I am an eater, I devour almost anything in front of me, and this burrito almost took me down, I was very satisfied with not only the size of a burrito but the quality of the meat and ingredients. I tried this place a second time after being impressed the first time, wanting to try their poblano burrito (which quite a few others have posted about). Holy. Wow. This burrito was FIRE. You can add steak or shrimp, but I added BOTH, and I added their chipotle cream sauce. It was massive and so delicious. They did not skimp on either the steak or the shrimp, and the burrito's other contents (cheese-stuffed poblanos, rice, beans, and guac) were really generous. Highly, highly recommend Burrito City if you're in the area.“

“Great Mexican/Filipino fusion restaurant to get delicious burritos fast! Got the bacon wrapped carne asada burrito. The meat was lean, tender and juicy. The bacon was crispy and not greasy at all. It was an excellent burrito! Prices are a little high, but the quality is very high.

Parking: Plenty of parking in the parking lot.

“Authentic Mexican food Mexico City style ?a gem in El Cajón.

We had seen this place but had not had the opportunity to visit it and we liked it a lot. In a few words: Delicious food, good atmosphere, good service and attention; and very affordable prices.

We tried the pambazo, the al pastor tacos, the head and the sope. Everything was very delicious and with a 100% homemade Mexican flavor, but for us the star dish was the sope (they give you a choice of several stews) the dough with which it was prepared was very soft and at the same time crunchy. And the hibiscus water we ordered was very fresh and not as sweet and cloying as other places.

The decoration of the place is authentic Mexican and very colorful. You have to eat outside and inside.

And for us the most important thing was the prices since right now everything is very expensive. We were especially surprised given the quality of the service and food.

It is a place we will definitely return to and recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Mexican food.“

The atmosphere is decent enough, good waiting space for pick up orders, but the dining area could use a little reorganizing. It's kind of difficult getting by seated tables trying to refill a drink or use the restroom. “Been coming here for years! They have the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried quite a few places around the area and they don’t quite hit just like this place does! Make sure you ask for fries instead of hashbrowns. It’s amazing. ?“

“We ate there when it was Marie’s. We always take pennsylvania visitors. They usually come when there’s still snow back East. They love the outside tables. I believe if you gave someone who is unfamiliar with Mexican cuisine this is a good start. I often have them get carnitas if they have had pulled pork and think Mexican food is spicy. The food is excellent. It’s pretty standard Mexican food for the area. The size of the portions are good. You won’t find too much exotic stuff but you won’t be disappointed. The service is top notch and friendly. The usual drinks. Have your visitors try Mexican Coca Cola, or the jaritos. Of course the selection of Mexican and American beers. The owner started working back in the kitchen , learned to cook and wait tables. He and his wife bought the place when the previous owner retired. It is truly the American Dream story.“

“People here have great attitude. Cook is cracking jokes as soon as you walk in. Carne asada fries where amazing and the portion was enough to feed one person and then some. Prices are also affordable. 15$ for carne asada fries is reasonable considering my the portion. Way better than Tapatíos who charged me 20$ for the same. Definitely recommend El Cotixan. Green salsa is mild and red is a little spicier. Great experience overall!“

My husband and daughter shared a Turkey and Ham sandwich and a Supreme Carnitas Quesadilla. They all loved it!

I also love their frijoles and tortillas too!

Their Agua Frescas is wonderful, light but filling! Sandia and Mango are our favorites .

My normal is to have cut up fruit and Limon with Pico de Gallo. I love it!!!

My daughter gave me her cut up fruit too because I plowed through half in zero flat!
