“I ordered a chicken burrito and it was really good, the food me and my party ordered was good :) the owner provided great service he even asked if we wanted extra chips, the ambience was relaxed even though its a small location. Check it out and ask for the chicken burrito it was pretty good.“

“What a very sweet, cozy, farm house European style restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. We ordered the tomato bisque soup as a starter. We like our soup piping hot which this was. And, so tasty.We shared the salmon burrito with a side of roasted potatoes. I can’t say enough about how delicious the burrito tasted. “After visiting Hijo de su Madre several times for their award winning and phenomenal Yucetecan vegan greatness I was quite excited when I saw on their IG they were adding a vegan burger menu. It just launched a few days ago, but is already my favorite burger (got the Phat Hass Burger) in LA and I have had them all. Even more profoundly, they have the best loaded frots I’ve ever had by a landslide! “I knew it was going to be fire from the crumb of smoked fried chicken breading I had from my bf's plate. I had to take a moment to prepare myself. The fried chicken was so expertly seasoned and crispy. I got the 3 meat combo, pretty reasonably priced for the amount of meat I got. The sauce is awesome and the meat is juicy and tender. I had to take my nose ring off cause I was so serious about this BBQ. Cornbread is so soft and fluffy and tastes like something your grandma made. The writing on the bricks from people all over were not lying. Nice people behind the counter and great vibe. Best food I've had in El Segundo.“

“These cookies are worth the stop when in La area. We had seen many vlogs and mentions on IG about these Amazing cookies!! We had bought more than a few and the ones we tried were really good and tasty. Brown Butter and the Apple Tartine with fresh Apple were good. I had also tried the Birthday confetti cookie. They said the Cloud 9 had nuts as well as the Mexican wedding cookie, but everything was good. The workers here are pretty informative and very nice. There is also vegan options as well. When I say, Troy was on the phone with me for about 30 minutes until we worked out the right package for my 60th birthday party, he was very patient and the rest is history. The service was superb from beginning to end, with little to no supervision. They came in found the perfect space for set-up and it was on and popping. “This will be the third time we have used Nana's Kitchen. So clearly, we love what they do. The food is fantastic, a step up from your normal taco caterer, and we loved the passed appetizers while the guests were arriving. They set up a beautiful buffet spread and used gorgeous bowls. Everything was fresh and delicous. They homemade the tortillas and served delicious guacomole, again homemade. The servers were ontime, self sufficant and cleaned up after themselves. They boxed up all of the leftovers for us which was really nice.The only negative I could find, and you just need to know, is that beyond the food/catering fee (minimum of $650 for 40 people) they charge a travel fee, a convenience fee to use a credit card, and a 18% service fee which is NOT gratuity. So ontop of the food, you will need to expect to pay about 40 % more on the charges (your own tip to the servers, their 18% service fee and travel fee and of course tax). They are transparent about it, but something you should know. With that being said, I would still use them again.“

“This review is for Maria's Italian Kitchen on Pico in West LA. The food is always good or excellent. If Robert is our server, the service is always good or impeccable. This review speaks to the bread service. Maria's used to provide their table bread free of charge, and you could order as many baskets as you wanted. Now the bread is $1 per order which doesn't bother me much, as the economy for restaurants is a bit tight now and they have to cover their spoilage costs if they automatically serve bread and it gets wasted. What does bother me is that the bread is quite often not ready when it's ordered. They often tell me that "the bread is now in the oven." This causes the bread to come with the food. The bread should be ready before the meal, not with the meal. What if I'm ordering a sandwich? Why would I want bread with a sandwich? Come on Maria's - think about that. Thank you for your consideration.“

“Having eaten there many years ago, I took a couple of friends for a special b'day dinner...boriqua style! Even though we had to wait for our table (we had a rez), we spent time talking out on their sidewalk patio. Once seated, I explained the background of traditional PR dishes (being puertoriqueño myself) and made recommendations for appetizers and main course. They were blown away by the flavors and variety! I stopped by today 4/16 around 4 pm on what is their busiest day and the employees (1 young woman & 3 young men) were so quick, very kind and smiling!
