There was 2 others in my party and they were equally impressed. Another benefit is that there are no parking problems. I will definitely eat there again.“

“Really good Chinese BBQ place. All of the bread items we tried were flaky and tasty, highly recommend the brown sugar one. The skewers were all solid, and I appreciated that the beef had a more teriyaki-style flavor, because too much cumin starts to get a bit sameish. In that regard, you should consider getting an order of the lettuce leaves to use as a wrap for the skewers, it's a great palette cleanser and adds some nice texture.

Would love to go again, but it's a bit far from my house and Chinese BBQ isn't something you can do too frequently.“

“I haven't eat here for quite a while. The dimsum is good compared to alot of other nearby Chinese restaurants. It's not busy at all so food come out super fast. Service is great. Waitress keep checking on us every 15 min. Overall I'm happy with the visit and recommend eating here.“

“The oysters were fresh and sweet, and the Caesar salad was excellent — I especially loved the sardines and crunchy croutons. The cioppino was flavorful with generous seafood, though it only came with one small slice of crostini, which wasn’t quite enough to soak up the broth. Unfortunately, the linguine with clams was disappointing — the sauce was watery, bland, and lacked any garlic flavor. The brownie sundae was decent, nothing to rave about but a nice finish.

Service was just okay. Our server seemed a bit inexperienced — two entrées came out first, and we had to wait about five minutes for the third. The table wasn’t wiped down before dessert, and even after I asked for extra napkins (which I needed for the crab in the cioppino), they never came. Overall, some dishes shined, but the inconsistencies in food and service made the experience feel uneven.“

“Anchored in the bay, all the way from Puget sound and a dinghy ride in for food. Walked around and quickly realized this was the busiest spot in town. Cold beverages outside made the wait alright. Ordering is easy — you just check boxes on the menu, no need for much talking (introvert-friendly ✅). The place is clean and casual, great for a quick healthy lunch.

“My son took me here for lunch - we’d been meaning to try it. We were very pleased - amazing view with tiered tables so other guests aren’t blocking the view. I have seen many locations across the bay area.

Food: Most of the foods are grilled or fried. All of them are tasty and fresh. Many fish choices, sauces, and sites to choose from. My favorite sauces are garlic butter and Cajun. The fish and chips are very good with tartar sauce. The grilled sea bass fish are very flavorful and would recommend having sauce on the side.

Price: very reasonable price for portions of food.“

“I had an exceptional dining experience at Evangelian Cuisine! The seafood was unbelievably fresh and flavorful—truly some of the best I’ve ever had. We ordered the paella and fish and chips, and both dishes were outstanding.

Our waiter, Adolfo, was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the ingredients in the dishes we ordered and the wines they offer. He recommended the Albariño Eleusis, which turned out to be one of the best white wines I’ve ever tasted! Adolfo was polite, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

“Love this place, I keep coming back. They have a standout Beef Chow Fun with generous beef and strong wok hei. I always order the Minced Pork and Mei Cai which I miss from Singapore, and feel is pretty uncommon for Chinese restos in SF. We've also tried many other items - clams with egg, rock cod and tofu claypot, etc - all homey and delicious.

The uncle who runs the place is pretty friendly and charming to EVERYONE too (also uncommon for Chinese restos for non-Chinese speaking diners)!“

Our server, Betty (i think) made sure to keep bringing us fresh biscuits while we waited on our food. Betty was exceptionally sweet. I think we were her last table but she went out of her way to be nice to us. The small touches like the crisp tablecloths and napkins, the warm welcome ... and then there's the food. Warm bread served with tasty butter and jalapeno sauce followed by the calamari and lomo saltado. Topped off by arroz con leche. What a beautiful late lunch. “We visited Flying Fish during the Pumpkin Festival weekend. Even with the crowds and hectic parking situation, our party of 10 was seated right away. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better.

We ordered a variety of dishes — calamari, fish and chips, clam chowder (both in a bread bowl and in a regular bowl), and the seafood cioppino. Everything was delicious! My favorites were the fish and chips and the calamari. Portions were great, the food came out fresh, and the flavors were spot on.

The food was almost too beautiful to eat and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. One of our guests said it was the best spaghetti he had ever had! The mushroom risotto was perfection. I had the Chilean sea bass and WOW! The salmon was also amazing. The other two guests had roasted chicken and hangar steak… I didn’t get to try them but they looked amazing and everyone cleaned their plate even though we were full lol! We will absolutely be back.
