He apologized to us for the incident, although clearly he was not responsible for that person's rude behavior. We had delicious sandwiches and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere. We WILL be back!“

“Haven't been in over a year and came back with the family and it is great to see them doing well! Great feel always and the food never disappoints. Love the brisket and tri-tip, and the cornbread is always great! If you want good BBQ in east county this is our favorite!! (Was a little warm inside, even the server was sweating but it was an extremely hot day and better than outside!)“

“I live out east nowadays, but I visit my hometown in La Mesa yearly. Came to Curbside for the first time last year, and just now went back again. I wish we had food like this around here when I was growing up!! My gosh, the short rib beef is incredible. Had it on a salad last time, and just now had the short rib taco along with an equally impressive fish taco. I got a few bites of the beef kebab too, and it was just as top-notch! Great seating options with a view of La Mesa Blvd. Good beer list too. And wonderful staff. I wish I had more time to try more of the menu—but I’ll be back every time I’m in San Diego down the line. “We go to sycuan pretty often, and have lunch/dinner at ranks nd file and the service is usually mid. They typically take their time and hardly check in, which is understandable they are busy. But today, SHAWN idk if she is new but it’s the first time i’ve seen her She was very attentive even tho she was busy, was so genuine and truly checked in when she could, she never avoided contact to avoid us and it was really refreshing to have someone who cares about their people.
