“Really great service and the food is great. You can also order food to pick up which is nice when you don't want to go and do the sit down thing. The atmosphere is beautiful and it's nice we have this place in Jamul. The only downside is side is that the hours seem to be hit or miss which I assume is why they don't have more reviews. A new business needs to have set hours and be open 7 days a week to thrive in a small town.“

“A really good friend of mine told me this place has the best burgers. So you can imagine how excited I was to try them. She was definitely accurate , these cheeseburgers taste ridiculously good .I had a burger with bacon, cheese , avocado, tomato and onion , with a side of fries . I highly recommend having a cheeseburger and fry from this delicious burger joint at the Jamul casino.“

I ordered the Asparagus Scramble (Sunday special). While I really appreciate the mix of fresh veggies, it tasted a bit bland. Adding some spiciness would go a long way towards improvement.Someone in my party ordered the machaca burrito; it was mostly filler potato with a bit of shredded beef.The pancakes and the biscuits are huge. “Best place in La Mesa to go for food, drinks, happy hour, dinner with friends, and games for the family. They just keep making this neighborhood bar better, most recently expanding their space with an arcade. Amazing bar food, probably the best sliders I’ve ever had, my kiddos love all of their appetizers, and the breakfast burrito is a must try. Wonderful friendly staff and great ambiance no matter what time of day. 5 stars!“

“this place is very good. amazing options for vegetarian and in general. the food is amazing and pretty healthy too. the service is impeccable and they are always asking me if i’m doing okay and i just find customer service like that to be superb. and they have craft soda! the kind of soda that doesn’t make you feel fat when you get it and is just the better soda options altogether. definitely on the pricey side with my ordering coming in at 15 dollars every time but for the quality i think it’s worth it.“

“This review is long overdue. Buckboard BBQ catered a team dinner for Granite Hills Football. We hosted 95 people after practice and hands down this was one of the best experiences for the boys. The food was INCREDIBLE. The boys got seconds and thirds of all the options and the serving staff was phenomenal. Bonus Buckboard was generous enough to provide dinner for our boys at a cost we could afford. Thank you for the wonderful food and team dinner. We have frequented the restaurant many times since then and every dinner was amazing. El Cajon has a GEM in Buckboard BBQ.“

She is addicted to their deep-fried burritos (simple but tasty little gut bombs they are) and the peanut butter fudge shake I created for her. (I'm also partial to the banana fudge shake, but all the ice cream goodies here are luscious!) My mother adores their strawberry sundaes and shakes. “Took my wife to The Search Bar for a line dancing class that they hold on Thursdays from 6:30pm-9:30pm. Decided to have dinner before the class. We had the Tri Tip fries and Aquaman burrito. The food was great...the Trip Tip fries could feed two people. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Line dancing was good too. You could tell that the instructor enjoyed what he does and my wife had a great time. We will be back...especially for the line dancing.“

There wasnt much cheese on it, and the cheese tasted like a nacho cheese instead of a mac n cheese, cheese. Didnt like the barbque sauce mixed with rhe nacho cheese sauce, didnt know it would come with barbque. Last restaurant i got pulled pork mac, the pork came and held up flavor on its own. I will ask for it without barbqueue sauce next time.Still give it a 4/5 rating overall. Clean place, unique drink selection, easy to find, not much parking and drive through was closed. This dining room area is relatively smaller in comparison, but the neighborhood restaurant has enough space to accommodate several families and beer buddy groups. There are also common area patio tables within the Santee Trolley Square food court area by the MTS station. Ample parking spaces too.Received a friendly greeting as I walked in. Checked out their chalkboard menu as well as the giant printed wall menu. Noticed some craft beers on tap.Took me a moment to decide on my to-go order because of the menu choices and options. Wifey got a Sand Dune and our Mini-Meez got their cheeseburger kids meals. This time I tried their Korean bbq steak sandwich. This craveable snack is hefty and could be a messy knife-and-fork meal for some to share. The bread held up well against the cheesy melty peppers and onions in the to-go box. Tender steak bites were tasty. For whatever reason my buds tasted more sweet teriyaki flavors over savory bulgogi vibes. Mini-me 2.0 wanted to check out the Bacon Cheese Fries. It's a good portion.
