“Another happy accident — and one of my favorite kinds of San Francisco stories.

We were originally headed somewhere else on the street, but they were closed between lunch and dinner. After a little wandering, we stumbled into Pacific Catch and immediately felt good about it. The interior is warm and bright, which isn't always a given in SF, and the happy hour menu is genuinely impressive for this city.

Everything we ordered landed. The Brussels sprouts were excellent, and our waiter steered us toward the spicy tuna roll — great call. The Coconut Shrimp and Tuna Poke bowl were so good too. Service was attentive and prompt throughout.

Honestly, this wasn't a place I had on my radar at all, but it completely won me over. Next time I'm bringing friends.“

“Popped in for dinner whilst walking past. Enjoyed a crab roll, a lobster bisque and some fries.

The food was served quickly and was tasty. They also serve draft beer which was nice to go with the food.

I only mark it down a bit of atmosphere as it very much just feels like a fast food restaurant inside. Plastic chairs, plastic tables and plastic cutlery. That said, I’d revisit for the food.“

“The view of the Golden Gate Bridge on the window side is a highlight. Food was okay, portions were a bit small. The waitress is courteous and helpful. When it came to payment we were a bit surprised. At first the tip for everyone totaled about 17 dollars. When we wanted to split the bill between three, she brazenly asked each of us to tip us $9, which ended up being $10 more...“

There's a reason they call it Fisherman's Wharf, and it's not for the t-shirts or car break-ins. CSC is our go-to destination for wholesale seafood purchasing.“

“Of all the fish markets on this street and nearby within Chinatown, this is my go-to place- hands down. For whatever reason, staff at other fish markets are very impatient boarder on rude; however, staff here are very nice and friendly and explains to me all sort of questions about the source of the fish of different types and recommend me how to cook the fish.Overall, Highly recommended.Also, one of the fun part of visiting places like this: you never know what to expect - since what they sell is depending on what the fishermen catch. I see new species for me to try out every other month. So much fun!“

I went for the lobster roll, which was delicious, but stayed extra time for the conversation.

They remained attentive to each guest who came in, but also continued to have engaging convo with me during my visit.

“Happened to come here quickly. I asked the staff if they were still open and they said yes and were very friendly and accommodating! The food was amazing. I got a crab melt and it was soo delicious! Tried one from some place in Monterey and it didn’t even compare to this one. Plus it was very clean. Loved it here and would definitely recommend.“

“Yesterday, my sister and I had the BEST table at the Iconic Spinnaker Seafood Restaurant in Sausalito - the at table at the far corner facing San Francisco! WOW - What a beautiful and clear day, with just a 'hint' of fog over the Golden Gate Bridge to the ocean side. The food was Fabulous - mine was a 'classic' "Crab Louie," with lots and lots of wonderful crab, and Tiramisu for dessert! Our servers were Alex and Francisco ("Francisco:))" who attended to our every need - even politely and notably giving extra time, as I was Determined to enjoy EVERY bite of my more than delicious, Crab Louie!! With a menu that is FULL of Classic Bay Area Seafood offerings, an Iconic setting and ambiance, and Incredible view of San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate Bridge and The City, I would change nothing about my visit! “Absolutely amazing clam chowder and even better service! We stopped by on Pier 39 and had one of the best bowls of clam chowder we’ve ever had homemade dough freshly made every morning! Rich, creamy, flavorful, and perfect in the bread bowl. What really made the experience stand out was Mat. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel genuinely appreciated as customers. It’s rare to come across service that friendly and authentic. If you’re visiting Pier 39, this spot is definitely worth stopping for. We’ll absolutely be back!“

“After wandering at Pier 39 we got hungry and decided to try this place. We ordered fish n chips, crab cakes. Both are delicious and fresh. Counter service, with occasional visits from the pigeons. We were sitting the stools and they walked right under us, which made it fun experience. The turtle sourdough bread is from the Boudin bakery next door.“

“I've visited Corte Madera (Marin County) California a number of times, staying near Pacific Catch, but haven't tried it until now. I wish I had tried it sooner - it's great. The food was delicious and choices were plentiful. The service was good and the prices are very reasonable. I plan many more visits.“
