Love the brisket and tri-tip, and the cornbread is always great! If you want good BBQ in east county this is our favorite!! (Was a little warm inside, even the server was sweating but it was an extremely hot day and better than outside!)“

“Located inside Sycuan Casino, this is such a great spot to sit down, relax, and enjoy a meal. One of the best parts about this place is the beautiful view overlooking the Sycuan pool and surrounding mountains—it really adds to the whole experience.

The menu has something for everyone, including all-day breakfast (which I love) along with a variety of other delicious options. It’s become a go-to spot for my family and me whenever we’re celebrating a birthday or any special occasion.

If you come for dinner, don’t skip the bread—they serve it warm and it’s so good. Some of my favorite dishes here are the calamari, salmon, pasta, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with their breakfast either.

“It was a busy morning and the receptionist alarmed us that service would be slow, I wonder if they could solve that by hiring more personnel. The waitstaff was very professional and nice. The food was good, it was all a very nice athmosphere.“

“This was a lovely restaurant I came to for my friend's birthday. Every guest seemed to like their dish. I ordered a club sandwich (no bacon, no tomatoes) with a side of fries but I was a bit disappointed when they brought it with bacon and tomatoes. They sent it back and corrected the order, and it ended up being pretty good and very filling. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace that has a beautiful view on the pool area.“

“This place gets pretty busy on weekends! The parking lot may be full but you can still park along the street. It’s pretty large so there’s usually seats. I love the borracho fries, so good! Also the pulled pork and the cheeseburger are tasty too. The service is good as well. My one complaint is they run out of their popular items by 2pm, tri tip and hot links get sold out really fast. I know they can only bbq so much but maybe add some more of the popular meats?“

“A dear friend suggested we meet here for lunch on a weekday. It wasn't too crowded so we were able to easily find a large table in the back for our group. Feels like a cabin inside with all the wood.
We ordered the fried green beans and they came with ranch dressing. Those were piping hot,delicious, and hard to resist. Ordered the Alpine protein bowl for my lunch. Everything was fresh but my steak (protein choice recommended by the waitress) was a little tough. Maybe I'll try the chicken or a burger next time.“

The staff are friendly accommodating and very helpful. The cook made me the BEST burrito two days ago (first time I tried the food) and I came back today for same. The burrito was even more excellent. The gentleman who made the food custom for me, was kind and polite and respectful. I will be back once a week for the same. GO eat here. “I live out east nowadays, but I visit my hometown in La Mesa yearly. Came to Curbside for the first time last year, and just now went back again. I wish we had food like this around here when I was growing up!! My gosh, the short rib beef is incredible. Had it on a salad last time, and just now had the short rib taco along with an equally impressive fish taco. I got a few bites of the beef kebab too, and it was just as top-notch! Great seating options with a view of La Mesa Blvd. Good beer list too. And wonderful staff. I wish I had more time to try more of the menu—but I’ll be back every time I’m in San Diego down the line.
