“Fabulous culinary experience. The management and staff are incredibly accommodating , attentive, and friendly. Uni rice, croquettes monsieur, striped bass, NY steak, mac ‘n’ cheese, and chocolate pan perdu were absolutely delightful. C’est manifique!“

“Great atmosphere, definitely a nice date place. The service was great and friendly. I didn’t have a reservation but they were able to give me a seat at the bar. I ordered the onion soup and beef tartare. Supposedly onion soup is their signature dish, but it was really salty, I was a bit disappointed…. Because it was a $20 bowl of soup. The beef tartare was excellent, it would be nice if they offer one extra slice of bread and some more salad leaves. I was happy that they have half bottle of wine that I can order. Wine list is quite nice.“

“Delicious!!!!! All in house, quality ingredients, and no short cuts. The process and pride in the baking shows up in the food. The pasties are high quality, and very tasty. They use whole food ingredients; no extracts or artificial flavors. The staff is amazing, and makes you feel like part of the family. We grabbed a couple pasties, and sat in their lovely (kid and dog friendly) porch. Amazing views!! The owner came out a few minutes after we finished to ask how everything was, which pastry we enjoyed most, and catch up generally. We had a lovely conversation, and really loved our experience. We will be back each week!! We love it. “We came here for my bday 2 years ago and it was one of the best meals Ive eaten in LA. Last night we returned with a couple who are business associates. I have to say I rarely give 5 stars but this was an exceptional meal. We had crispy tuna app, mushroom tempura, broccolini in chili sauce, the special whole fish with a sizzling sauce poured on at the table, flat noodles schewan style with short ribs, the crab fried rice. “I love this place. It's charming, it's delicious and a spot for locals to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee. Parking is hard to find to be honest, at all times of day. I believe it's the locals who live close by that walk here that frequent Figaro. We were lucky enough to find parking on a Tuesday morning most recently. We ordered pasta, a hot chocolate and a coffee. My favorite time of day to eat here is evening. The inside of the bistro is gorgeous, and makes me feel like I'm in Paris. It's old and full of charm. The service is great, and we receive our orders fairly fast. Definitely check this place out, but Uber if you can.“

“I did not have a reservation and the restaurant was really crowded on a Friday night. Yet they gave me space at the bar to enjoy the night as a solo traveller. Had a rose (brut) and some fantastic duck pasta. So so so delicious dinner and you cannot miss the panna cotta, Absolutely loved it as it wanted speed .Enjoyed the music and accompanying wine.Friendly bartenders, waiters and managers. Constantly checking on you making the environment so buzz.“

“The breakfast burritos are HUGE and SUPER tasty! We ordered a bacon burrito and a halal beef burrito. The bacon was smokey and cut thick, the halal beef was seasoned very well! Fluffy potatoes, excellent house sauce, they cook it fresh and it's worth the wait!“

“I stopped here for breakfast before going to Universal Studios Hollywood as it's located so close. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere! This is a cute little French cafe. The decor was very thoughtful with French flags and cozy seats. I wish it was night time as it looked like they have lovely fairy lights for the evenings. The person at the register was friendly and our food was fresh made and probably took about 20 minutes to arrive. I ordered the alpine tartine without bacon and it was DIVINE. I really enjoyed it and the mix of Brie, sour cream, egg, potatoes, and bread. I did add some hot sauce and pepper but it was very good. I appreciate the side salad to balance out the heaviness. I did not have space for their pastries but they looked amazing. I will say the one major downside is that they did not have espresso or specialty drinks when I visited which I found disappointing. I got a canned cold coffee which was okay. I would've loved a latte or cappuccino to pair with my breakfast.“

“My new favorite bakery/cafe in Pasadena. Food and bakery items are delicious. I didn't care for the drink they made me and I mentioned it to them they didn't mind making me a new drink and were so nice about it. I was super nice about it and they really were welcoming of the feedback. I even bought bread and bakery items to good.“

For the main dish, I ordered the burger which was perfectly sized especially for a multi course meal. Lastly, Alex recommended the gelato for dessert. “I've been here a few times over the years always for happy hour. It's a beautiful place with antiques and old photos all over the place. Service is friendly and good. The libations are tasty. This last time got fries and crispy string beans as well. The string beans are really tasty. You don't get a huge amount for $9 but they sure are flavorful. It gets lively here and they have a bit of a dance floor. Personally I feel like they tend to play their music a hair too loud cause I find it hard to hear others when it's loud but maybe I'm just getting cranky and older.“
