Both soup was rich and thick and the fried black garlic was fragrant. The pork slices were thick and soft. Have to say the ramen was tasty and satisfying, authentic to Japan. “From the street view you would never guess this cozy ramen spot was hiding back here. I’m so glad we have a Hinodeya in this side of the bay! The interior is so welcoming and nicely arranged. You order from your phone at your table, and the food comes out hot and fast.

I was pleasantly by the number of vegan options on the menu! The yuzu ramen was refreshing and so good. I would also recommend some soft serve if you’re craving a sweet treat. I would definitely come back here to try more.“

The owner lady was super friendly, and she makes the soup with pride. The price is not that expensive either. I will definitely come back!“

“This is the first time to dine in the restaurant. We ordered 3 items to share: a huge Omelette Rice, a curry rice and a ramen. Omelette rice was delicious, beef curry soup was different from others as it had only beef, no others. Ramen was also good. Good service, too.

“Had the vegan creamy ramen and it was delicious! Only complaint was that the vegetables and toppings were cold, as if they had just come out of the fridge. The thickness of the noodles was somewhere in between traditional ramen and udon. Their vegan broth rivals Marufuku’s, I think, but I prefer how Marufuku does their vegan ramen overall because the ingredients, both temperature- and texture-wise, meld together better.
I’ll try the other two vegan/vegetarian ramen options next time I come here.“

The tonkotsu ramen is amazing, tasty yet not-too-gravy broth, chewy noodles, refreshing sprouts and veggies, and on top of all, real good chashu pork, much unlike any bland pork slices elsewhere. Great service and fair price. Highly recommended, though do remember to reserve online prior to your arrival.

“pretty decent ramen inside of mitsuwa. we got the medium and it was actually a lot of food. broth was rich and noodles were good but i wish that there were a few more types of toppings on the ramen because it was quite meat heavy with large slabs of pork“

“Came here for dinner on a weekday evening and it was empty. The staff was super friendly and helped me decide what to order. I went with the grilled veggie curry and the veggie curry ramen. The curry itself was tasty, though the broccoli and peppers felt too raw. The ramen was okay but the broth felt diluted and the noodles didn’t soak up much of the flavor. Portions were on the smaller side for the price, so it didn’t feel like the best deal.“

The aburi shime saba is the best thing on the menu. It’s lightly poached and the caramelized sugar on top adds the perfect contrast of texture and flavor. I’ve been here a few times to try the appetizers, but the MUST GET item is still this saba.

Uzumakiya Udon: (4/5)
The Uzumakiya Udon is good，the noodles are chewy, not overcooked; and the broth is flavorful. The other toppings leave something to be desired, so if you want to be satisfied, order the Oxtail instead. (Although it’s gotten quite expensive😔）“
