“Get the Portuguese / Hong-Kong Style Egg Tarts. It is the flagship item in the store. It tasted like a master pastry chef has been perfecting it for decades. Crust is buttery flakey and the filling hits every note on your palate. Additionally, I also got a Pineapple bun and Steam Bun with Black Sesame. I wished the bun was a little fluffier on the inside and the black sesame bun had more even distribution of the black sesame paste for the size of the bun. Service was great and hospitable on a busy Saturday morning. I look forward to trying more items from the bakery. Please make sure to bring cash for any purchase under $15 to help the business with credit card fees.“

If you are vegetarian you are fine but if you are vegan is way more complicated as the dishes don't have a clear list of ingredients and the salsas are a mistery, they just bring to the table with no explanation. The allegedly vegan soup have some ghee butter flavor.

“I went to a Starbread at a different location a few years ago and fell in love with the señiorita bread. I was in San Francisco for a few days and found out there was a Starbread here as well. I wanted to go back and get the bread that I remembered being so good. Well, this place did not disappoint! The señiorita bread was actually better here, it was fresh and sweet and buttery! Because I was traveling back home, I only got 10 for $6 however next time I will be getting a bigger box to bring back home!“

“Found this place looking for Filipino food on Google maps. What a unique little cafe! the bibingka style cupcakes are really yummy. The dough is very soft, moist, and spongy, quite different from your typical cupcake. Lots of delicious flavors to choose from, and they make them fresh daily. We really appreciated they are overly sweet, while the flavors still stand out. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Ube coffee we had. The next day we went back to get a whole box for the whole family, it was a hit!“

“One of our weekly go to locations to get pastries after groceries shopping at Ranch 99. We normally get baked Pork Buns, Cream coconut bun, cocktail bun or egg tarts. We have also bought cakes here. “My family loves going to Manila Oriental. Whenever I don't want to go in with them, I like going in here. The store is clean and always has freshly made pastries and goodies.
It has the standard staples like bbq pork buns, egg tarts, and sesame balls, to name a few. I like that it is a no frills bakery and it is reasonably priced. People who work here are nice and tell me about any other fresh seasonal items they have. You can't really ask for more, just be warned if you come later in the afternoon, most of the items might be sold out“

I went there today and the workers are busy with some sort of delivery, but even then they were able to help me with what I need. I thought I have to wait for a while for the food to be ready, but surprisingly the food came in very fast despite them being busy. No time wasted, great customer service. “1960.... Dad received a position at the bakery when we moved to the States. Everyone there spoke German. As a little, we'd visit, I was so shy I hid behind dad. We always stopped in the office and my brother and I were given paper bakery hats to wear. The owners, the Wedemeyers and staff were so friendly. I loved seeing the huge mixers and the wonderful smell of fresh bread. They even had an old fashioned cola machine. I've visited each time I return to our hometown. Many fond memories of so many family friends that have all passed. Wedemeyers, Meyers, Heinz, Swat, Luneberg. Thank you for continuing a great family business.“

“Chain bakery with a lot of selection of sweets and drinks. You can spend a few hours here with the open air space.

One minus is the online order. They don’t seem to pay attention to online order. I ordered coffee for pick up 45mins before the desired pick up time. By the time I arrive, not only they don’t have the coffee ready they also have to check the order and make it 10mins after the pick up time.
It’s not during a peak time. Very inefficient operation could use some more attention.“

“I was dreading picking up my turkey and ham 2 days before the holiday, but it was a very pleasant experience. I ordered online - walked in and saw 2 lines. One line was for the pre-order and the other line was for walk in. I was the 2nd person in line and was greeted by a sweet young woman who scanned my order and brought me my 2 turkeys and 1 ham. She was sweet, proficient and professional. Great location with plenty of parking too :)
I wish I would have gotten her name so you can recognize this young lady but maybe you can figure it out by my order number 304411609.

“Went to Farmette Bakery for the Cinnamon Rolls, the owner was sweet enough to wait for us even though we were arriving past her closing hours. The brown butter pumpkin chocolate chip cookie was delicious and soft. The brown butter crispy rice bar was delicious, the marshmallow was chewy & the rice was still crispy. Our favorite was the cinnamon rolls, the icing was exceptional! There was actual vanilla bean on the frosting and the cinnamon roll was perfectly spiced! Highly recommend Farmette Bakery!“

He gives u a bill the guys in the warehouse find the frieght and load it with forklifts. Forklifts and loading dock. I love that! Frieght is super heavy. Grain is super heavy.“

It looks deceiving as one may assume it could be very sweet. However, it is the perfect balance of sweet with a hint of salt. Just a dream to enjoy. The chocolate croissant is also delicious and even has a creamy interior filling which was a pleasant surprise. Knocking off a star for higher prices (their cakes are very expensive) and some staff that aren’t as kind or friendly up front.“
