moment we walked in, the service was amazing — the staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly sweet and attentive. The food? Chef’s kiss — everything was so flavorful and fresh. The vibe of the place is fun and relaxed, and the prices are super reasonable for how much food you get. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. 5 stars all the way!“

“Honestly love when we get to go here. The food is fantastic. The hospitality is so kind. The whole place is such a vibe and lovely people. We had the friend chicken and the shrimp and grits. We got the gumbo and biscuits to go so we could have them for breakfast the next morning.“

“This is by far one of the best chicken I've had in my life. The Cajun rice is made with love and so tasty! The lovely attentive service from the owner was top notch. Friendly feed at this family favourite. I highly recommend this branch for all your fried chicken, jumbo shrimp and cajun rice cravings. Will be back. Keep up the great hospitality!“

“My husband and I googled a boiling crab originally and this place popped up. We were hesitant but the food looked good and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We called to see if there was any wait time. Since there wasn’t we went. From the moment we stepped in the service was AMAZING and food was DELICIOUS! The gumbo, clam, shrimp, crab, and corn! Absolutely everything was great! So much better than boiling crab! This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I will definitely be coming back.“
