“Overall an amazing and exceptional experience. The food is unique and nothing you can find in any other Mexican restaurant. Quality is superb and the presentation and creativity was inspiring.

But my favorite part was the amazing quality of the service! We felt like we were welcomed into someone's home. Our server was fantastic, but so was every other server we saw. They seemed genuinely happy and proud to be there. They took time to acknowledge everyone, not just their tables. I rubbed my arms a little and immediately had the nicest guy come right over and light the heater.
We are excited to go back to try more things on the menu.“

The meats are so flavorful, the tacos come with a generous amount of guacamole, cilantro, onion, etc. Try them all, carne asada without all the fat like other famous SD taco stands throw at you, pastor, cabeza, carnitas, etc., worth the trip to El Cajon!“

“No joke the best mexican food place by far. I was questioning my choice in buying because i spent $25 for a large pacman fries which is the most ive spent on carne asada fries. But once my order came out i knew it was worth the money. This can feed a family and take days to finish by urself. Also the menu options are amazing and love the filipino additions! Would recommend to everyone.“

The chips & salsa are just right and the Coke from the fountain drink machine is not watered down like some places. I will try to schedule my jobs in El Cajon around lunch time.“

“We grabbed takeout last night for a party of three, and once again it was a great experience. I ordered the grande tostada—my absolute favorite—and it did not disappoint. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Even for takeout, the quality was excellent. The staff was, as always, incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Consistent good food and warm service keep us coming back!“

“Finally found a taco shop that serves delicious burritos and its not super greasy! Loved breakfast burrito, CA burrito, texano burrito. The salsas are also yummyy.
Added beans and guac to my breakfast burrito and it was heavenly! Highly recommend this place and their food.

It's different than other Mexican restaurants where some beans how they are cooked can make me sick. Not here. I go here a lot although there's another famous restaurant to it. “The food was typical Mexican fare rice beans chips etc and is okay. The place is always very crowded and so loud you can’t even hear yourself talk. They also had a guy singing which really added to the noise, with this being a Mexican place the guy was singing Elvis, the Beattles etc which seemed odd. I personally would do away with the music it just didn’t fit in.“

“The service is always the best and friendliest you can find. The food... prepared fresh every time is the extra wait. The atmosphere is decent enough, good waiting space for pick up orders, but the dining area could use a little reorganizing. It's kind of difficult getting by seated tables trying to refill a drink or use the restroom. By the way, they are very friendly and gracious about using their restroom... even if you're not buying anything. I'll go back to this place again and again. Thank you, Albert's.“

They took our order with 10-20 mins to close. Come on, it doesn't get better than that. Carne asada Chips were great, from what I recall. So were the roll tacos. “I had their al Pastor street tacos, and they were excellent. They counter staff were very friendly. I would definitely go back to this restaurant. My sister got the carne asada tacos. She said the al pastor tacos were much better. I had let her try mine.“

“I personally go there for the Pico de Gallo Frutas. So fresh and so good!!!
My husband and daughter shared a Turkey and Ham sandwich and a Supreme Carnitas Quesadilla. They all loved it!

I also love their frijoles and tortillas too!

Their Agua Frescas is wonderful, light but filling! Sandia and Mango are our favorites .

My normal is to have cut up fruit and Limon with Pico de Gallo. I love it!!!

My daughter gave me her cut up fruit too because I plowed through half in zero flat!
