“My brother and I had the most amazing night of superb jazz and food this past Sunday, entertained by Betty Bryant and ensemble. Her fingers moved like liquid gold on the keyboard and her compositions were witty and mesmerizing. The word that kept coming to mind as they performed was "subtle." The music was powerful, but so discrete as to be gentle and gentile. Woodwinds, Bass, and Drums - all played with the kind of delight that makes everyone love the performers as well as the music. As for food, one dish stood out particularly: the creamed spinach with blue cheese. Please tell Chef I would love that recipe! I'm back home in Tennessee now and plan to attempt to copy it, but having the authentic recipe to serve to friends when we entertain would be over the top! Can't wait to visit my brother in LA again and return to Herb Alpert's Vibrato Grill, Jazz, Etc. Just wow! And Thank You!“

While I have not been in person, Brandon - the manger was so kind and helped me send drinks to my friends on my behalf who were celebrating their marriage there. He even sent me a video from his personal phone showing my friends enjoying their drinks. Next time I'm in LA, I will one hundred percent come here to enjoy the food, atmosphere, and service! “It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday. Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy! Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes. If there is ever something you want to bring back to the menu I would highly suggest the sliders, they were missed for sure lol! Looking forward to dining again here, soon. Cheers! ✨💖🥂“

“The Hammer is one of my favorite LA Museums, and I always love to stop in at Lulu’s for a bite to eat, the 3-course meal, or just a cappuccino (at the bar.) The food is inventive and delicious, featuring local produce. The courtyard setting is quiet, yet festive with the murmur of conversations below stringed lighting. Service is perfect.“

“Such a beautiful and amazing place! the food was superb and the service was top-notch. The only downside is that it gets crowded and even though we had a reservation we had to wait for 15 minutes. Overall, I recommend visiting at least once!“

The chairs sink into the sand so much that you're at an uncomfortable level to the table unless you weigh anything under 100 pounds. “

“EXCELLENT experience!!! We went here for my birthday dinner and not only was the food delicious and fresh, but the service was INCREDIBLE. We ordered one small drink, the burrata, meatballs, and tagliatelle, and our waitress (Kristin?) also brought us a comped cauliflower just because she wanted us to try her favorite thing. I forgot names, so sorry, but we interacted with a hostess, our main waitress, and another girl who were all so sweet and kind. They also ended up bringing us out an extra penne dish (not pictured). My daughter ordered the seasonal sorbet (peach-blood orange), and then they also brought me out a scoop of housemade vanilla ice cream to top off my birthday celebration. The service we received was really spectacular.
