“Table chips and salsa are really good. My wife ordered a medium house margarita and I ordered a medium vintage margarita. The vintage is $9.00 more and we both honestly couldn't tell the difference. I will say I was shocked how big the medium margarita is! For appetizer we ordered macho nachos with beef... Yum! For our meal we shared a chimichanga burrito which was also really good. I would definitely recommend this place for great Mexican food. Staff were all very friendly as well.“

“If you're looking for a casual place for tacos & burritos The Super Taco place on highway 111 by Del Taco in Cathedral City is great! Went there for lunch today and ordered a carne asada taco with the works and a chicken hard shell taco. Both filled with tons of delicious meat and fixings. Price was less than $15. Cute place and a great patio in the back that would work well for a group of maybe 40+! I’ll be going back again!“

“I have been to the Sedona location and the Palm Desert location is even far superior. The taste, presentation and service were all exceptional... especially given that they have only been open for three weeks. The Mole Enchilada was the best I have ever had. “First time at El Ranchito PD. Went for a quick lunch and left very satisfied. Ordered a Cali Burrito and a Al Pastor Torta. Both were delicious and the food was a good portion. For a drink I had the best horchata I've had in a while. Highly recommend, thank you for the excellent experience.“

“It's a very nice Mexican restaurant. My waiter was great and the food came out fast. I only have one complaint. I'm from the Midwest, Kansas and our Mexican food is served with ground beef, not shredded meat unless you order fajitas. I guess it's a California thing to use shredded meat instead of ground beef. Next time I google a Mexican food restaurant, I'll check out the menu first to see if they use ground beef!!“

“Chips are made fresh, salsa is fresh as well... I do not care for their version of guacamole. Its more like a creamy/thick avocado sauce. Its good, just not guacamole.

The birria tacos were a home run.

The service was absolutely on point..

FYI, No real appetizer section on the menu, just main dishes...

I wish they had a hot salsa option for those that want heat.

“This restaurant has been around for 60 years. I have been a regular guest for 5 years. The staff is very professional and friendly! If you want a pleasant experience, I will look for you there! The menu is full of great dishes and if you like Margaritas, the ladies will set you up nicely! Located in Old Indio, they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! They have outdoor seating and any restaurant around this long means they are very good!!“

“El Rodeo is a hidden gem on San Pablo in Palm Desert. We had the chilaquiles, verde omelet, tostada carnitas, and enchiladas — all fresh and delicious. The carnitas were especially tender and juicy. “Came here on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was fairly empty but started to fill up around 6. Chips and salsa were good as were the margaritas. The service was a bit slow. I had the Mole Ranchero which was a little watery. Wife had shrimp tacos that were good.“

“This was a delightful find for our family of vegetarians and carnivores alike. Coming for lunch, the variety to choose from was surprising. A lasting impression was The Primo Bowl which had a delicious dressing that wasn't overpowering. The guacamole was a thumbs up from my husband. The beans I ordered came in a tortilla bowl in which squeezing lime on it was a delightful surprise and flavor for my aunt. Be sure to try the corn dip. That was wonderful and unusual to my family. Everything was obviously fresh and created for a unique twist to make Mexican Food exciting again.“

“I have gone to the restaurant and to the stand and I recommend both places. They're friendly and attentive; the restaurant is clean and the staff is welcoming. I've tried their Al Pastor tacos, carne asada and suadero and its a really good flavor. In my opinion their Al Pastor is very authentic; it reminds me of my childhood in Mexico.“
