“Glad to find a hidden sushi gem in Hacienda heights. I have been living in HH for 10+ years and we have been lacking authentic quality sushi. Theres a few Japanese restaurants in the area but unfortunately they are pretty westernize in terms of quality and options.

I have visited Sushi land a few times with my wife and the quality of the fish are great for the price and staffs were nice.“

It's my first time here I go to school across the street. I ordered the chicken and beef teriyaki bowl. Wasn't sure if I was gonna need the plate because I wasn't sure how much food came in the bowl but wow! It's a good size bowl and it's full of chicken and beef. It's not just all rice. The price was under $20 for a drink and bowl with avocado add on. I'm very happy with my lunch! It's really fresh and no weird pieces of meat. The teriyaki has a really good flavor, I did add extra sauce to my bowl. It's very tasty. I'll definitely be back.“

“The food is very good and prepared fast. Good portions as well. I think it's the biggest cali roll I've had in a bento box. The popcorn chicken is too spicey for my baby pallet though. And the teriyaki sauce is salty. And the music was awful when i was there. Thats why the 1 point deduction fornatmosphere. “Sushi is delicious here and always fresh - this is our fave spot in Blossom Market Hall! Great quality food, friendly service, and decent prices given the portion sizes and quality.

I’ve tried the Dragon Roll and the Tiger Roll and loved them both. The Tiger Roll has plain cooked shrimp, shrimp tempura, crab and cucumber with a lovely mix of sauces over the top. The Dragon Roll has spicy salmon, shrimp tempura, crab, cucumber and onion also with delectable sauces on top.

The Dragon Roll was the winner for sure - the spicy salmon on top was some of the best I’ve had - not surprised it’s one of their best sellers.

Their rolls are quite large - more than enough for one person per roll and the prices are very decent. Their combos are pretty huge and an excellent bargain. We got my FIL a combo C and a Blossom Roll to go on our last visit - I was impressed by the presentation and he loved them both. Will have to try one next time!

Service was efficient and very welcoming. Order at the counter and they’ll give you a buzzer. The vibe in the market hall is lively and inviting - with lots of seating options and promising dessert choices once you’ve finished your dinner. Sushi Rolland is right inside the main entrance and there’s plenty of free parking on site.“

“It couldve been because I was early, dining in and the broth didn't develop a bitter after taste from over cooking, but it's been awhile since I've had good ramen. The champion ramen had a good mixture of wet and dry flavors. Chashu + seaweed had a subtle fish dry taste vibe which is new. Noodles were chewy and not clumpy mouth feel. Broth and ground pork were rich but not overly. Overall taste + texture was superb and especially warming during the winter. Also the waiter Rick is such a homeboy and service is amazing.

Last time I liked having ramen was when I was running around in an orange jumper. Hope the guys and gals stay in business.“

“Food was amazing! Tried the chefs combo(turns out the chef I had was also the owner) to which every piece of sushi had a good portion of their choice on top. Miso soup was good and tried their double salmon roll special. Very flavorful and good portion on the inside and out. Place inside is small but doesnt feel cramped, servers and chef are hospitable and ambiance is calm. Great for a date or even just to relax. Definitely returning!

“Saw a picture of the Yakisoba Katsu sandwich and I had to have one! It was awesome! The Katsu was crispy and the meat tender. In short it was perfect! (not dry at all!) the yakisoba noodles was a nice addition as it absorbed the tonkatsu sauce and the cole slaw dressing! I also loved the brioche bread! A perfect touch. “Chicken Katsu lunch special is really great value. Spicy katsu sauce is the right amount of spice and flavor, and the salad dressing makes the salad pretty good. Taiyaki was made fresh and tasted great. Wish there was an option to buy less Taiyaki though; 5 is a little too much for even two people.“

“I live near this Japanese style food restaurant but never have tried, today I decided to have for dinner with my family, my wife had the combo #02(combos come with beverage)she got beef and with white rice and x2 piece californa roll, I got combo #01 chicken and white rice with 4 dumplings, and for my 5yr old son we got him chicken no sauce with rice with the option of a mini box size, perfect for a toddler, we all were very pleased with the food quality and taste.
The chicken is very authentic in flavor not like most fast food, highly processed chicken taste and the sauce is made their, so it's very homemade hand crafted taste which I personally love, I have fall in love with the flavor and I am excited to try more of the dishes served here.

“We had a fantastic lunch here today! This place has a cool and relaxing atmosphere, and the guy behind the sushi counter took great care of us. We had some miso soup, seaweed salad, and an assortment of hand rolls. The soup was solid and the seaweed salad was delicious - honestly one of our favorite parts of the meal. The rolls were all very good; the fish was fresh, and each roll highlighted the taste of the fish without overwhelming it with other sauces and flavors. The standout was the sea bream hand roll that they were serving today, which was INCREDIBLE. Next time, I may just order as many of those as possible!“

“There used to be in a Marugame near my college, but it has disappeared and since then, I’ve been yearning for it. Marugame’s noodles are bouncy and the soup rich in fishy flavor. They had this toast with avocado, onions and tomatoes 10 out of 10 I even tried their breakfast udon and the broth was so delicious. I even got into their onigiri and I tried their California their crunch the tuna and the salmon, and they were all so flavorful. “Absolutely delicious! I decided to try this place today and I'm immediately reviewing to get people to support this local gem. I had the tofu vegetable combo plate and it was tasty as hell. The tofu was soft, the veggies had the perfect bite, and the brown sauce was well seasoned. The entire dish was warm and light enough that I almost cleaned my plate despite it being so satisfying. I ordered the Spicy Ramen along with a couple of pieces of nigiri sushi. The Spicy Ramen has a flavorful pork-and-chicken broth that's not too heavy, and the spice level is medium. Ask for more spice if you like the heat. The pork chashu was thin, but very tender and tasty with a bit of melt-in-the-mouth fat still.

I also ordered yellowtail sushi and seared peppered salmon sushi. Both cuts were delicious and prepared well.

The staff was kind and attentive. The dining area is spacious with plenty of tables and is kept clean. Some pleasant-looking decor as well. Parking can be tricky as the plaza has other popular businesses, and the lot can fill up fast. Can't wait to try more of the menu soon.“

The donburi bowl with seared salmon was so good—fresh, satisfying, and beautifully balanced. We also enjoyed the sweet shrimp & tobiko combination, which tasted very fresh and light.

Everything felt small enough to sample more, yet still filling and satisfying. Wanted to tried 9 yubu sushi. Owner said stop tried 4!! Too much food for beautiful ladies to handle LoL 😆 it is true. Honestly, we wanted to try even more items, but our stomachs were already full!

There are so many items on the menu we’re excited to come back for—especially the specialized sushi selections and the Chef’s Combo Rice Bowl. This is definitely a place worth returning to when you want thoughtful food, a calm atmosphere, and friendly service.

Such a lovely spot for a casual meet-up, a quiet lunch, or foodie exploring. Just a recommendation bigger tables for people who want to order more food and for bigger group size. The only suggestion I would appreciate so I can bring more friends over. Next time I’ll try different drinks. I thought mine was a little bit sweet. With mango and matcha tea.

“This place is GREAT! Not OK, not good… GREAT! I’ve been to all the teriyaki spots up and down Whittier Blvd, and you simply aren’t going to get a better deal than this. Very fair prices for very large portions, but which always means very happy customers.

Customer service is excellent, they have a soda fountain with Coke products (and cans for other brands), a few tables inside so good for a quick lunch/dinner or takeout.

This place is an absolute no-brainer for simple, great Japanese food. If you’ve never been, you need to come, and if you have been, you need to come back. Skip the Flame Broiler’s and Panda Expresses and be happy that you came here instead.“

“Came here to try 88 Katsu and I’m already planning my next visit. The inside is super clean with plenty of seating, and I loved that you can order directly from a tablet at your table — so easy and convenient.

I got the Jumbo 88 Katsu and wow… it was HUGE. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and definitely left me stuffed. I also tried the cheese katsu and it was so good — melty, savory, and perfectly fried. Everything comes out on a tray with a full spread of sides like kimchi, curry, soup, and different sauces, which made the meal feel extra satisfying. The rice + curry combo was honestly a highlight for me.

I also ordered the zaru udon, which is a cold udon dish. It was light, refreshing, and really tasty — a nice contrast to the heavier katsu. That said, the jumbo katsu completely stole the show.

Overall, in my opinion, this is the best katsu in OC. Great portions, great quality, and a comfortable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back.“
