“Not sure how I haven’t left a review here yet—this is my go-to sushi spot in the area. I always start off with the spicy garlic edamame and calamari, both great appetizers. Depending on the day, if you order a beer you sometimes get a free fried corn poppers appetizer, which is actually surprisingly good.

My usual go-to rolls are the Hungry Roll and Samurai Roll, but honestly everything I’ve tried here has been solid. Service is always good as well.”

The food was delicious and authentic. We loved the fresh ceviche, flavorful mains with tender meats and handmade tortillas, plus strong, zesty margaritas. Generous portions and fresh ingredients throughout.
What stood out most was Mari Lou’s incredible service. She was friendly, attentive, and made perfect recommendations with a genuine smile. She made us feel like VIPs from start to finish!

“Decided to try this restaurant and there were pros and cons with my food choices. 1) Pollo a la braza was amazingly seasoned and delicious, would come come back for it 2) Salad was a good sized plate, would order again 3) plantains were not good, they were green; tasted horrible 4) the Picarones were okay, but it was my 1st time eating them. I wouldn’t definitely not order them again.”

“Don Monchis is excellent. Fresh food, fast service once seated, and very helpful staff. We had the ceviche, cocktail, and aguachile platter plus shrimp tacos, and everything was great. The shrimp tacos were easily some of the best I’ve ever had — definitely top 3 mariscos spots for me.

Just a warning: this place is popular and there was about a 1-hour wait, but the food was worth it.”

“This is always a great spot for a quick lunch bite when craving Hawaiian Food.

Its a small business privately owned and service is always good here. Ambience is not much to write about - its functional and good for a quick lunch bite. They've have got a few small tables to grab a quick lunch and food is in the mark.

My goto dishes here are Garlic Shrimp Plate, Chicken Katsu and Beef BBQ. Can't go wrong withe either of these.

“I Stumbled upon this place not long ago gives me Jamba juice vibes but with a twist. Their smoothies are freshly made served with its fruits so good perfect if you're trying to grab something healthy. The fruit touch puts these drinks on another level they have many other items that I would like to try. Definitely going back, this is a solid recommendation.”

“Truly an adorable spot to grab some bomb cultured food. Its like stepping into a villa in sinaloa. When you walk in the door the nicest women will greet you in Spanish eager to take your order. The food was truly awesome. Had a chorizo potato breakfast burrito and it was truly a real Mexican breakfast burrito. They were even nice enough to throw in chips and salsa with the meal. Very clean and fresh ingredients.”

“20 out of 10! Shrimp taco and the big marisco plate! The owner hooked it up! Guicho is a super friendly dude! The taco and drink were on him! He brings the Mariscos fresh Tijuana every 2 days! I eat mariscos 24/7. This dude knows mariscos!

“Came here to pick up some pastries from too good to go, ended up leaving with a hefty box of pastries and AN AMAZING TURKEY SANDWICH!!! The bread was wonderfully toasted, the tomato was juicy, and all of the ingredients went together perfectly. I may have devoured it with my boyfriend before getting pictures 👉👈 overall, I look forward to coming back here. Can’t wait to try their drinks :)”

“The Habit Grill in Paramount Ca is the best location to eat at. It always clean and no long wait times. The Manager Juan sure does manage the restaurant to its satisfaction. The habit is my favorite restaurant to enjoy with my family.”

“Visiting from NM. Found this on Google. Was craving a tostada. Had a fresh shrimp tostada was delicious. Also a crab and shrimp tostada just as good. With glass bottle sodas options. Restroom is really clean, only drawback the server was on the phone took a while to check out. Was waiting on her to get off the phone when someone walked in and she started to take care of them. I wasn't in a hurry but a little annoyed. But over all good experience wish I could go back.”

“Been Coming here for years! Same staff as always. Workers are always friendly. Not once have they ever been rude to me. Food Taste great! They updated their orange chicken and even added more items to the menu. Great Presentation, taste and good portions. There really isn’t anything negative to say about this place. Sure maybe some people go right before they close and the food isn’t fresh at that hour but lets be real. Try this place out.”

“Stopped by for some comfort food and I was not disappointed! The portions are huge, enough for 2 people. We ended up getting the la torta chingona, tacos de papa, the carnitas plate, birria en su jugo, and the carne asada/chorizo fries! Prices are very decent. My only complaint: there's no parking what so ever, unless you park on the side alley thats next to this fondita! Totally worth your trip!
Update: this place definitely changed ownership. The food is different. As much as the new owner/s tried to keep it the same, the taste of the food is very different. However, the food is still decent and the employees are very welcoming!”

“The location was staffed by two people when I walked in, seemed kind of slow for them and they were excellent in providing quick and easy service to place my order. I ordered a large pizza supreme and 6 piece wings. It took 15 minutes-ish to get my pizza.The pizza was actually really good, the ingredients ratio was spot on, good crust and underbelly on the pizza, just enough sauce to give that savory taste but not too much so that it makes the pizza soggy. The dough was also delicious. The wings were not my favorite but we’re not bad.Overall, good experience and great food. 9.5/10 would come back.”

I believe my family and went here when it was owned by Tacos Raul but tacos El Giyo is hands down better than King Taco King Taco is stingy as hell. Unlike this place you are free to get as much hot sauce without them looking like it comes out of their paycheck like in king taco.

“Order 3 shrimp coctels. They usually consist of avocado for this dish, the register staff asked if I wanted avocado, me without been told that it would be an additional $2.50 for a piece of avocado.. misinformed the customer just to add an additional fee.”

“Actually so yummy. I parked nearby thinking I was going to try a different taco place, but the truck wasn't there that day. There were some local men just chilling at their truck in the lot, so we asked them if they recommended a taco spot, and they recommended Tacos Giyo which was within walking distance. I got the tostada de ceviche, which was literally a whole tray of shrimp and 2 tostada shells, and 1 cabeza taco. When it came out the window, I was literally shocked at how much food I got for the price. It was all under $8, and it couldn't get any better than this honestly. The flavors and balance were great, the staff were nice, the generosity in the volume of food, and the prices were amazing. The cabeza was wonderful--the perfect tender fatty meat 💜. I'll be back if I'm ever in the area again!
