“Ordered here through Postmates. I ordered a double Aged white Cheddar with bacon burger and Seasoned Fries, and Oreo Milkshake. Definitely worth the Price, I have honestly never seen a double burger this big ? it’s juicy, not over cooked, seasoned perfectly. Wish I would’ve taken a picture, but I’ll definitely order from here again!“

“Such an enchanting restaurant. I went there for the second time taking my girlfriends . It was such a hit and WE all had an amazing time . The food, service and atmosphere all are superb . “After our Altadena house burned down, we relocated to Barker Block and absolutely love being so close to Manuela. We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. Their expertise is off the charts, and I highly recommend.“

“I recommend Botanica to everyone. They use fresh hand picked ingredients and the food is delicous! Their cocktails and desserts are so yum. I picked up some chile oil and pickled local veggies for gifts for my friends! Chef Zarah and the staff are best. Will definitely be returning soon.“

“We came here for a birthday lunch and ordered the Truffle Mushroom Pizza, the Market Chop salad and the Shrimp Pasta. The salad and shrimp pasta was absolutely delicious but the pizza was... okay. The service was great and I would definitely come back again for another meal.“

“Unlike most beautiful, scenic restaurants in LA, where the atmosphere is stunning and the food tastes like it came from a prison, Cara Cara has managed to smash every single mark out of the ballpark. From the incredible food and drinks to the delightfully sweet and helpful staff, the cherry on top of all of it is the incredible view of DTLA. As a certified NYC food snob, I have been deeply underwhelmed by SO many restaurants out here. So grateful I found Cara Cara. It is hands down my new favorite spot.“

“Amazing food. Plate licking sauces, organic,locally sourced food. Korean fusion. Did I mention organic pickled everything. Enzyme rich food. Beyond healthy. Humble little hope in the wall run by a husband and wife team. Dude went to Korea to study with the most famous vegan nun chef in Korea. A must go to for anyone who loves food and especially loves fusion with organic and very well priced. He should charge Much more but they don’t.“

“It was my first time here and the sandwiches were amazing. We hit the lunch rush on a Sunday and it got pretty packed, but the staff were super nice and we got our food in no time. There is an amazing craft beer selection and also a great NA drink selection as well. There is a cute back patio to sit and enjoy. Highly recommend!“

“I've been going to Pieloon for a few years now and it is THE BEST restaurant in Downey! The food is always fabulous, the portions are large, the service is perfect! I've had appetizers, salads, pastas, steaks, burgers, sandwiches (I'm addicted to the BLT) and many of their specials. My family and I go now 2x a week and have trouble deciding what to get because it's all so good! And the pies...their pumpkin pie is the best I've ever had and the blueberry cheesecake is fabulous...but just wait until fresh peach pie season...I'll gain weight just thinking about it...the fresh peach is the best pie I've ever, EVER had! I love this place and the people who work there!! They're like family now!“

“Oh yes. My wife and I have passed this place many times when visiting the adjacent Flower market in DTLA - and it was always busy. After we had all our flowery-needs yesterday I asked my wife to Yelp "best breakfast in DTLA" and it popped up - the Poppy & Rose - and we were standing in front of it. I must say two things: I did not find the ambiance too appealing and they you could hear through the open door it was extremely loud. Still, we gave it a try - and I can tell you: it was delicious. Our server - one you would describe as the typical California surfer boy - was extremely charming - so despite the so-so ambiance (the vibe of this place was great though) and the noise we will definitely go again. Would we make a 30+ min detour just to eat here (mandatory in my rating scheme to achieve five out five): again, oh yes!“

“We’ve been wanting to come here for a while and we’re so glad we did!!! Although they were fully committed for the night, we were able to get squeezed in and sat on the heated patio. We basically had it all to ourselves. Our server was amazing, recommended nearby spots for a complete “New York” experience to top off our night. The drink and food we ordered were to die for - Afrobeets, Lamb Tartare, and Yellowtail Crudo. Definitely a beautiful spot you must try!!!“

“They may take a little while to make their sandwiches but it’s worth the wait. Fresh, delicious sandwiches. You could have a dozen that they won’t hurt your stomach at all.
They have a lot of options, cold or hot; they’re all great. If you have the chance try the breakfast sandwiches; they’re bomb.
The guys are always nice even though they’re super busy. Drinks are great too, I always order Hibiscus and not only it’s super refreshing but not too sweet. I wish they offered coffee in the morning but other than that, this place is great 👍🏻“
