It was excellent from the bits of jellies to plantains topped with one ice cream. A sweet meal!! Okay I had a side of mango cream bibinka cupcake. Haha“

“I went to a Starbread at a different location a few years ago and fell in love with the señiorita bread. I was in San Francisco for a few days and found out there was a Starbread here as well. I wanted to go back and get the bread that I remembered being so good. Well, this place did not disappoint! The señiorita bread was actually better here, it was fresh and sweet and buttery! Because I was traveling back home, I only got 10 for $6 however next time I will be getting a bigger box to bring back home!“

“I love this spot! My sister used to work here while I was growing up as well as a few friends while I was in my teens. It has always been a peaceful place to draw, read, catch up with a friend, and sip coffee with a snack. They have changed ownership a number of times and always retained good quality! From time to time a man will come in and play piano on the out of tune wooden one. Mostly 60s-early 80s music, he knows all the lyrics too! The landscape artwork by Pam Anderberg is really phenomenal and matches the coastal energy of the cafe. Couldn’t speak higher of a cafe in Pacifica!
The line can be a bit overwhelming on weekends if there is an event. When there was a running event I think it took 20 minutes to get a coffee and muffin.

Reducing a star because of a female barista here that gave terrible service. I asked if I could order two separate single shot espressos, instead of a double shot to which she responded “take your scam somewhere else this is a small business etc.” and generally took a harsh tone. I still ordered and just got a double shot. When I gave her cash for this, she tossed the change back across the counter from my purchase which slid onto the floor. This interaction has stuck with me as I’ve never had a problem visiting this cafe before. Anytime I see this barista behind the counter I decide I’ll just have coffee at home instead.“

“One of our weekly go to locations to get pastries after groceries shopping at Ranch 99. We normally get baked Pork Buns, Cream coconut bun, cocktail bun or egg tarts. We have also bought cakes here. Love the tiramisu, mocha cake and their fruit tart cake. Unlike other cakes, their cakes are not sweet and doesn’t have too much whipped cream. Love it.“

I went there today and the workers are busy with some sort of delivery, but even then they were able to help me with what I need. “1960.... Dad received a position at the bakery when we moved to the States. Everyone there spoke German. As a little, we'd visit, I was so shy I hid behind dad. We always stopped in the office and my brother and I were given paper bakery hats to wear. The owners, the Wedemeyers and staff were so friendly. I loved seeing the huge mixers and the wonderful smell of fresh bread. They even had an old fashioned cola machine. I've visited each time I return to our hometown. Many fond memories of so many family friends that have all passed. Wedemeyers, Meyers, Heinz, Swat, Luneberg. Thank you for continuing a great family business.“

“My family loves going to Manila Oriental. Whenever I don't want to go in with them, I like going in here. The store is clean and always has freshly made pastries and goodies.
It has the standard staples like bbq pork buns, egg tarts, and sesame balls, to name a few. I like that it is a no frills bakery and it is reasonably priced. People who work here are nice and tell me about any other fresh seasonal items they have. You can't really ask for more, just be warned if you come later in the afternoon, most of the items might be sold out“

“Went to Farmette Bakery for the Cinnamon Rolls, the owner was sweet enough to wait for us even though we were arriving past her closing hours. The brown butter pumpkin chocolate chip cookie was delicious and soft. The brown butter crispy rice bar was delicious, the marshmallow was chewy & the rice was still crispy. Our favorite was the cinnamon rolls, the icing was exceptional! There was actual vanilla bean on the frosting and the cinnamon roll was perfectly spiced! Highly recommend Farmette Bakery!“

He gives u a bill the guys in the warehouse find the frieght and load it with forklifts. Forklifts and loading dock. I love that! Frieght is super heavy. Grain is super heavy.“

“Thanksgiving 2025 went to pick up ham the day before Thanksgiving at 7:30AM. As expected there was a brief line, although early and some confusion about the line, even though there was only one line. I remember the employee from last year (when I made the mistake of picking up the ham day before Thanksgiving at 5:30PM never again). An employee came out (older black man with pretty green eyes) and was doing his best to announce the difference of lines pre-paid versus reservation/non pre-paid. What can I say, people just don’t listen but he came out periodically to ensure any new customers in the line knew which line. The wait was about 15min in the pre-paid line to pick up ham. The staff allowed me to pick up 2 sweet 12-ct Hawaiian roll bags. The ham was gooooddddd!!!!“

(BUYER BEWARE) don't get too excited, this location doesn't take discounts from their apps.I wish I could give them ONE STAR, the 5 ⭐ is to support young adults who need a job.We need kids to be independent and start working and I'd recommend a job in a mall ,safe ,mall hours and busy.In the near future I hope this location honors all app coupons or discounts or lower their prices. Too expensive I'd never buy here if I knew another location closer who honors the apps coupon's and discounts.I can see this place closing down in a few more years if they don't act now .
