“Tasty vietnamese desserts. Staff are knowledgeable about how to make items vegan and many things are automatically vegan. Got the red bean trio which was really tasty, liked the different textures. The pandan jelly was good and not artificial tasting at all. The taro in it added a nice creaminess. Also got the choco banana smoothie with soymilk which was good.“

“Amazing Banh Mi! Everything about it was amazing. I usually have trouble with the crispy portion but this bread had a thin crisp with a nice soft inner. When I went around 2pm they ran out of pork so I got a beef instead. No regrets because this is the best beef banh mi I've ever had. Very tender meat and well seasoned. I loved the amount of veggies packed in as well.
I'll definitely be back for more!“

“Visiting from MN and found this bahn mi shop. Ordered the chicken spring rolls and the lemongrass beef bahn mi and it was all magnificent!
The spring rolls were huge and we purchased two of their hot sauces for dipping and it was all delicious.
The sandwich was perfect with a crispy baguette and lots of veggies. Highly recommend!“

“The pho, noticeably fragrant. 20 hours of simmering evident in the deepness of taste, buttery from the marrow drawn from bones. Clean and translucent broth, an indicator of quality. The wait time, a result of perfectly boiled-to-order rice noodles. What’s missing in decor is over-compensated by taste. Come for a rare-find bowl of solid noodle soup — no frills, but very simply delicious.“

“Café Bunn Mi in South San Francisco is hands-down one of my favorite spots for comfort food!
Their garlic noodles are absolutely delicious full of flavor and perfectly cooked every time. I pay for extra noodles! I spoil myself like that all the time!
The imperial rolls and egg rolls are always crispy, fresh, and packed with goodness. For the imperial rolls I always pay for extra lettuce! They come with the vermicelli noodles and fish sauce!!!
Their fried chicken sandwich is another must-try: crunchy, juicy, and so satisfying.
And of course, you can’t forget the Thai iced tea sweet, creamy, and the perfect drink to tie it all together.

“Very good Bahn Mi, excellent vegetarian options; they use shredded/marinated tofu and their bread is always fresh. Great meatball sandwiches too. Service is Ok; you have to order through a tablet but they will help out if you need. Not a sit down place; there’s a table outside but it’s best to take it to go.“

“I invited my sister for her birthday -- something light and savory, Pho and spring rolls (and a couple of Boba drinks). From the start, my how things have changed. I came here when they were starting out, and it was similar but not the same. There was a long line and a short wait -- service is fast, albeit a little frenetic and high volume ambient noise. But, I'm there to eat and that is what we did. Surprise! The spring rolls shrunk, still good, just not too plenty. But, overall, it is as good as I remember it when they opened many years ago! #TheBrokerWithAHeart“

“Best sandwich ever in Excelsior area ��� The bread is always crunchy and the meat is amazingly flavorful. My always choice is of course #6 grilled pork with well-seasoned meat and abundantly fresh veggies. #3 combination is also a should-try . It is what I believe the most traditional one. Besides these, a must-have is definitely Vietnamese ice coffee. It is made strong and sweet beautifully bringing me back the flavor which I always miss when being away from home. “This is my favorite food stand at Stonestown. Today I got.the Lunar New Year special which had two large rice cakes that had mung bean, topped with braised pork, sprouts and green onions. I also had my weekly porridge which is also outstanding. Definitely comfort food!“

“This Vietnamese restaurant is worth visiting. The food was savory and mouthwatering. We ordered phō of course, but also the viet time sampler, which includes four delicious items. It was not crowded and wasn’t loud. They have a TV screen showing the food being made, which was different but also entertaining for those of us who love the Food Network.
I cannot express enough how delicious the food was! I will surely be returning here. Enjoy 💕“

“Not bad for Daly City. The restaurant was mostly empty on a Monday evening. The menu has a big +$1 price adjustment on top. My Five Spice Chicken garlic noodles $16 tasted OK. The chicken was a bit dry. Luckily they have fish sauce on the side. The pickled vegetables were served on top of leave lettuce. The garlic noodles had a hint of butter and a mild garlic taste. The disappointing part was that some of the noodles would break apart due to them being flimsy. Service was fine as I received a water refill. I was left a bit hungry still and had to get some popcorn chicken and a Thai iced tea next door.“

“The food tasted OK at Little Vietnamese Bistro. There were two other parties when I ate here at 6pm on a Thursday night. Slow night. Food arrived shortly after I ordered. The chicken papaya salad $15 was drenched in fish sauce. It was a wet salad with a lot of nuts and shredded steamed chicken. The little pieces of crunchy dried garlic was a nice touch. It would have been nicer if there were more herbs like Thai Basil, cilantro or mint to make it more fragrant. The side of five spice chicken $7 looked dry, but it wasn't. It was juicy inside with a light coating of spices. At other restaurants, the skin can be rubbery. Little Viet Bistro cooked this correctly.
You can order in Chinese. The staff spoke fluent Cantonese to customers and Mandarin among themselves. Good job everyone at Little Viet Bistro.“

“Simply the best pho on the Peninsula! This is a very casual restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and staff and a video screen that shows authentic food preparation scenes from Vietnam. The service can at times be a little overwhelmed, because at dinner times they tend to be a little busy. But they are always pleasant and the food is fantastic and a good value at today's prices.“

“I’ve been to this restaurant awhile ago, almost a decade ago. Food was not good. So I never came back again. Swore I wouldn’t come back again.
I had been wanting Vietnamese food a few times now. I went to Pho Element, that place turned out not good at all. So I thought it’s been sooo long since I’ve been back here, I should give it another chance.
I got these to go:
- Bun Rieu (for me)
- Beef and tendon Pho (for the husband)
- and an appetizer, Banh Hoi Tom mia
All 3 dishes were surprisingly delicious! The noodles were separated from the broth and half cooked, which was awesome of them to do. That way, when I got home, I still had time to reboil the broth and they wouldn’t get soggy or stick together. I was able to fully cook the noodles with the reboiled broth. Tasted as if it were brought to me at the restaurant. So good!
The appetizer was also really good. They gave us a full bag of veggies, which was also awesome! Didn’t skimp!
Service, was as expected, mug faces. But that’s usually how it is. That does not bother me. As long as the food is good, I’m good!
Aside from mug faces, the food was ready for me as soon as I got there. Took me about 10 min to arrive. The person that helped me was nice. Before I paid, he said, “let me go check to make sure if your food is ready.” It was.
The person that took my order on the phone, was there as well. She said “thank you for coming.” That was nice.
I’m very happy that they stepped up their game. I’m definitely coming back again!

“Ordered the combo pork with pate,fancy pork,head cheese,ham,mayo,pickled carrot and onion. I also added jalapeño. “When you're not feeling too well, and need some hot and soupy goodness, try out this hole in a wall family restaurant that specializes in Vietnamese pho ga. It's chicken noodles. If you feel adventurous, go with the chicken and intestines, which is actually very small strips of chicken and thin sliced gizzards and liver. You also get your choice of regular pho that gives your mouth some springy chewing satisfaction, thin vermicelli style, or slurpy knife cut style noodles. Sticks to your ribs, clears your sinus and friendly to your wallet.
The place is not where I'll bring a first date. Bare bones wall, sounds echoing all over the place.
The service is brisk, but sufficient.
Only metered steet parking available and you will feel pretty lucky if you can find a spot within a block if this restaurant.“

Nuoc Mam dipping sauce with shredded carrots served on the side. Plenty of pork brochettes and imperial rolls. Volume of food is significant, and I couldn’t finish it by myself. Very yummy.

“This place serves authentic cuisine with delicious options. The dungeness crab in garlic and butter sauce was amazing. All the side dishes that come with it were tasty with my favorite being the garlic noodles. Mango and Coconut ice cream at the end was the perfect touch.
