All the side dishes that come with it were tasty with my favorite being the garlic noodles. Mango and Coconut ice cream at the end was the perfect touch. There was 2 others in my party and they were equally impressed. Another benefit is that there are no parking problems. I will definitely eat there again.“

“Really good Chinese BBQ place. All of the bread items we tried were flaky and tasty, highly recommend the brown sugar one. The skewers were all solid, and I appreciated that the beef had a more teriyaki-style flavor, because too much cumin starts to get a bit sameish. In that regard, you should consider getting an order of the lettuce leaves to use as a wrap for the skewers, it's a great palette cleanser and adds some nice texture.

Would love to go again, but it's a bit far from my house and Chinese BBQ isn't something you can do too frequently.“

“I haven't eat here for quite a while. The dimsum is good compared to alot of other nearby Chinese restaurants. It's not busy at all so food come out super fast. Service is great. Waitress keep checking on us every 15 min. Overall I'm happy with the visit and recommend eating here.“

“Food was super delicious! Check pea flour fried artichokes hearts we yummy, Deviled eggs are the best starter and a must have on every visit. This was our first time having the Shrimp Louie salad and it is now my favorite in all of SF. It is shredded and ready to eat. Presentation alone has high marks and the flavors were perfectly balanced. We split the Cioppino with the added pasta on the side. Yuu-uuuummmmm! Lots of seafood and the soup base had us making deals for the dregs at the end.“

“Anchored in the bay, all the way from Puget sound and a dinghy ride in for food. Walked around and quickly realized this was the busiest spot in town. Cold beverages outside made the wait alright. “Great poke near SFO! About $20 for a huge bowl with 5 kinds of sashimi — perfect for anyone trying to eat light but stay full. I picked tuna, salmon, octopus, scallops, and another fish, with brown rice, veggies, and spicy mayo. Super fresh and filling until the end of the workday.

Ordering is easy — you just check boxes on the menu, no need for much talking (introvert-friendly ✅). The place is clean and casual, great for a quick healthy lunch.

They also have curry chicken katsu (crispy and delicious), sushi, ramen, and takoyaki. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area!“

“My son took me here for lunch - we’d been meaning to try it. We were very pleased - amazing view with tiered tables so other guests aren’t blocking the view. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious and nicely presented. As a nice addition, there was a pianist playing while we dined which added to the ambience. Food: Most of the foods are grilled or fried. All of them are tasty and fresh. Many fish choices, sauces, and sites to choose from. My favorite sauces are garlic butter and Cajun. The fish and chips are very good with tartar sauce. The grilled sea bass fish are very flavorful and would recommend having sauce on the side.

Price: very reasonable price for portions of food.“

“Hidden gem in Half Moon Bay! This is small restaurant owned by a family, one of the owners is the cook. The food looks and tastes very good and service is just the best. We had patata, lobster bisque and shrimps and all three were amazing. Totally must go place while visiting!“

“Love this place, I keep coming back. They have a standout Beef Chow Fun with generous beef and strong wok hei. I always order the Minced Pork and Mei Cai which I miss from Singapore, and feel is pretty uncommon for Chinese restos in SF. We've also tried many other items - clams with egg, rock cod and tofu claypot, etc - all homey and delicious.

The uncle who runs the place is pretty friendly and charming to EVERYONE too (also uncommon for Chinese restos for non-Chinese speaking diners)!“

“I found this place while searching Uber eats 2 weeks ago but was turned off by their 4.2 rating. I took a chance last night anyways and was not disappointed. The lemon pepper wings were the best we have tried. The shrimp, snow crab, and lobster combo was perfect in ultimate medium spicy sauce. The food was still super hot upon delivery. We would have liked more corn but was ok sharing the 2 pieces. The driver was on time and followed the instructions so well our dog didn't hear him til he was leaving. Will definitely order again and try to eat at the location.“

“What a find! On our way to international SFO flight, stopped in San Mateo and were delighted by the food, ambience and especially the hosts at La Ronda. The small touches like the crisp tablecloths and napkins, the warm welcome ... and then there's the food. Warm bread served with tasty butter and jalapeno sauce followed by the calamari and lomo saltado. Topped off by arroz con leche. What a beautiful late lunch. Thank you La Ronda for a fun food experience. We will make it a point to return.“

We had the Brussels sprouts, cheese bread, crab bread, crab cakes, boneless rips, clipper plates, Manila clams and tacos. Basically everything from the menu. Our server, Betty (i think) made sure to keep bringing us fresh biscuits while we waited on our food. Betty was exceptionally sweet. I think we were her last table but she went out of her way to be nice to us. One of my friends had a togo order and she waited to make sure the burger got to us before she left her shift. she was so genuinely gracious, pleasant and accommodating We all hope she is working the next time we are in. she’s a great server.❤️ we’re already planning our next trip“

“Walked in not expecting much but was greeted lovingly by a sweet family running shop by themselves. They seemed delighted that we were eating In and the small homey setting really felt like they inviting us to sit at their table. The spam masubi was incredible, served fresh, with a sweet sauce, and a little touch of pork sung in there made all the difference. I got the wagyu beef with egg meal. It also came with that signature sauce and the meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. As we left, packing up the leftovers off the heaping plates of food, the father ran out to give us some extra sauce and make sure we didn’t leave without knowing how much we were appreciated. The incredible food and the family’s hospitality truly made it feel like I was eating a home cooked meal with my grandparents and I would love to come back and support them more!“
