“Best Starbucks in LA. Opens early, spotlessly clean, never a line, plenty of seating, spacious inside, shaded patio seating outside, lots of people hanging out & socializing & working & reading, walking distance to Griffith Park, and always cheerful and smiling friendly staff.“
“The Staff has to put up with the occasional homeless person wandering in and yelling which I was there to experience. The staff handled themselves very well and apparently deals with this often. I believe the manager at the time was a young woman and was quite brave imo. So more power to you!“
“The coffee and service were good, and the location itself was clean and organized. However, the area around this Starbucks did not always feel comfortable or safe during our visit because there were often homeless people nearby. It made the experience less enjoyable, especially when visiting with family. Overall, the staff did a good job, but I hope the surroundings become more comfortable for visitors.“
“I had such a heartwarming experience at this Starbucks! One of the staff members went above and beyond — not only was the service friendly and attentive, but when he noticed I was cold, he even offered me his own jacket to wear while I waited outside. It’s rare to come across that kind of kindness these days. Truly made my day. Thank you for the great coffee and even better humanity.Best service ever!“
“I love this Starbucks location because it feels like a neighborhood coffee shop. I’ve been using mobile order lately because it’s faster and convenient, but it made me realize how much I actually miss the human connection that comes with walking in and interacting with the baristas.
The people working here are great. Eliot’s high energy brightens the place, he greets me by name every time. And I love Anna’s festive fashion style! She also knows my usual orders and is great at recommending new seasonal drinks or food to try. My Starbucks runs are usually my little mental break during the day, and the human interaction I get here recharges my energy even more than the coffee.“
“This is probably one of the few Starbucks left with a comfortable tables and chairs for hanging out. I'm here right now, and the staff are maybe the most friendly and accomodating I've ever seen. There is an incredibly welcome atmosphere here, and that is due to the staff setting the tone.“
“I recently visited this Starbucks, and I absolutely love this location. The atmosphere felt welcoming, and it was a great spot to stop by while on the go.
What really stood out to me was the exceptional service. Ashley, one of the baristas, was incredibly kind and professional. She had such a calm, positive energy and made the whole experience feel smooth and pleasant. It’s always refreshing to be helped by someone who genuinely cares about customer service.
Overall, this location made a great impression on me, and I’ll definitely be coming back!“
“Rating this location for its service – have ordered here about 10 times this year and interactions with staff have always been very positive, helpful, sweet and friendly. Also feels like the staff working the front makes a point to each acknowledge the customers. I also appreciate sometimes seeing them have team meetings out in the courtyard - nice to see them putting a lot of care into the Starbucks experience.
Also the grilled cheese is surprisingly incredible.“
“So I was trying to purchase a caramel macchiato and this is why I hate androids with a passion, it was giving me difficulty on Google pay, but besides that, two wonderful ladies were trying to help me with it and unexpectedly they served me on what I ordered. May God bless you with more abundance, prosperity and full of blessings. And to this location, the whole team are awesome. ¡¡¡ Jonathan is the man !!! And the whole team keep up the good work and being awesome .“
“First of all, when did Starbucks stop adding an extra charge to oat milk? I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t have to pay an extra dollar for milk!
The team who was working today greeted me with a smile, Was attentive, and warm. They also had a worker who is wearing a hat who stood in front of the counter, handing out everyone’s order, which I thought was more personal. I will for sure be returning to this location“
“This is a really nice starbucks. I was on the road for two and a half hours and got to LAX early so I stopped off for one of their refreshers. Nice atmosphere, excellent service, not too far from morale so I was actually able to get a little grocery shopping done before picking up family“
“My wife wanted to stop by this Starbucks in LA Live plaza when we were visiting the Grammys Museum. We came in the morning so the store wasn't busy. My wife got herself the iced chai latte and I got the mango dragonfruit. We asked for light ice for both of our drinks.
To use the bathroom here, you'll need a code. It's not that spacious inside so it's meant for you to just get your drinks here. They didn't take long to make our drinks and put light ice like we asked. Our drinks tasted great.“
“Starbucks is always a solid choice when I need a good coffee or a quick snack. The atmosphere is cozy and familiar, making it a nice spot to work, relax, or meet up with friends. I love that the menu keeps evolving with new seasonal drinks—like the recent berry refreshers and the classics like the Pumpkin Spice Latte.
Service can vary depending on location and time of day, but the staff are generally friendly and the mobile ordering is super convenient. Prices are on the higher side, but the consistency and customizability make it worth it for me.
Overall, Starbucks delivers exactly what I expect—reliable coffee, comfortable vibes, and a little treat when I need one.“
“Very friendly employees not horribly crowded at 530 to 7am but you do have to put up with a completely unjustified security company in parking lot that will not let you enter parking lot until EXACTLY the second he feels like it which hurts the business by making customers park way down a hill walk up parking lot in dark on a hill then get your coffee for no reason“
“Leslie is absolutely the greatest! Every time I visit Starbucks, she is friendly, welcoming, and always goes above and beyond to make my experience amazing. She has a positive attitude, remembers customers, and genuinely makes everyone feel appreciated.“
“Nice Starbucks, visited twice on vacation, good service, asking for tips of course, which is the norm these days to provide me with my drink. Bought five sandwiches, similar to DD food, similar price, a small step up. I concur with the tip request, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It's uncomfortable at best. All of you people reading agree with me. When you are not in the mood you say no, but most people probably concur like I did. The burger guy at MCD's deserves a tip just the same, no? moreso I say“
“Best Starbucks in LA because of the TEAM. Nes & Barabara are the best Starbucks employees in the world. Been coming here 2 years and it’s CONSISTENT. They genuinely always make me feel like part of the LA community.
They make the drinks exactly right and super fast with just the best service. They often have stuff even if it says it’s out in the app so make sure to ask anyways!
There’s never a line and they work so fast!
I always illegitimately Park with my blinkers on the left side of the road on 8th st (don’t park on the right side of 8th st or the bus will auto-ticket you).
Good place for a meetup!“
“I would like to take a moment to say what an outstanding Starbucks this is. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the staff consistently provide excellent service.
Today, I had the pleasure of being helped by Becca, and she truly went above and beyond making sure I had a great matcha latte to my liking. She was kind, thoughtful, charismatic, and exceptionally attentive. Her positive attitude and genuine care made our visit especially enjoyable. Employees like Becca are a big part of what makes this location so special.
Thank you for providing such a great customer experience. Becca is an incredible barista, and her dedication and professionalism deserve recognition.“
“The food and service was quick and courteous. They were a little busy so I had to wait but definitely worth it. The sandwich came out and tasted fresh and hot. The sausage, egg, and cheese muffin tasted typical but it was exactly what I needed.“
“I just started patronizing this store. Almost everything has been perfect. I avoid being here around 3 o’clock to avoid the crush of school children that come in., show no respect and are extremely loud. I usually sit at a Disability table if it’s available which I was recently, and some young girls came up and began to occupy the table to my left. One girl came up and stood between the tables which is not intended to be a standing area otherwise why did they bother to provide tables and seating? Anyway, what’s happening is the girls all caught up in giggling and laughing with her friends that were seated around the table and her posterior she leaned that onto my table and then she bent backwards to lean even more propping herself up with her elbow, and she didn’t realize it, but she was starting to drag my laptop off of the table because her rear end was popped onto the table and onto my charge cable that was there. Brought this to her attention, but she basically froze and not only that she made mocking facial expressions in the direction of her friends at that adjacent table like she thought it was hilarious that I was disturbed that she was about to pull my laptop onto the floor and possibly damage it. I didn’t try to summon staff because I didn’t wanna leave my laptop at risk for her, pulling it off the table and damaging it. So as I noticed that she’s mocking and rolling her eyes and would not give me any attention or acknowledge what I requested of her. I then decided that I needed to elevate my voice for some emphasis, and I did not shout, but my voice can be quite loud and it carries because I worked I used to work a career in a loud environment, but since she wasn’t responding at all, I simply said to her MOVE! That got the attention of the staff that they didn’t bother to come over to see what was up. I explained to the manager that finally came over and since he wasn’t able to control what was going on, I was forced to have to move from the disabled table and do you know my disability? I need to be able to stretch my legs out and this Disability table for me the best opportunity for that because otherwise I can start to experience pain, which I was trying to avoid. So I moved to the far corner of the restaurant and I was texting someone about the incident and then after I was all done back in the corner I came back to the counter and I asked to speak to the manager and I didn’t get the same gentleman that initially responded. I got someone else he was this person actually the store Manager, and he let me know that they have a code of conduct posted on the door and shouting it’s not allowed( even though the school kids can shout to the top of their lungs and no one calls them out for it). He also told me that they were going to create an incident report on what I had done. I guess I could chalk this up to inexperienced managers that don’t know how to think critically. So I avoid coming to the restaurant from around 3 o’clock when the school kids start to arrive.
Another reason, I decided to post this review as I wanted to mention that all of the staff have been extremely good and in particular I’d like to mention the assistant manager, Richard as really being exceptional towards the customer. Thank you, Richard, you always make me feel welcome welcome and valued as a customer.“
“So first, allow me to say that I don't drink the foo foo concoctions, just coffee, latte, or a flat white, so I'm not reviewing them. The coffee at all Starbucks locations is consistently mediocre; not great, not awful. The latte is good, the flat white, my favorite, is terrific, and the customer service is consistently excellent. The train station is right across the street, so it's super convenient when I'm on the go. Not much in the way of ambiance; they've removed all of the seating so it's just grab and go. Starbucks is where I go for a caffeine fix, but if I have time, there are a few other options a bit further away that I prefer, where I can sit and relax with a really good cup of joe, latte, or for an extra special treat, the flat white.“
“My family stopped into this Starbucks on a long day of travel and the atmosphere and service were just what we needed. The entire team was friendly and helpful, and Devarne went out of his way to take care of us. The drinks were great, made how we ordered, and up very quickly. It was a great experience.“
“I came here on a busy afternoon (there was an event going on), and the employees had every reason to feel overwhelmed. Despite that, the barista greeted me with such warmth and outstanding customer service! Thank you, Jaylen, for your kindness. You made my day!“
“I love the hot lattes, even when I'm conscious about the Proposition 65 sign on every Starbucks in California. The blueberry scones and the pastries in general are delicious. This one is inside a market, so don't expect chairs or a good place to relax.“
“One of my favorite starbucks in LA. The coffee is always good, and Samantha, the manager, lights up the place with her positive attitude and outstanding service. I love being here because of her and her amazing staff, especially Josh, who's brilliant smile and electric positivity absolutely lights up the room and can make your day!!“
“Sophia thank you for your amazing personality and smile! So thoughtful to send a valentine note on my cup! Lol
Omg!! Yay! I love coming here! I travel through to work and I’d rather spend my money here. Very delightful experience. I ordered a strawberry pink drink with strawberry cold foam! So delicious!
Michael was exceptional! Thank you.“
“I went to Starbucks on 6th and Grand. My friend and I had our coffees both as just simple medium roast but they put them both into ceramic mugs which in my opinion made a simple cup of coffee a lot more nice.We were told that that way,we could have refills.Small round tables inside the store and nice old fashioned music from the twenties made getting two simple cups of coffee a more enjoyable experience.Later in the afternoon,we both returned to that same Starbucks for more coffee and an enjoyable atmosphere with which to enjoy them.I look forward to going to this Starbucks because in my opinion,it is a nice place to go to gather and meet up with someone to have a cup of coffee or some coffee cakes.“
“Cute Starbucks near the train station on 7th and Flower, I think? I don’t take the train, but that’s probably why it gets so crowded. Service can be slow when it’s busy, which can be a bit frustrating since most folks are just passing through. I usually grab a sando here after my workout at La Fitness. Overall, a nice spot, but the service can be a bit sluggish.“
“In 2019 I moved back to West LA to care for both of my aging elderly parents since there is health issues this particular location becsme my favorite to go Starbucks ! A lot of the employees also got to know my mother and loved and adored her and I know the day that she passed away that they were very emotional but also very supportive everyone treated my mother and I was such kindness compassion and love thank you all for all that you have done we miss you also very much I know I don't come in as often now that I have moved back to the San Fernando valley“
“This is my go-to location so they usually know my drink when they see me. However, turnover is always high at Starbucks so I occasionally end up with the wrong drink. In that case they always remake it immediately and it’s great.
I love this historic building. It’s a gorgeous Streamline Moderne structure built in 1935.“
“Stopped in for a beverage and a piece of loaf. The staff member who served me offered an actual glass since we were staying in which was a nice touch. The seating was comfortable, there was parking available and a bathroom with a code to enter, ensuring safety and not an overuse by non-customers. There is a new chocolate pistachio loaf that I tried which was really delicious. Well done Starbucks!“
“Nice and cozy Starbucks location. The atmosphere is comfortable and it’s a great spot to relax, study, or meet with friends. The staff is friendly and the place is usually clean and well organized. Definitely a pleasant location to grab a coffee and spend some time.“
“Standard Starbucks. Super hot good coffee. No complaints but as always pricey when in hotels. Hotel location was nice and convenient though.
Parking: Location is only good if you stay in the hotel. Parking is expensive and does not make sense if not staying at the Marriott“
“I come to this Starbucks location regularly and wanted to take a moment to recognize Brian for his consistently amazing service. He knows my order and even my name, which makes the experience feel very personal and welcoming every time I visit.
It really makes a difference when someone takes the time to create that kind of environment. The service is always smooth, friendly, and efficient, and it’s a big reason why I keep coming back to this location.
I truly appreciate the effort and positive energy employees like Brian make this Starbucks stand out.“
“I appreciate the staff because I ordered my coffee to the wrong store today (smb & Robertson) and they made it for me at this store so I didn’t have to drive 5 miles to pick it up. I do go to this Starbucks often and it is conveniently located. Thank you!“
“I originally came to this starbucks because another made my drink wrong tasted like just water and caramel and had to big of line to fix it. However Ray was amazing and remade my drink and kept the mood light and funny. Drink was so much better definitely going back.“
“This is my favorite Starbucks in the area! Don't write this place off just because it's inside of a target! The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful, they always remember my name, order and make me feel special picking up my morning cup of coffee ☕️5/5“
“Everytime I come to this location all the ladies (Courtney, Nae, Candie, Junique, etc), make the BEST DRINKS. Their CUSTOMER SERVICE is ALWAYS ON POINT. I never have a bad day when visiting this location. The service is swift, kind and tasty. Thank you Ladies. Keep up the excellent service. Highly Recommended!!“
“I just wanted to give a shout out to the young woman working alone at the Starbucks counter inside Ralphs (10/28/2021 9:30am). I’ve been there, and it’s no fun when you have a stream of grumpy people who want their coffee and have no patience. You have to take and make the orders by yourself. You are doing amazing. Starbucks is lucky to have you and I hope you get a raise. My order was perfect. I didn’t see a tip jar which is a bummer. Thank you!“
“This Starbucks was a great place to take a break during the day! ☕🌴✨ The coffee was fresh, the service was quick, and the staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. 😊👏
The café was clean, well organized, and had a comfortable atmosphere that made it easy to relax for a while. 🪑🌿🏡 Whether you're stopping in for a quick drink or spending some time working or chatting with friends, it feels like a very pleasant place to be.
I also appreciated the convenient parking, which makes visiting this location much easier than many other Starbucks stores in Los Angeles. 🚗👍 That's definitely a big advantage!
Overall, everything was exactly what I expect from Starbucks—consistent quality, great coffee, and excellent service. ☕💚 I'll definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the area! 🌟🙌“
“This is my first time in this location I came in to get a refresher the Valentine cannonball and the parties I heard my husband and I talking about my birthday so they offered me another free drink I wasn't expecting it nor did I ask thank you so very much for the kind young lady that made the second drink for free“
“The Westwood location offers excellent customer service and a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. The music is at a comfortable level, and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. They treat their regulars with care and even take the time to ask about your day. As a regular myself, I truly appreciate the experience. The food is great as well—highly recommend. I wish more Starbucks locations were like this.“
“I enjoy checking out local coffee shops wherever I go and decided to give this place a visit since it was close to my work. Service was outstanding that followed Covid precautions. Ordered a Vanilla latte which was on point with its ratio of syrup and expresso.“
“The usual Starbucks. This location is always busy, but what do you expect to find at the intersection of Fairfax, Pico, and Olympic. Parking can be a real challenge, and I've had to bypass it a number of times simply because there is no room to park.“
“I came in and the place looks outstanding! The employees greeted me with all smiles! Very friendly and family vibes. Music was good and the ambiance on point. It’s clean and it looks a little different than other locations..but I like it!“
“This to me is the best coffee place in the greater Los Angeles area, which proceeds to get my business EVERY MORNING. My order is simple but they can make whatever coffee Modification you desire, as long as they have the flavor in stock. My favorite coffee is dark roast with 6 vanilla and 6 hazelnut with half and half creamer, and I've ordered so much, they know my voice and have my coffee by the time I reach the window. I would recommend this place to any coffee lover!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!“
“This starbucks is a prime example of what good customer service should be, cant say enough good things about everyone that works there. From Ernesto, to Rafa, to Andy, Jayson, Rosemary, & all the girls that work there. I haven't got the chance to remember everyone's name but they're all exceptionally nice and I love going there. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS 💯“
“This is by far one of my favorite Starbucks locations. The service is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is something special. It’s always clean, the furniture is updated and comfortable, and the music creates a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile.
What really stands out is the sense of community. The local crowd creates a warm, diverse, and inclusive atmosphere that feels genuine and inviting. It almost feels more like a neighborhood coffee house than a typical Starbucks.
A special shoutout to Barista Jake for providing outstanding service. Friendly, professional, and welcoming. He’s a big part of what makes this location such a great place to visit. If you’re looking for great coffee, great people, and a comfortable place to work or relax, this Starbucks is definitely worth the stop.“
“Got a protein iced matcha and it tasted perfect , then I called to see if I left my sweater … I didn’t leave it there but I was able to find it because Morgan , I believe , answered the phone and was very helpful. Such a small gesture, but sometimes they matter the most! My sweater is very special to me.“
