“A beautiful morning at Crystal Cove...7AM reservation at a table with great views of the ocean and our smiling server, Oscar, welcoming us with strong hot coffees & cream. Perfect. I enjoyed a typical breakfast that was perfectly prepared to my order: poached eggs, extra crispy potatoes & bacon with rye toast and blackberry jam. My lovely partner was overwhelmed by the tasty gigantic "Savory Spinach & Mushroom Crepe". It would easily feed two people. Oscar was very attentive and often stopped by with more hot coffee. Delightful.“

“This spot was actually recommended by my wife after she saw a TikTok about their breakfast burrito, so naturally we had to try it. We went specifically for the breakfast burrito and the first thing that shocked me was the price it was about $23 which honestly is wild for a burrito and that was definitely an initial turnoff. Size wise it is pretty much your standard breakfast burrito nothing massive or over the top so from that standpoint alone I would say it is not really worth the price, especially when you can get something similar elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. That said I do have to give credit where it is due because the flavor was really really good. The ingredients felt high quality and clean which you can tell they care about. The potatoes were cooked perfectly crispy on the outside soft on the inside the eggs were solid and the avocado was a nice touch. The cheddar cheese was not overpowering at all. The main protein was wild venison which definitely explains the price and honestly, that is where most of the flavor came from. It was juicy tender and surprisingly flavorful and that part impressed me the most. Overall, I would say it tastes great and the ingredients are solid but for $23 it is hard to justify as a consistent go to spot. Worth trying once especially if you are curious about the venison burrito but probably not something I would come back for regularly just because of the price.“

Our server Jacob asked to reopen their kitchen just to make us some dessert even though it was after hours. “I have been here a total of two times and it was enough to get me hooked. The first time I tried the patty melt with the bacon ranch fries and a snickerdoodle melt and aside from the nacho cheese on the fries (I prefer cheddar is all), all I can say is YUM 😋 Then the second time I had the spicy crispy chicken sandwich with garlic parm fries and a vanilla melt and oh. my. lanta is that sandwich aptly named. I have NEVER had something so perfectly crispy before 🤯 the fries were good, but a tad oily due to the seasoning for my liking and the vanilla melt was tasty. It's a but pricy, but I joined the rewards program and they seem to offer a lot of goodies.

The staff has also been pleasant each time I've gone which only helps enhance the experience.

I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“
