“Been meaning to review this location.
This location is perfect for crab and lobster lovers. We ordered the crab and lobster set menu and had both the crab and lobster cooked with garlic sauce. I was told it was amazing, since I am allergic to both crab and lobster, I more of the garlic noodles -yummy., papaya salad, steamed sea bass and charbroiled pork. I really liked their garlic noodles. It’s as good as Thanh Long .”

- Han Sang Guk Bap - The best part of the noodle soup was the broth. It was so tasty. I had every last drop of it with my side purple rice.
- Yuk Hwe - I'm usually impartial to beef tartare but it was better than some of the beef tartares I had in Paris!”

“Flavor bomb!! This place is a hidden gem. Recommend the Al pastor tacos. I also got the birria taco with the consome. Don’t forget to purchase it separate. I agree with the previous reviews. One of the best tacos you’ll find in the Bay Area. You get so much quality and quantity for the price. $3?? Feels almost the same quality as SD. The staff are super nice too. Wish they had more locations!”

“This restaurant is close to the Milbrae Caltrain and Bart stations and the San Francisco International airport. It's an excellent choice for having food when dropping or waiting to pick up someone at the airport. The food is fresh and delicious There are good vegetarian choices.”
“We were a bit lost at the beginning since we ordered online and didn't find the truck at the spot marked on maps... However, when we did find it (parked just a block away), we had some of the best food we tasted during our stay in SF ❤️ Absolutely amazing nachos and burgers! Thanks!”

“Location, it’s like a little hole in the wall. However, their pizza and pasta was not bad. We ordered a margarita pizza and the Hawaiian pizza. Pizza is not my favorite since I am lactose intolerant however it was not bad. I had 1 slice of each and it was delicious. We also ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Their portions are huge so we had a lot of leftovers.”
“I ate there last week for the first time in several years. The menu is large and many different styles of food. I had the Prime Rib and it was EXCELLENT. There was 2 others in my party and they were equally impressed. Another benefit is that there are no parking problems. I will definitely eat there again.”

“Noodleosophy is local Bay Area chain focusing on hand-pulled noodle dishes, and this location in particular can be found in Millbrae's Social Eatery food hall. As part of Social Eatery, patrons can take a seat within the food hall, place their orders on the provided tablet, and a staff member will bring the food an beverages straight to your table.
We decided to get their beef tendon noodle soup and selected the biang biang noodles (you're able to customize the dish to your liking with whatever noodle option you prefer). We also got a side of their pork and shrimp dumplings, because who doesn't love dumplings?
The beef tendon noodle soup was rich and flavorful, while the accompanying noodles were perfectly cooked and chewy - providing a great mouth feel to the dish. The dumplings were delicious as well, and were a nice addition to the meal as a whole.
If you're ever in the Millbrae area and want a one-stop shop for all your dining and beverage needs, then Social Eatery is definitely the place to go and be sure to enjoy some delicious hand-pulled noodles from Noodleosophy while you're at it!”

A much-needed renovation could transform this place from a hidden gem with great food into a truly top-tier dining destination.
In summary, Sungandh Indian Restaurant is a place you go for the food, particularly the exceptional butter chicken and paneer kadhai. The kitchen staff are clearly masters of their craft. Parking: There's an in n out right next to it and the line was out of the parking lot (insane). That blocks off spots to park but we parked anyway and people were very accommodating.”

“I travelled from Riverside County to come eat at this restaurant and have heard such great reviews about it from my relatives and friends who live all the way in China! It was worth the drive and we will definitely be back again. Each dish is unique and they also have gluten free options as well as requested options. (My f5 year old is Gluten free).The bamboo and mushroom dish had a hint of sweetness with an undertone of spice, the Chong qing 🌶spicy chicken was mouth watering, along with the eggplant 🍆 dish, dry stir fried fish, and glass noodles with pork! I enjoyed every dish and my kids enjoyed their shrimp fried rice dish and greens as well. Our family is a foodie family and we love ❤️ traveling far and near to try dishes from around the world. “This restaurant has it all. The food is outstanding. If you want pancakes that remind you of the pancakes that were so delicious and cooked to perfection by your Mom, Peter's is the place to go. You want a REAL fresh cooked hamburger and cooked to your likes, Peter's is the place. I've eaten hamburgers in alot of restaurants. No one and I mean no one makes a hamburger that comes anywhere close to Peter's hamburger! I can't make a hamburger that good in my own kitchen and believe me I've tried. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Great place to have breakfast or lunch with a friend and not be rushed. Peter and his staff makes sure each customer feels special. The portions of food allow you to have another meal at home. My friend and I can't say enough good things about Peter's Cafe. BEST CAFE IN MILLBRAE!!”
“Get the Portuguese / Hong-Kong Style Egg Tarts. It is the flagship item in the store. It tasted like a master pastry chef has been perfecting it for decades. Crust is buttery flakey and the filling hits every note on your palate. Additionally, I also got a Pineapple bun and Steam Bun with Black Sesame. I wished the bun was a little fluffier on the inside and the black sesame bun had more even distribution of the black sesame paste for the size of the bun. Service was great and hospitable on a busy Saturday morning. I look forward to trying more items from the bakery. Please make sure to bring cash for any purchase under $15 to help the business with credit card fees.”

“Love this location when I feel like having some clay pot dish. Normally we come here and we ordered various dishes and we share among our group. What honey liked the most about there’s clay pot dishes were the crunchy bottom of the rice. Nice and crispy and crunchy. We order: clay pot Lap Mei (a little bit fatty, clay pot Chicken & Mushroom (my favorite), clay pot Grilled Unagi ( my favorite), clay pot Chicken feet and Pork Ribs ( my husband favorite), clay pot Pork Patty ( not bad) and Beef Stew Noodles with wide noodles and ramen noodles ( yummy). We have also tried their Milk Tea Taro Milk( too thick for me) and taro and boba ( wasn’t as thick). Would we go back.. We have been back numerous times already. 😂”

“My first introduction to brazilian food was a coxinha. I wanted to taste it before I got home, but it didn't even make it home, it was so good. I love the krispy texture outside and then the creaminess of the mixture inside, its just beautiful. And for those who don't like spice, this is the perfect amount of heat. I would have preferred to have a little spicier, but those who cannot handle heat,this is really good.
I also had their carrot cake and there corn cake. Both good.”

Their food is presented well and amply portioned. Their service is consistently good and the servers are attentive. Whether we eat a late lunch or dinner with family and friends, we always leave this place full and content.My only criticism of this place is the location. Because the gym is directly above it, more specifically, the weight room, you can hear the weights dropping on the floor on certain occasions and it’s distracting. However, because we enjoy eating here more than anything else, we tolerate the noise on the few instances it’s happened.There is ample parking around, both on the street and in the parking lot next to it.Overall, I recommend you try this restaurant if you’re in the neighborhood.”

“I recently had the chance to check out Yan Peninsula in Millbrae, and overall, it was a refreshing and flavorful experience. The restaurant is located right on El Camino Real, and while parking was a little tight (as it always seems to be around here), I lucked out with a spot in their small lot.
The inside feels modern and clean – it’s a bit more upscale than your typical dim sum joint, with no carts roaming around. Instead, you fill out a paper checklist, which I actually preferred because it meant everything came out fresh and hot.
We ordered a mix of the classics and a few house specials. The baked BBQ pork buns were absolutely delicious – crispy outside with sweet, savory pork inside. The shrimp siu mai with roe was solid, and the texture was just right. A surprise standout was the salted egg yolk lava buns – rich, creamy, and perfect as a dessert.
The only slight miss for me was the BBQ rice noodle rolls – the texture was a bit too thick and gummy, but not a dealbreaker.
Service was friendly, though a bit slow during peak lunch hours. We had to flag someone down a couple times for tea refills and to check on a missing order, but everyone was polite and helpful once we got their attention.
Pricing is on the higher side – we were a group of four and ended up with a $100+ bill (including a 15% service charge). Still, for the quality and clean, relaxed atmosphere, I felt it was worth it.
Final thoughts: Yan Peninsula feels like a great option if you’re craving dim sum but want a cleaner, more modern experience without the chaos of traditional push-cart spots. I’d definitely go back – maybe on a weekday to avoid the crowds.”

“Flavor bomb!! This place is a hidden gem. Recommend the Al pastor tacos. I also got the birria taco with the consome. Don’t forget to purchase it separate. I agree with the previous reviews. One of the best tacos you’ll find in the Bay Area. You get so much quality and quantity for the price. $3?? Feels almost the same quality as SD. The staff are super nice too. Wish they had more locations!”
“Chain bakery with a lot of selection of sweets and drinks. You can spend a few hours here with the open air space.
One minus is the online order. They don’t seem to pay attention to online order. I ordered coffee for pick up 45mins before the desired pick up time. By the time I arrive, not only they don’t have the coffee ready they also have to check the order and make it 10mins after the pick up time.
It’s not during a peak time. Very inefficient operation could use some more attention.”
“We had an amazing dinner yesterday at Hana Izumi! We made same day reservations and the staff was so friendly and quick to accommodate us and our child. Honestly, each dish was unique and delicious. It reminded us of our trip in Japan. We hope to come back soon for a special occasion.”
