“Overall, it was a great experience. The highlight was the scallop appetizer, glazed carrots side dish and the lemon style sorbet dessert. I would not recommend the s'mores dessert as it was gelatinous. The waiter described it as an explosion of flavor, but I did not find that to be the case. The drinks were delicious, especially the seasonal one with blackberry and cinnamon and lemon.  I had the Wagyu skirt steak and was not as blown away as I expected to be. It is a Michelin recommended restaurant so I was hoping for a bit more, yet still enjoyed the experience immensely. “

We also got to do a wine tasting with Hartford Court Wines with the owner on site to talk about the winery. Couldn't have been a better evening. “The Lumberyard located in beautiful downtown Laguna Beach is a great place to have lunch or dinner. There is a new $16 lunch menu and I decided to try the fish tacos. There was a choice between salmon or halibut for the tacos which included shredded cabbage with a pink cream sauce and a side of black bean and corn salad. I chose the halibut for my taco and it was cooked perfectly. It was a generous portion of fish in each of the tacos so it could easily be split with a friend. The service was excellent. Our orders were taken within about five minutes of sitting down and the food came out quickly after we ordered. I would recommend the Lumberyard if you are visiting Laguna Beach. You will need to have reservations during the Art Festivals or when there is a play at the Playhouse.“

“A nice small café with a boutique attached. It felt to me like an original breakfast place with unique menu items.

Your order at the counter where you can also see the daily specials, and then you sit where you want.

The food actually came pretty fast.
The hot chocolate was nice - it wasn’t too thick and didn’t seem over sweet. The foam was actually nice to have!
There is an effort in presentation as you can see from the pictures.
We all liked it. I tried a bit of the swedish pancakes, it is very sweet and heavy as you can expect, but enjoyable!
The Eggs Anna were definitely original with that sauce. It was very interesting. I’m not gonna say it’s the best thing I ever had, but it was good.

It was farmers’ market, but we didn’t struggle to find a place to sit.
For parking, you need to find in the city - but, the place is not far from the main areas, so convenient. You just walk a few blocks.

“Had a wonderful dinner with my family, including 19 month old daughter. The restaurant was super accomodating with the baby and the food was incredible. We had the rotisserie chicken, I always say if the chicken at a restaurant is good then they know what they're doing. The filet was great too, all the sides and even the seared salmon from the kids menu was cooked to perfection. Salmon skin perfectly cooked with a solid crisp and was not overcooked, really easy to overcook salmon. Wine list was fantastic. Pretty extensive between old and new world. We had the Goldeneye Pinot Noir; a favorite...thanks for a great dinner.“

Vegetarian and vegan options - if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions definitely let them know when you're ordering so they can accommodate. One of the included ramen toppings is narutomaki (fish cake) even if you get the vegetarian/vegan broth; so if you tell them what you can/can't have when you order they can relay it to the kitchen :) . The service is great and everyone is friendly and happy to help! It's a busy, cute, place but the bar seating is comfortable and they are quick to get you taken care of.

“Wow. Fantastic. Having been to Thailand two times, traveling from Batong to Bangkok to Chiang Mai, the food at Thai Bros is as authentic as anything thing we have found stateside.
We traveled from Los Angeles to try this.
We had Green Curry, Thai Beef Salad, Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Summer Rolls and Tom Yum. All excellent. The food was made fresh. Nothing had been pre-made. Spicy, crunchy, tangy and a little sweet. Classic Thai spice but not overwhelming.
It's hard to find fresh prepared Asian - this place is it.

“The staff at Harvest went above and beyond especially our server Wiassiam and Adam (not sure what position). Our family went for my wife and I anniversary, we were greeted at our table with a hand written happy anniversary card and complementary desert. The food was great especially the pork chop and crispy octopus. Before leaving Adam came over the table to chat with the family and gave our son a Harvest stuffed animal (Deer with Harvest scarf). Overall great experience. We will be returning for sure.“

Immediately after we sat down Juanita smiling and making sure the table was clean and even pulled chairs over so we can have the room we need. U wanted Don Julio repasado. Only had 1942. Lowkey wish they had other Don options and more tequila options in general, very limited. However ordered Casamigos with soda water and 2 splashes of pineapple juice. Both drinks was made to perfection. Typically my order is pretty straightforward but often get too much soda water or to little pineapple juice. This was just what I needed. Ordered Irishman burger, onion rings, and extra plate. Food came out and Juanita executed with burger and fries split. Food was great, atmosphere had great energy with smiles ,laughter and a live band. Even got graced with Santa. Definitely will be back.“
