“Visited this Starbucks on July 31, 2026, around 3:00 PM, and I just had to leave a review. The afternoon shift here is absolutely phenomenal. It felt less like a simple coffee run and more like a perfectly timed pause in the day. The baristas are truly intuitive—they understood exactly what I needed (and what I didn't!) and crafted everything to absolute perfection. Everything was executed at the highest level with such grace and professionalism. A huge thank you to this amazing crew for turning an ordinary afternoon into something wonderful! 🌟“

“Best Starbucks in LA. Opens early, spotlessly clean, never a line, plenty of seating, spacious inside, shaded patio seating outside, lots of people hanging out & socializing & working & reading, walking distance to Griffith Park, and always cheerful and smiling friendly staff.“

“The coffee and service were good, and the location itself was clean and organized. However, the area around this Starbucks did not always feel comfortable or safe during our visit because there were often homeless people nearby. It made the experience less enjoyable, especially when visiting with family. Overall, the staff did a good job, but I hope the surroundings become more comfortable for visitors.“

“Got a protein iced matcha and it tasted perfect , then I called to see if I left my sweater … I didn’t leave it there but I was able to find it because Morgan , I believe , answered the phone and was very helpful. “I love this Starbucks location because it feels like a neighborhood coffee shop. I’ve been using mobile order lately because it’s faster and convenient, but it made me realize how much I actually miss the human connection that comes with walking in and interacting with the baristas.
The people working here are great. Eliot’s high energy brightens the place, he greets me by name every time. And I love Anna’s festive fashion style! She also knows my usual orders and is great at recommending new seasonal drinks or food to try. My Starbucks runs are usually my little mental break during the day, and the human interaction I get here recharges my energy even more than the coffee.“

“This is a really nice starbucks. I was on the road for two and a half hours and got to LAX early so I stopped off for one of their refreshers. Nice atmosphere, excellent service, not too far from morale so I was actually able to get a little grocery shopping done before picking up family“

“Rating this location for its service – have ordered here about 10 times this year and interactions with staff have always been very positive, helpful, sweet and friendly. Also feels like the staff working the front makes a point to each acknowledge the customers. I also appreciate sometimes seeing them have team meetings out in the courtyard - nice to see them putting a lot of care into the Starbucks experience.

“Very friendly employees not horribly crowded at 530 to 7am but you do have to put up with a completely unjustified security company in parking lot that will not let you enter parking lot until EXACTLY the second he feels like it which hurts the business by making customers park way down a hill walk up parking lot in dark on a hill then get your coffee for no reason“

“Nice Starbucks, visited twice on vacation, good service, asking for tips of course, which is the norm these days to provide me with my drink. Bought five sandwiches, similar to DD food, similar price, a small step up. I concur with the tip request, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It's uncomfortable at best. All of you people reading agree with me. When you are not in the mood you say no, but most people probably concur like I did. The burger guy at MCD's deserves a tip just the same, no? moreso I say“

Today, I had the pleasure of being helped by Becca, and she truly went above and beyond making sure I had a great matcha latte to my liking. “Cute Starbucks near the train station on 7th and Flower, I think? I don’t take the train, but that’s probably why it gets so crowded. Service can be slow when it’s busy, which can be a bit frustrating since most folks are just passing through. I usually grab a sando here after my workout at La Fitness. Overall, a nice spot, but the service can be a bit sluggish.“

“Best Starbucks in LA because of the TEAM. Nes & Barabara are the best Starbucks employees in the world. Been coming here 2 years and it’s CONSISTENT. They genuinely always make me feel like part of the LA community.

They make the drinks exactly right and super fast with just the best service. They often have stuff even if it says it’s out in the app so make sure to ask anyways!

There’s never a line and they work so fast!

I always illegitimately Park with my blinkers on the left side of the road on 8th st (don’t park on the right side of 8th st or the bus will auto-ticket you).

“I went to Starbucks on 6th and Grand.My friend and I had our coffees both as just simple medium roast but they put them both into ceramic mugs which in my opinion made a simple cup of coffee a lot more nice.We were told that that way,we could have refills.Small round tables inside the store and nice old fashioned music from the twenties made getting two simple cups of coffee a more enjoyable experience.Later in the afternoon,we both returned to that same Starbucks for more coffee and an enjoyable atmosphere with which to enjoy them.I look forward to going to this Starbucks because in my opinion,it is a nice place to go to gather and meet up with someone to have a cup of coffee or some coffee cakes.“

“I love the hot lattes, even when I'm conscious about the Proposition 65 sign on every Starbucks in California. The blueberry scones and the pastries in general are delicious. This one is inside a market, so don't expect chairs or a good place to relax.“

“So first, allow me to say that I don't drink the foo foo concoctions, just coffee, latte, or a flat white, so I'm not reviewing them. The coffee at all Starbucks locations is consistently mediocre; not great, not awful. The latte is good, the flat white, my favorite, is terrific, and the customer service is consistently excellent. The train station is right across the street, so it's super convenient when I'm on the go. Not much in the way of ambiance; they've removed all of the seating so it's just grab and go. Starbucks is where I go for a caffeine fix, but if I have time, there are a few other options a bit further away that I prefer, where I can sit and relax with a really good cup of joe, latte, or for an extra special treat, the flat white.“

“I just started patronizing this store. Almost everything has been perfect. I avoid being here around 3 o’clock to avoid the crush of school children that come in., show no respect and are extremely loud. I usually sit at a Disability table if it’s available which I was recently, and some young girls came up and began to occupy the table to my left. One girl came up and stood between the tables which is not intended to be a standing area otherwise why did they bother to provide tables and seating? Anyway, what’s happening is the girls all caught up in giggling and laughing with her friends that were seated around the table and her posterior she leaned that onto my table and then she bent backwards to lean even more propping herself up with her elbow, and she didn’t realize it, but she was starting to drag my laptop off of the table because her rear end was popped onto the table and onto my charge cable that was there. Brought this to her attention, but she basically froze and not only that she made mocking facial expressions in the direction of her friends at that adjacent table like she thought it was hilarious that I was disturbed that she was about to pull my laptop onto the floor and possibly damage it. I didn’t try to summon staff because I didn’t wanna leave my laptop at risk for her, pulling it off the table and damaging it. So as I noticed that she’s mocking and rolling her eyes and would not give me any attention or acknowledge what I requested of her. I then decided that I needed to elevate my voice for some emphasis, and I did not shout, but my voice can be quite loud and it carries because I worked I used to work a career in a loud environment, but since she wasn’t responding at all, I simply said to her MOVE! That got the attention of the staff that they didn’t bother to come over to see what was up. I explained to the manager that finally came over and since he wasn’t able to control what was going on, I was forced to have to move from the disabled table and do you know my disability? I need to be able to stretch my legs out and this Disability table for me the best opportunity for that because otherwise I can start to experience pain, which I was trying to avoid. So I moved to the far corner of the restaurant and I was texting someone about the incident and then after I was all done back in the corner I came back to the counter and I asked to speak to the manager and I didn’t get the same gentleman that initially responded. I got someone else he was this person actually the store Manager, and he let me know that they have a code of conduct posted on the door and shouting it’s not allowed( even though the school kids can shout to the top of their lungs and no one calls them out for it). He also told me that they were going to create an incident report on what I had done. I guess I could chalk this up to inexperienced managers that don’t know how to think critically. So I avoid coming to the restaurant from around 3 o’clock when the school kids start to arrive.

Another reason, I decided to post this review as I wanted to mention that all of the staff have been extremely good and in particular I’d like to mention the assistant manager, Richard as really being exceptional towards the customer. Thank you, Richard, you always make me feel welcome welcome and valued as a customer.“

“I'm so glad I decided to retry my morning routine here at Starbucks Coffee Company, coffee_shop in Los Angeles. The barista got my drink order right on the first try after I had a bad experience earlier this week. Their Caramel Macchiato is still one of my favorites - it's rich and smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. “Standard Starbucks. Super hot good coffee. No complaints but as always pricey when in hotels. Hotel location was nice and convenient though.

Parking: Location is only good if you stay in the hotel. Parking is expensive and does not make sense if not staying at the Marriott“

“In 2019 I moved back to West LA to care for both of my aging elderly parents since there is health issues this particular location becsme my favorite to go Starbucks ! A lot of the employees also got to know my mother and loved and adored her and I know the day that she passed away that they were very emotional but also very supportive everyone treated my mother and I was such kindness compassion and love thank you all for all that you have done we miss you also very much I know I don't come in as often now that I have moved back to the San Fernando valley“

“I stopped by this Starbucks location on Wednesday afternoon and had a great experience. The barista got my order right on the first try, which is not always easy for me when I'm trying something new. They also kept my drink warm for about 20 minutes, even though I was out in the cold taking a few photos around the block before coming back to grab it.
