“The menu on the website had no prices. This was our first clue. And seeing the menu in print certainly validated our sleuthy intuition. \nThe food was very good and beautifully presented, no argument there. But over $200 before tip with one starter, two entrees and one dessert felt overpriced to me. Portions were sized well - they seemed small but were satisfying and we didn’t leave hungry. \nThe music was also a bit too loud, although I connected to the playlist. \nOverall a decent experience. I wouldn’t necessarily revisit, but would recommend with the cost caveat.“

“Andre who was our waiter was great! I had the salmon. I love salmon but I am always disappointed when I order it from a restaurant. My wife poaches it with tons of butter. Wow, it's THE best. Sorry BOA but I have to compare it with my wife's. It was good, but not great. My wife had the Lobster pasta Diavolo and it was wonderful. Overall, BOA treated us great and we will be back. It was our 53rd wedding anniversary and BOA couldn't have made it more special. Congratulations to BOA and it's staff.“

“I had the warmest experience at The Arthur J, from the hostess at the front door, the wait staff and the manager. I had recently lost my husband prior to my reservation and was determined to enjoy our anniversary dinner. Not only was a the food delicious, but the overall experience was beyond memorable. “Eddie V's is a place I love to go to an have events an conferee dinners. Last Night I made reservations that early morning which was yesterday 1/24/26 for 8pm. When we got there 7:45 athe concierge greeted us great and told us they are preparing our table right now. The young lady behind the counter got mad an told him no it will be at 8. So he repeated it to us and told us we could stand there or go over to the bar and have a seat and they will come get us. while at the bar service was very slow and asked for a jack an coke they had 0 bottles of jack. Next they finally came to get us at which was 8:45. This wasn't the way to start a 28 year anniversary. When every anniversary we go to Eddie's. But this time it was just so different.“

“We just had the BEST New Year's Eve dinner at Porterhouse. Normally, we shy away from restaurants on NYE, with their overpriced and mediocre pre-fix dinners, but, luckily, we ended up at Porterhouse which was offering their normal a la carte menu. The menu is very extensive and every item was so tempting. The restaurant itself is gorgeous (beautiful lighting, brick walls and stunning bar). And it wouldn't have been half as amazing if it weren't for Ricky, the manager. He made us feel so welcome and made sure our night was impeccable. The cocktails were phenomenal , especially one called the Apiary (Ricky invented it, of course) which was a true work of art for the eyes and taste buds. Every dish we ordered was out of this world and cooked to perfection - wagyu steak tartare, tuna tartare, fried oysters, wedge salad, wagyu filet mignon, asparagus, broccolini and mushrooms. And, yes, we finished everything! We will undoubtedly be going back. We can't thank Ricky and Porterhouse enough for a perfect start to the new year!“

“Had an incredible experience this evening at BOA. Mr. Ousley seated our party in the best seats! My server Mark was outstanding and his service was spot on. Clay and his whole team were On Point. The whole vibe and atmosphere was just perfect. I think I just had the best steak of my life right here in Santa Monica.“

“What a find! I'm not in the habit of writing reviews but after a recent “Spaghetti Sunday” at The Georgian Room I find myself wanting to share this win. So rare to find a restaurant that delivers on both feel and flavor. Standouts were - (expertly executed) martini, crunchy/buttery/ herby garlic bread, perfectly punchy/ tangy/creamy + bright Caesar, made with crisp little gem lettuce, spaghetti and meatballs, just the kind you want - perfectly cooked pasta, straightforward meatballs in a traditional and tasty, comforting sauce. The service was top tier (warm and attentive). Such fun to be in room full of people enjoying delicious food together in a beautiful setting!“

“We came here for a coworker's birthday. They called ahead and prepared a special menu with our names on it, along with homemade cheesecake and whipped cream. We ordered the prime rib, broccoli and French onion soup. For the price, I would rate the steak 8.5/10. The service and ambiance of the restaurant was great. Highly recommended for dates, family dinners or corporate/clients.“

“I swear this is the best food I’ve ever eaten at any restaurant I usually don’t like restaurant food but this place is A1 gravy and the waiter ms ROIX is the best in the building..definitely recommend going there can’t wait till next time THANKS ROIX“
