“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“Food was better than I expected!! We ordered tuna belly, sooo delicious😋 I was looking forward the Foccacia, it did not disappoint. The bread was so air and light. The pizza was exceptional. Their Italian beer was crisp. I will be definitely returning.“

“The pasta was delicious, but we had to wait 15 minutes to be acknowledged, and when they did take our order, it was for everything and they “ran out of bread we run out all the time” at 7pm on a saturday. Restaurant 101: greet guests quickly, offer them some wine / drinks, even if you’re delayed on taking their order. Also offer more salad options or appetizers and we would’ve easily ordered dessert if it was offered.“

“For Venice this was 5* for me. Attentive staff, good cocktail/wine list, and most marvelous sausage/rabe orecchiette pasta. Loved the meatballs, okay pizza (mostly because all LA pizzas taste the same, soggy in the middle, yeasty fluffy crust and whatever else on the middle), but the pasta...it was a little chewy, a little doughy (all in the best way possible), perfectly saucy, spiced to perfection. The Nebbiolo they source washes down splendidly after all the protein/carb intake. Servers are attentive, knowledgeable, non-intrusive but always around and quick.“

“Got the Giulio sandwich. The small was still pretty big and decent price. The meats were fresh and the bread was soft. The staff was really nice.
The food can take awhile to make given it's so busy during the lunch rush. The market itself is nice for getting many Italian items like olive oil, fresh pasta and tinned fish.
The outdoor seating is nice but also next to a busy street so it can get loud.“

“Our favorite restaurant in LA!
Chef Chris and Sara are both incredible chefs and lovely people. The entire staff is welcoming, efficient and professional. Make sure to get the Baltimore signature if he is on pasta duty!
We’ve had almost everything on the menu, and it leaves us speechless every visit. Our favorites are the chopped salad, tuna crudo, meatballs, vodka sausage pizza, half chicken, and sausage pasta. But you really can’t go wrong!
Love and salt is a must try. Go check it out.“

“Highlights: vodka chicken cutlet (very good); dry red wine was very good (forget which one; happy hour price very solid)
Wouldn't get again: Pepperoni pizza (nothing special); focaccia (decent but came out lukewarm / cools off very quickly); cheesecake (too expensive for the size; wish it was served colder)
Too loud at night, kinda have to yell to talk.
Really cool vibe; love that they're playing actual vinyl records.
Really cool Faema E61 espresso machine (didn't try any drinks from it tho).
Service is very good.“

“I just had the best Bolognese of my life, and it deserves every bit of praise. The depth of flavor, the richness of the sauce, and the perfectly cooked pasta all came together like a little masterpiece on the plate. You can taste the freshness in every bite—nothing heavy or overdone, just true, comforting Italian cooking at its finest.
If you haven’t been to Venice Cucina yet, you’re missing out on some of the most authentic, beautifully prepared Italian food around. Everything feels fresh, handcrafted, and made with real care. I strongly encourage everyone to stop by and try it for themselves. This place is a gem, and their Bolognese alone is worth the visit.“

“I took my husband for Father’s Day brunch/lunch at our favorite Italian restaurant here in the Palisades and as always it did not disappoint. It never does. He loved his steak and eggs, steak was Devine and I loved my chick pea soup. Always have the panne cotta and the cherry gelato and an espresso in their delightful patio and you’ve been to Italy!“

“Went before attending a show at the Orpheum since it was within walking distance. Wasn't sure what to expect, but once inside and has the place got crowded. It was a nice vibe and food was good. Not a big fan of sitting on stools as the limited amount of tables were taken. Highly recommended however as it's far better value than going to some overpriced restaurant in downtown LA. Servers were nice.“

“This is an amazing place...especially if you are a fan of big band music and art deco. There is also a rich history in that it was, at one time, the location of a popular emporium for men's fashion. However, the food is nothing special. They also still charge you an entrance fee even if you have dinner there...which can cost a pretty penny.“

“I had brunch here with friends over the weekend, and the food was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was lovely, and the service was top-notch. 😋✨
I had the waffletella which looked and tasted so good that the guests on the other side of the table had to order same.
My friends had the black bean wrap and potatoes while my third friend had the crispy French toast“

“Future brides looking for a wedding venue in LA -- DO IT!!!
I got married here on May 3rd, 2025, and I truly cannot rave enough about De La Nonna and The Let's Go Disco. We had a 120-person wedding and used both spaces -- De La Nonna for our ceremony and reception, and The Let's Go Disco for the after-party.
From the very beginning, the team was incredibly accommodating to all of our (many) creative requests. My husband is an illustrator and designer, so we created a fully custom escort wall where every guest was drawn by hand with their table number on the back. The team happily stored away and rearranged furniture to give us space between the two venues to make it happen.
In addition to the escort wall, we brought in some rentals like a photobooth, a heart-shaped arch, larger tables and chairs -- not because we needed to (they already had great options), but because we wanted big tables. They accommodated everything with no issues and no hidden charges, truly allowing us to transform the space into exactly what we envisioned.
We also wanted a champagne tower, and they had no problem letting us bring in a vendor -- they even helped serve champagne pre-ceremony so guests had drinks while they waited.
They provided two DJs, both of whom were amazing -- and if you can request DJ Seano, DO IT. He was truly incredible and MC'd our ceremony moments and wedding speeches flawlessly, collaborating with us to make sure the vibes were exactly what we wanted and that our favorite songs were played all night long.
The food was INCREDIBLE and this is another reason we wanted to do it here. Literally every single guest came up to us to tell us how incredible it was - the salads, the pizza, the oysters - everything was PERFECTION.
Our day flowed seamlessly from pre-ceremony champagne service, to ceremony, to cocktail hour with amazing hors d'oeuvres, to our dinner reception (complete with speeches and a family tradition game of bingo), and then into The Let's Go Disco for our first dance, cake cutting, and an unforgettable party.
We were a little nervous about getting married in DTLA, especially for out-of-town guests unfamiliar with the area, but between the Arts District's private security and the two dedicated security guards provided by De La Nonna/The Let's Go Disco, everyone felt completely safe and taken care of and we had zero issues!!!
What truly made this experience exceptional, beyond the food and the chic, beautiful space, was the staff. From planning through the wedding day itself, they were thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything felt special and seamless. As I was walking down the aisle, I made eye contact with one of the staff members -- and she was crying!! That moment says everything.
I truly cannot imagine a better place to get married in Los Angeles. Thank you to everyone -- and especially Jose, Mia, and Patrick -- for making all of our wedding dreams come true.“

“Loved the moodily lit ambience of Via Veneto (although lighting the wall candles they have on both walls would have made it even more stunning!), The food was great - only suggestion is that several dishes were WAY too salty. Other than that we loved Via Veneto and will be back - hopefully so experience their wall candles and less salt in their dishes!“

“Happy New Year Y’all!!🥂✨🤘🏼🥳 As many of you know I’ve been playing piano and singing at Casa Ado in Venice for the last 3.5 years, for a total of 700+ shows. There have been two paintings with me in them, a painted recording of this era of my life! It is unclear what will be happening with the restaurant going forward, as there may be some ownership change. Everyone is sort of holding their breath, and for now, music has not been included in January of 2020. There is talk it could go either way in Feb. 🤷🏻♂️ Thank you all who have come and supported me these past few years on Washington Square and I will keep everyone posted as to what settles out in the next bit of time. For now, I am looking at all the possibilities and have some cool projects lined up on the horizon. Add me as a friend, Stay in touch, and wishing you all the best decade yet! 🥂✨🥳🤘🏼 Love, Mike 🎹🎤❤️“
