And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “Service was really good which is always a must for me.
The amount of food I got in my boil bag was good as well for the price. I got crab and shrimp lb of each. The only thing is their gumbo base is a little more thin than I personally like and light on flavor. I also got the jumbo shrimp plate and they weren’t really jumbo shrimp however they were really good flavor. Overall I would come back and I actually got it to go so I’d like to sit down and see how it is in the future. But usually if to go is good in house is good or better 😊“

“The dining room atmosphere was really cool⚓️, the music was awesome, and the food was delicious 😋 We ordered the 2 lb cajun garlic shrimp bucket, a bowl of gumbo, garlic fries, and calamari. The bibs and gloves given to us for eating were perfect and necessary for the messy juicy shrimp.🍤 Everything was very tasty and not too spicy. “I really enjoyed the Nola vibes in the seating area on the side of the building. I was worried that the cajun seasoning on the tots would be spicy but it wasn't, and they were very good. I also had the chicken sliders without the hot sauce, and they were also good, but I wish they'd had more slaw on them. The Theves sweet tea was soooo good, I wish they sold it in gallon size!“

“I recently stumbled upon your establishment and must say, the name perfectly captures how I felt after trying your food. I ordered fried wings, rice, and vegetables, and each dish was exceptional.

The wings were piping hot, and the aroma that wafted from the box was simply incredible. The blend of spices and flavors was perfect, and I was truly blown away.

The rice was buttery and delicious, and the vegetables were a wonderful complement to the meal.

And out of left field, the garlic bread was very tasty. I come here often and like it a lot-might be the best hidden secret in the area. If you do not like spice, order the no spice option and it is very mild. The mild is already more spicy than some people would like. Their veggies are always fresh and cooked well. Meats are higher quality. You wont be disappointed with your order from here.“

“It was our first time here and it was a fantastic experience. It was a day after Valentines, so the restaurant was decorated. Our server, Brianna, was very attentive and kept checking on us to make sure we were good. The food was delicious and well priced.“

“Came here with a group of 4 on a Friday around 530. We were seated and attended to right away. The service was nice and the food was really good. We actually found that going alacart was cheaper then getting a combo on the menu. My mom shared a 1/2 pound of shrimp, 1/2 pound of green muscles, we added corn and sausage and like 2 ordered of garlic bread, plus we each had a margarita and our total was like 60 dollars as opposed to one combo with no drinks, and no garlic bread is like 60 dollars. Anyhow the flavors were so good we tried the butter garlic on the shrimp and the stinken sauce flavor on the muscles and everything was delicious! I recommend this place because it's also really close to (driving close that is) the long Beach exchange/ hanger for some walking around after you are nice and stuffed.“

Boil Daddy is a franchise, you specifically visited the South LA location to try the new pickles. The fried pickles are only available at our Boil Daddy South LA location. Available on Uber Eats and DoorDash. You can find their South LA location under Boil Daddy Inglewood. They open very late until midnight which is a plus.“
