“This is one of our favorite places to take friends when they come to visit. We took our parents last night, and it was perfect. The patio is the best place (I think) to enjoy a meal and the buzz of La Mesa. We happened to come when they were doing an outdoor street concert. The energy was perfect!
Our favorite thing to order is the La Reina molcajete. It's cheesy deliciousness and we ended up eating our leftovers for days. We tried the La Jefa version last night. Still very good and plenty for two people. I love all the fun cocktails you can order, and the service is exactly what you'd expect for a CRG restaurant - friendly and attentive.
Restrooms are clean, there is plenty of parking behind the restaurant, and the food is wonderful.“

If theres a beeryou wanted to try this is a phenomenal opportunity. Played for about 45 min, 2 ppl cost $27 incl good tip. Sundays are free play all day. I'll be back“

“Stopped in for a late lunch and witnessed the GM, Philip, handle an erratic and aggressive customer with calm and utmost professionalism. He apologized to us for the incident, although clearly he was not responsible for that person's rude behavior. We had delicious sandwiches and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere. We WILL be back!“
“Very fun experience, the concept is awesome! I tried the strawberry matcha chiller and was pleasantly surprised. The manager was super nice and made some recommendations, ended up getting three more drinks! It's exactly what you think, Tacobell making iced coffee but with their twist. I would come back again.“

“Maverick, was an amazing host. Flora, was an amazing Server. Lily, was neither the host or our server but gave the upmost greatest customer service. We went out to another restaurant earlier and we're highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the customer service, presentation and even the taste and temperatures of our food. They say the third time is a charm but today it was saving the best for last! No complaints, beautifully great customer service and satisfying time!! Thank you team for the amazing job! We will be back!“

“T&A Adventures is @ The Hills Local Pub in La Mesa California having THE BEST BURGER of our adventures so far! I mean WOW! Juicy deliciousness! Garlic Parm Burger - Half Pound patty, candied jalapeño bacon, swiss, garlic aioli, arugula, tomato, brioche bun, parmesean crisp - Served w Fries. Absolute 🔥! Our Server "Jordan" was awesome too.“

“I had the pleasure of visiting Cali BBQ while staying in the area. There wasn't a wait to be seated which was nice. My server was very polite, attentive and helpful. When I visit a bbq place for the first time I usually try their brisket. If you can't do great brisket then you should just close up shop. Cali's brisket was easily one of the best briskets I have ever had. Tender with a smoke that was on point. I had the sandwich but if I am ever lucky enough to get back to Spring Valley my plan is to order the plate. I chose Mac &Cheese as a side and it was very nicely done. Such excellent food!! I liked that I could sit and watch one of the TVs if I wanted to but ignoring them was possible too. The vibe was very inviting and comfortable. I look forward to visiting again!“

“Located inside Sycuan Casino, this is such a great spot to sit down, relax, and enjoy a meal. One of the best parts about this place is the beautiful view overlooking the Sycuan pool and surrounding mountains—it really adds to the whole experience.
The menu has something for everyone, including all-day breakfast (which I love) along with a variety of other delicious options. It’s become a go-to spot for my family and me whenever we’re celebrating a birthday or any special occasion.
If you come for dinner, don’t skip the bread—they serve it warm and it’s so good. Some of my favorite dishes here are the calamari, salmon, pasta, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with their breakfast either.
Definitely a place worth checking out if you’re at Sycuan and looking for a great meal with a view.“

“This was a lovely restaurant I came to for my friend's birthday. Every guest seemed to like their dish. I ordered a club sandwich (no bacon, no tomatoes) with a side of fries but I was a bit disappointed when they brought it with bacon and tomatoes. They sent it back and corrected the order, and it ended up being pretty good and very filling. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace that has a beautiful view on the pool area.“

“This place gets pretty busy on weekends! The parking lot may be full but you can still park along the street. It’s pretty large so there’s usually seats. I love the borracho fries, so good! Also the pulled pork and the cheeseburger are tasty too. The service is good as well. My one complaint is they run out of their popular items by 2pm, tri tip and hot links get sold out really fast. I know they can only bbq so much but maybe add some more of the popular meats?“

“I had never been there before. Met a friend who lives in Alpine for lunch. Charming old school interior. The food was delicious. I ordered coleslaw as a side my friend said it like dessert.Best coleslaw ever. Had a chicken Caesar spinach wrap large portion. She got they turkey wrap. We both had 1/2 leftover. Gave my son left overs told him about the coleslaw he said it must be good I didn't get any. Needless to say I will be going back taking my son for the coleslaw I want to try potatoe salad.“

“Ordered off the 55+ senior menu for the first time. Ordered the 2 egg scramble with bacon and toast. We were there very early in the morning so service was quick and attentive and the food came to the table fast, hot and exactly as ordered. The restaurant was neat, clean and our server checked in a few times to if we needed anything. All in all my friend and I left fuii, satisfied and the 55+ menu saved us some cash as well.“

“I live out east nowadays, but I visit my hometown in La Mesa yearly. Came to Curbside for the first time last year, and just now went back again. I wish we had food like this around here when I was growing up!! My gosh, the short rib beef is incredible. Had it on a salad last time, and just now had the short rib taco along with an equally impressive fish taco. I got a few bites of the beef kebab too, and it was just as top-notch! Great seating options with a view of La Mesa Blvd. Good beer list too. And wonderful staff. I wish I had more time to try more of the menu—but I’ll be back every time I’m in San Diego down the line. Wishing the best to Curbside!“

“Had such a great dinner tonight at Mediterraneo in Alpine! We started with a few appetizers and honestly...they were the highlight. The MELENZANE RIPIENE (eggplant stuffed with ricotta, parmesan, and cherry tomatoes) was incredible: rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The calamari fritti was crispy and delicious, and the TONNO ASIATICO (seared ahi tuna with sweet chili glaze, ginger, teriyaki, and wasabi) was a huge hit at the table. We also had to try their house-made mozzarella sticks, don't skip these...the cheese pull alone is worth it For the mains, we had the CAPELLINI ALLA CHECCA and the RIGATONI ALLA NORMA, and both were fantastic. You can really taste the difference, the pasta is imported from Italy, and it shows in the texture and flavor. My husband also ordered the margherita pizza and said it's the best he's ever had, which says a lot! The space itself is big, welcoming, and super versatile. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, plus a large bar with a full menu. We tried a couple drinks from their spring menu: the pistachio espresso martini and the berry margarita both were so fun and tasty. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive, which really made the whole experience even better. Bonus: they have a great family-friendly area with arcade games and a pool table, which makes it perfect whether you're going out as a couple or with a group. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!“

“FYI…description for Philly cheesesteak reflects turkey sandwich on website site so I mistakenly ordered Philly but wanted the turkey. I normally wouldn’t order the Philly but it was yummy. Definitely recommend and look forward to trying the turkey next time.“
