“I have been eating this chicken since I was a little girl. I moved to south LA and I still drive all the way to Lennox just for this chicken, price is good and food is delicious, the chicken has an amazing taste to it unlike any other! I highly recommend!

Parking: You can find street parking or go into the little shop next door and park there since you won’t be long anyway if you’re only taking out“

“La Ventanita is the most awesome "Hole in the Wall" restaurant I have ever been to -- and it's literally a hole-in-the-wall; there is no sit-down dining, inside or outside, only a window where you place your order. But the food is excellent! Their tortas are my favorites. Every time I go to LAX, I make it a point to stop at La Ventanita (which means tiny window in Spanish) and order something to go. And their prices are more than fair, so try it out and find out if you will enjoy it as much as I do.“

“Didn't fail to meet our expectations. We had a table of 4 and we were good to go in just about 30 minutes. The noodles and meat were so good and the staff were very attentive. Our server, Evelyn refilled water and broth as well as bringing us our food. As a fellow food enjoyer I would definitely have to put this hotpot place up there it was so good. “Such a chill and cool laid-back ambience. I like that we can see into the kitchen. The food was delicious being that I'm a full vegan and my husband is a vegetarian. This really made the night for us. He had cocktails that were tasty and elevated. I had a Non-alcoholic spritz, which was so good and holiday spiced. The vegan pizza was herby and delicious. And the meat burger my husband said was out of this world he finished it.“

“Wow! Went here for the first time this morning and I was not disappointed! The bagels themselves are delicious. Crisp on the outside, soft in the inside. I got the whitefish salad bagel (closed) and it was so delicious and packed!!! It’s definitely worth the price that’s for sure. Fair pricing overall. “This was a delightful, casual dining experience. The space is adequate, but I imagine it's packed during busy hours. Early brunch is a great idea. The service was friendly, the vibes were immaculate, and brunch was actually so much more than I expected!!! I read the reviews, but nothing prepared me for how delicious everything was!! Do whatever it takes to get those special pancakes. And if you like bread pudding, you'll LOVE their bread pudding bites!!“

We had a reservation for 745pm they did not seat us until 817pm. They asked if we wanted to get a glass of wine while we wait which sounded liked they would comp it but they didn’t.
Our waiter checked in once, wasn’t super engaging, and was talking at the front of the restaurant with other staff for most of the time.

Food was really good which is why I gave it 4 stars vs 3. Particularly enjoyed the snapper. We also had the oxtail dumplings, crab cake and the strawberry dessert, all were very enjoyable“

“The food has a great taste and I can tell the recipe of the broth is thoughtfully designed and flavored. The service was fine but the restaurant felt too crowded and loud. While I understand it’s a ramen spot, their décor and presentation are more refined than most, so the hectic atmosphere detracted slightly from the overall experience.“

“We’re very happy to find a halal restaurant near where we’re staying. This was our first time trying Somalian food. The food taste was delicious and interesting and the portion was generous, easily shareable between two persons. Our dish had lots of beef and very flavorful rice.

“I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! “The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.“

Loved the meatballs, okay pizza (mostly because all LA pizzas taste the same, soggy in the middle, yeasty fluffy crust and whatever else on the middle), but the pasta...it was a little chewy, a little doughy (all in the best way possible), perfectly saucy, spiced to perfection. The Nebbiolo they source washes down splendidly after all the protein/carb intake. Servers are attentive, knowledgeable, non-intrusive but always around and quick.“
