- Pho was hot and fresh. Soup base was ok, but it seems to be chicken broth more than beef broth. Still good to me
- they gave a plate of bean sprout/herbs with plastic wrap on top, small portion. I asked for one more and they were happy to give me more
- I like the vermicelli more as the grilled pork was tasty! It came with egg rolls as well

My friend and I visited this Vietnamese restaurant for lunch, located in the Parkview Center Plaza. The plaza has ample parking, and the restaurant offers a cozy ambiance with a decent seating capacity. If you prefer dining outdoors, there’s also plaza seating available. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick and efficient.

We started with the Duo Appetizer, which included a spring roll and a crispy egg roll. Both were good, but the crispy egg roll stood out—it was hot, fresh, and flavorful.

For the main course, we went with the pho noodle soup: the chicken breast sous vide and the special combo, both in large portions. The noodle and meat quantity was generous, but the broth was a bit underwhelming—lacking the depth of flavor I was expecting.

We also tried the tri-color bean drink and the black sea grass jelly drink. The jelly drink was okay, but the tri-color bean drink felt more like a scoopable dessert than a beverage—not my preference.

If you're in the area and craving pho, this place is a convenient option, but it might not blow you away. A solid choice for a quick Vietnamese meal!“

“This place came in clutch for being open on the holidays when most other places in the area were closed. After getting what felt like a child’s meal for dinner at a restaurant in Irvine and then trying to go to a couple other places on the way home for a snack only to discover they had closed early, my partner luckily remembered this place and suggested checking if it were open. Fortunately, it was, and although I ordered in person, the food was ready for takeout within a few minutes. I got the grilled tofu and rice combo, and it was great. Nothing fancy, but it was well-seasoned and tasted like a home-cooked meal, which is exactly what I wanted.“

“Of all the pho places I've tried in OC so far (including Michelin rated places) this is the one I keep coming back to the most. Their broth has the very distinct flavors of traditional Vietnamese spices, some days even overwhelmingly so, but it feels so healthy. Their noodles have a great bouncy chewiness that us Asians love, and it's not powdery feeling or rock hard like some other places can be. They do a great job skimming the fat oils from the broth to a perfect ratio where there's still tons of flavor but light enough that you can drink it forever and not feel gross. The meat and toppings all feel pretty standard but I absolutely love the broth and noodles here. My service experience has always been fast and friendly as well.“

If I lived in Garden Grove, it might be a 3* rating relative to the other pho places that abound in that Little Saigon, but for South County, it is a solid 4* relative to the others around. “We have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant for the past two years. After looking at Yelp, we decided to give them a try. Wow we found a great restaurant with fresh good tasting food. The atmosphere is a little different with the bar area being in the center. But with the awesome service and fantastic food who cares. You have to try it as soon as you can.“

“This place is always busy now. We have learned to plan accordingly and put our name on the wait list before we are super hungry. It sucks to wait outside sometimes, but there is zero waiting room on the inside so its necessary. At least now they have warmers for when it gets cold.

Top it with fresh basil, bean sprouts, hoisin sauce and a little lime squeeze and boom, HEAVEN in a bowl. I also LOVE the lychee smoothie (it’s more like a slush or icee) with boba. The spring rolls are tasty as well. It’s in the Foothill Center near the movie theater, so it’s a staple for us when we go to see a film. Plenty of parking, indoor and heated outdoor seating available, it’s nearly impossible to place an online order for pick up, so I just call in my order if we don’t have time to dine in.“
