The pastry was buttery and the chocolate filling was sweet, maybe little too sweet. The proprietor of the business is such a sweet man. The plate presentation was stunning, far exceeding my expectations—it was a true work of art. The side of Grapefruit and Vinaigrette Salad was the perfect accompaniment. It was one of the best salads I have ever had in San Francisco; the brightness of the grapefruit cut through the richness of the duck beautifully. Desserts: Celebrating National Cocoa Day! To celebrate National Cocoa Day Dec. 13th-I couldn't resist. I highly suggest partaking in the Hot Chocolate for a decadent dessert item—it was rich, velvety, and a perfect holiday treat. And if you still have room, the Cheesecake with Brown Sugar is another truly fantastic dessert that offers a wonderful, comforting finish to the meal. “One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). We wanted to go back today but they are closed on Sundays.?“

“A very cozy place in the financial district. Even though we went on a weekend, there were still a lot of people working there. Their pour over coffee is reasonably priced and they also provide coffee beans in the shop. I like the paintings they have inside. The coffee also comes with a postcard telling us where the coffee beans come from and the history, which I think is very nice. If you like coffee, I recommend giving this place a try.“

“Came here for a friend catchup and we got seated and had a reservation beforehand.

Good:
- The ramen came out very quickly - I got the classic ramen bowl
- The portion size was good - I was very full by the end
- A nice place to catch up - it's got japanese izakaya vibes and more dimly lit

Bad:
- The soup was really salty so it felt like it was unhealthy to drink too much of it

Overall this was a solid place to have an extended catch up and the ramen was quick and tasty.“

“I only had take-out and delivery but everything was delicious! The pork wonton soup was amazing. I was expecting pork wontons but there were several meaty dumplings (obviously from scratch) with plenty of BBQ pork and veggies. I was sick at the end of my trip and this place got me through it. The combo rice, shrimp noodles, spring rolls, crab rangoons, fried chicken, and soup was the best I've ever had. Three out of six days we ordered Kung Food and were pleasantly delighted every time. There is nothing like this place up in Washington state.“

I’ve been coming here for almost 3 years, sometimes 3+ times a month🙈🤣 I always get the chicken tikka masala & chicken Cho mein, (I ask for both Spicy but you can get any level of heat you prefer) & a side of the garlic naan. I had their famous koya toast, and it was good — especially their bread (made in house) that was perfectly toasted. “Delicious fresh dishes, a pity that there were no anchovies in the Caeser salad, but fortunately the lettuce was wonderfully crispy. Meatballs were also tasty, as was the quinoa salad. Had a glass of wine with my food on their nice terrace. The sun was shining, what more could you want? The only downside is that everything is served in plastic. But otherwise a really great address! Definitely go in if you're in the area!“
