“This is my FAVORITE chicken wings place! Their soy garlic is AMAZING and simply the best. I haven’t had anything as good. Yesterday I was so excited to take a friend from out of town here and upon arrival it was closed and shut down. I’m soooo very saddened by this. I’d really love to know where the chef went. I would go to their next place in a heartbeat. If someone knows, please comment! May their chef chicken wing recipe be shared with more bellies. ??“

“I was craving some Korean food and came here and it was GOOD! After we ordered through the QR code on the table, we got some banchan, which was okay. We then got some sort of soup and it was amazing. We ordered the seafood pancake (great), deluxe tteokbokki (amazing and super heavy), and bulgogi bibimbap (great). Would definitely return.“

“Went there with my friends, it was pretty good at serving especially the chicken glutinous rice soup was pretty tasty. The only reason that I leave one star blank is because they are very popular so that the waitresses are asking us to leave before our chat ends and we have to go to milk tea place to finish our conversation.“

“The best Korean food I’ve ever had in my life! Their beef stew exceeded my expectation so much, it was super flavourful and tender. The best thing about it was it was full of big chunks of meat, so it was definitely enough for 3 very hungry adults, no need to be shy about taking the meat from the pot into your bowl! We added the cheese for extra flavour and performance lol! Also, their kimchi had the right spice level and of course you can refill them! The staff were nice too. There was a queue but it was so worth it! 10/10 recommended. Next time we’ll come back and try something new.“

“Clean interior with polite employees, no problems whatsoever. I love getting the original fried chicken (the saucy ones are too saucy). The original is fried to a light crisp with subtle spiciness. Best part is the way their cut their bone-in chicken. It makes it super easy to eat.

Update: this time I tried the Soy Garlic wings... it was a 10/10 having the right amount of sauce, crisp, and lots of garlic flavor like I prefer. Great with beer.“

“It's a very busy restaurant, but the service is quick and courteous. The food is delicious with just the right size serving. If the prices were a little bit lower, it would be five stars. That being said, I still felt it was well worth the price of the food.“

“I actually love this place so much it's unreal.

The soup is hot and yummy, the sides are great and as far as I know are free refills, it comes with a free drink, and the workers are nice. Truly a hidden treasure, highly recommend you come here.“

“Food here is so yum. Place is small and clean w/ friendly staff. It's a self-seeking restaurant so you order at a kiosk and they'll bring out the food on a counter and you get your own disposable utensils/cups/trays. The price is really good, especially since I feel like good quality Korean restaurants tend to be $17+ a dish but here everything is pretty much either $13 or $14 which is really good. The portions don't LOOK huge but my two friends and I were full w/ some leftovers afterwards. We got the vegetarian jajangmyeon, rose tteokbokki, and soy sauce Korean fried chicken. All were very yummy and I recommend. Definitely want to come back here and eat more!“

“This is my go to place for jjajangmyeon. The noodle is always fresh and the sauce is perfect. Big portions as well. I have yet to try other dishes. It is always busy and has long waits on the weekend so come early. No reservations. It's first come, first serve. Good for families and friends. Kid friendly place too. The only gripe is that parking lot is small not a lot of parking space once it is full.“

“Food was absolutely good. Even better than some of restaurants in Korea! Server was very nice. We will for sure coming back. It was overall really great decision to go try seollungtang there.
Also I see lots of folks mentioning banchan is too simple but honestly you don’t need banchan except good radish kimch(깍두기) for seollungtang. If you need banchan for your soup then the restaurant is doing something wrong lol
Maybe they are keeping things too authentic for some folks! But yeah I’ll definitely coming back here!!!!“

“Tobang is a nice and tasty Korean BBQ place with a relaxed vibe. They offer set menus from $50 (with one meat choice) to $110 (with four meat choices). You get unlimited sides, and the kimchi is really crunchy and flavorful. The meat portions are big, and the service is friendly and welcoming. It’s good value for the money!“

“We went on a Sunday night, it was around 7:45pm when people had already dined and were leaving. We were immediately seated and greeted by their friendly staff! They have those little side dishes called bon chan and my favorite was the marinated potato. The bus boy was so good, kept checking in on us and super kind! I would totally go back. Service was excellent, food was pretty good and restaurant atmosphere is good for casual dining.“

@ricejunky.usa in Fremont is a take-out only spot that you can definitely get a bang for your buck! A great place for a quick grab and go, but still enjoying a high-quality meal. Everything is delicious we seriously recommend trying it all.

“Solid Korean pub-style food with all your usual favorites like seafood pancake, tteokbokki, and fried chicken! We also had the skewers and pork bulgogi bowl, nothing disappointed.

Although the chestnut makgeolli was sold out, we tried the melon flavor instead and it was really nice! Think they added some fresh aloe in there and I love when places do this so it’s not just the same as a bottle I could buy from the market. And I especially love when it comes in the urns or teapots that make it feel more authentic or like something you would find in Korea. The little touches like this is fun!

The service was really fast. You order from the table tablets which was convenient.“

“I absolutely loved the time I spent at this place. We did have a little bit of trouble with the tablet at first, but the staff came in and helped. I guess there’s a trick to it. After that it was smooth sailing! We just played all the songs on YouTube karaoke! It was SO MUCH FUN! We ordered food and drinks and everything came super fast! We’re definitely coming back! “We love finding hidden gems 💎, and @gangnamtofuhouse is definitely one in the city of Fremont!

They have the best banchan selections and everything is made from scratch so you know you’ll be getting a homey meal. We’ve never had bulgogi in our tteokbokki before and now we can’t think of having it any other way! It’s a small cosy restaurant

All the dishes were super comforting and the service is quick and friendly. You’ll be full, but leave wanting more because we definitely can’t wait to come back to try the other items!

They are also sister restaurant to @chachacha_fremont which is right next door so you can grab boba and dessert after. The best pairing and place to go so you don’t have to think of what to do next!

“Bob Sang Restaurant is a hidden gem near the Tesla plant in Fremont. So far, I've tried the Galbitang, Kimchi Jigae, Bulgogi, Spicy Pork, and the latest is Seoul Style Bulgogi – really great with very tender marinated beef – tasty!
Very friendly service with the small side dishes happily refilled. This restaurant has found its way into my list of regulars.“

Upd: forgot to mention a milk shakes, my favs strawberry with a real peaces of strawberry and vanilla - just a solid classic with a real ice cream.

Seafood pancake was thick, crunchy and can be shared with a group of 4 or more. For how much you got, there wasn't enough sauce to dip it in.

Grilled mackerel was my favorite. It wasn't too salty, crispy on the outside, and had good flavor. I was just disappointed that our plate was taken away, which still had a small piece left and wasn't asked if we were done with it.

We got the army stew and it was on the saltier side, which then got saltier once the broth dried up from the stove. It was spicy and had a nice kick. Flavor was good but it was just really salty. The small size was enough for a group of 4.

This doesn't feel like an authentic Korean restaurant. They don't see any alcohol like soju. Parking in this plaza can get crazy. With that said, I wouldn't make the extra effort in coming here.“

“Everything we had was tasty. The mussels dish was our favorite. Garlic noodle was also really good. The salmon mousse, we couldn’t really taste the salmon in it but it tasted fine. We also ordered catch of the day dish (not shown in picture), the fish was light and crispy but the kimchi fried rice it came with was lacking; it tasted more like lightly seasoned fried rice—couldn’t taste the kimchi. Overall, the presentation was great and taste was enjoyable.“

“We did take out—the chicken was still crispy 15 mins out so we can only imagine how good the texture would be if we had dined in. You can’t go wrong with original and soy garlic. “I recently moved to area and walk with kimmy to nearby park. Bibimbowl is on the route. So far try bento type box for lunch and tacos ?. Excellent!!! Service with a smile. The texture, flavor, the coldness of the noodle all in one bowl was absolutely delicious!!! You must try that dish when visiting here. I devoured that bowl of food. You are able to adjust the spicy level. I personally loved it without much spicy too it so it doesn’t over kill the flavor already in the bowl of ingredients. Perfect meal for warmer weathers but I enjoy cold stuff in cold weathers. Their kimchi fried rice was delicious too! “I love going to this place for lunch whenever I visit this area for work. The service is quick and food is fresh , healthy and delicious. I love their rice bowls with tofu and the tofu stew which is served with rice, jhapchae ( glass noodles) ,kimchi and pickled cucumbers. Do recommend their hot stone bowls .“

“I became a fan of Woomihome after the second visit! Friends recommended Woomihome and I finally got to try it. I saw that they have meal kits, pre-made hearty soups, and side dishes. So far we have had spicy and sweet chewy noodles, steamed shishi peppers, yeolmu kimchi and braised beef in soy sauce. Everything we tried was tasty and did not disappoint. Woomihome has excellent customer service and it looks like it has a great system in place. The side dishes might be a tad bit pricier compared to Korean markets, but I can see that their quality and freshness speak volumes!“

However, the restaurant is a bit expensive, so considering the price, it is not good value for money. I think the taste is a bit disappointing considering the price. “They serve excellent kimchi cabbage here. It tastes like it was made with squid or fish sauce and is rich in umami flavors. Delicious and addictive! The kimchi radish while flavorful was a bit too soft for my liking. There were only these two banchan available, so more variety would be nice. I also ordered the seolleongtang, which had thin slices of beef with a delicate texture. After moving from LA I was worried about how good Korean food would be in the Bay Area. Places like Kunjip puts my mind at ease and I know I can get all the classic dishes done right. Looking forward to trying the galbi jim next!“
