“A beautiful morning at Crystal Cove...7AM reservation at a table with great views of the ocean and our smiling server, Oscar, welcoming us with strong hot coffees & cream. Perfect. I enjoyed a typical breakfast that was perfectly prepared to my order: poached eggs, extra crispy potatoes & bacon with rye toast and blackberry jam. My lovely partner was overwhelmed by the tasty gigantic "Savory Spinach & Mushroom Crepe". It would easily feed two people. Oscar was very attentive and often stopped by with more hot coffee. Delightful.“

“Nice place - horrible service. We became that forgotten table of 2. Nothing was done without us asking from the bread service which they never finished to getting drinks. When someone came but they through the item on the table and walked off. No asking about empty drinks or taking no longer needed plates. The manager finally came over at the end and comped a desert. We were not looking for that, we had given up by then. The food was great!“

“As a vegan, SubVegan filled the void of missing easily accessible deli subs. Our sandwiches were both very good and filled with fresh veggies, meats, and cheeses. The person working was very kind, and our sandwiches came out quickly. It was an excellent stop for us while on a road trip, but we are jealous of those who live nearby!“

“Selanne Steak Tavern is a fantastic dining destination with exceptional service and an impressive menu that never disappoints. My wife and I recently visited to celebrate a special occasion with our son and his new wife. The flavors were outstanding as always. The 12-Year Aged Ribeye was incredibly tender and full of rich, deep flavors that are hard to find elsewhere. Paired with their Lobster Mashed Potatoes, which were creamy and packed with chunks of succulent lobster, it made for an unforgettable meal. The Mac and Cheese, a perfect blend of creamy cheese and perfectly cooked pasta, is another favorite that we can't resist ordering every time.

While the food and most of the service were top-notch, we were a bit let down by the handling of our celebration. Despite informing the staff that we were there to celebrate our son and his wife's recent marriage, the waiter and maître d' did not make any special effort to acknowledge the occasion, which was a missed opportunity to elevate the experience.

Overall, Selanne Steak Tavern remains one of our go-to places for a great steak and an elegant dining experience. A bit more attention to customer requests would make this place perfect, but it's still highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a high-quality meal.“

“Really love this restaurant! Last night was our second visit and every dish was excellent! The outstanding quality of the ingredients stands out in all of the preparations! We started with a peaches/burrata salad and it did not disappoint! Flavorful peaches, high quality burrata and beautiful greens! We had the mushroom risotto for the second time and...perfectly cooked and deep mushroom flavor! The tagliata was also perfectly cooked - al dente pasta in a rich and delicious sauce. And, the branzino (again second time) was over the top fabulous! Honestly a dish Lemon & Thyme does EXTREMELY well! The ambiance is absolutely lovely! Warm and comfortable and the service and staff could not be better! If you haven't been to Lemon & Thyme make a res and go! You won't be disappointed!

“Get yourself a brownie and peanut butter and jelly bar for fewer calories than a burrito bowl (if their nutrition labels are to be believed). These are my 2 favorites — fudgy, moist, and with a decent amount of protein. If you are going to get their mini donuts or cake, be prepared for them to be pretty dense as well, and not a typical cakey texture. They use ingredients like coconut oil, protein powder, and nut flours for the base of their treats, so although they may not be super healthy tasting, they do tend to have that healthy kind of ‘vegan cookie’ texture. Pricey, but worth it!“

“We had high hopes coming to Olea, but alas we were disappointed. Location/Ambiance: Westcliff Plaza and small with a large bar at the front, the layout leaves little space for tables. We sat in a snug booth alongside the windows with a view of Susie Cakes next door. The decor is warm and modern. Food: Subpar! Burnt bread but delicious whipped butter. Butter lettuce and Goat cheese salad was bland with a basic dressing. Mac and cheese skillet was good but nothing amazing. Filet was dry with overdone gluey mashed potatoes, and underdone broccolini. Halibut was pan seared to a dry mess with an inedible coating, bland steamed seasonal vegetables of cauliflower, carrots, and broccoli as a side. Service: Friendly and Fake, if you enjoy watching servers walk away from your table talking about how "picky and difficult you are" this is a perfect spot. My Mother has dietary restrictions and we are specific to ensure a safe dining experience, it's sad when that's met with disdain. Overall: We won't be back!“

You do not go in the mall itself to get to the restaurant, it has doors to it on the outside. Drive around the mall building until you see the restaurants name.

The MalaTang here is genuinely the best I’ve had, it’s so rich and flavorful that, for the first time, I finished the entire bowl.
