“5 stars for the delicious and high quality sushi. plus i have a gluten allergy and the chef/ server was super considerate and knew exactly what needed to be modified. my favorites were the bluefin tuna nigiri and the yellowtail hand roll (with soy paper), and i don’t typically like yellowtail.

however, i did not realize there was a 16% service fee included in the bill. it says so on the menu so that’s my oversight but at kazu nori, for example, the server tells you not to tip because of the service fee. so on the little screen i tipped 20% on top of the 16% service fee and tax. it’s my bad for not paying closer attention but they don’t verbally tell you either.“

The food was flavorful. My friend ordered the namesake quesadillas, and I ordered the jackfruit tacos with mango salsa. Double the flavor - we shared our meals. Yum! The portions were large, filling, and pleased my soul. What I thought to be a side of mashed sweet potatoes was warm, smooth mashed beans. Tacos and quesadillas on point. Purple wild rice was a delightful surprise. Diversity in texture, flavor, colors, and quality ingredients. No better way to catch up with a friend than eating outdoors at Beyond Vegan!“

“PlanTita’s is one of my very favorite restaurants. It’s family-run and inviting with absolutely authentic Mexican flavors. Highlights are the incredible elote “ribs” with an addictively creamy sauce, their aguachile with mock shrimp, and their loaded fries. “I called in advance to ask questions about the resturant and food choice. The person on the phone was extremely helpful. When I got there the same person who I spoke to on the phone greeted me with a warm friendly greeting and smile. My Togo order was ready within 5 minutes.“
