“One of the BEST burger stands in the LA area. Family-friendly, super interesting people from all over Los Angeles county, great DJ's playing classics of every genre. The classic burger with onions and cheese is amazing, but the mushroom and Swiss comes in at a close second. They even have vegetarian options for the non-meat eaters. It only opens up like once a month though, so you definitely have to follow them on social media and get there when the getting is good!!!“

“Comfortable and easy to get to, The Mixx has great folks taking care of you - the best bartender in all of SoCal, Carlos, who will mix you any concoction (the drinks menu is quite extensive and Carlos does not disappoint). Owner Ed is always around to make sure you have a great time, too. Food is quite good (sweet potato fries is a personal favorite). And there is always some entertainment going on: comedy wednesdays (free!), tuesday salsa, live music on weekends. It’s a great place to hang and watch the game (we were there for Super Bowl) or just cill and enjoy music and the vibes.“

“Honestly love when we get to go here. The food is fantastic. The hospitality is so kind. The whole place is such a vibe and lovely people. We had the friend chicken and the shrimp and grits. We got the gumbo and biscuits to go so we could have them for breakfast the next morning.“

“It may seem petty - but for what seemed to be fine dining the table was poorly set and with paper napkins. Our server was pushing the special and when the lady next to me ordered the chicken (which I had planned to order), he tried to talk her out of it saying you could get a dish like that anywhere. When it came my turn, I said “Please don't try to talk me out of the Brick Chicken!” He didn't say a word.“

SPAGHETTI IS BETTER THAN THE SPAGHETTI AT UNION. Reminds me of an NYC restaurant - really nice, low key and GREAT food. Very comfortable. The server was a total dork - super nice, unpretentious and funny, asked me if I trust her twenty seconds after we met (I bet she plays Tetris). The music had no F’s left to give in the best way possible - definitely heard some Jefferson Starship in there and one of those songs that could be Chicago or REO Speedwagon. Will come back 1000 times - so glad this place exists.“

“Love this place. Is there food something I could make myself? Yes, probably. But you can't beat getting a healthy, well rounded meal, and their prices are so reasonable. And being dairy and soy free is also amazing. Seriously where else these days can you get a full meal for only $10 that isn't garbage for you?“

“The entire experience was flawless and a wonderful way to celebrate Thanksgiving. The whole team, including the manager, were gracious and attentive. And, the meal was the best I've had all year out of all the fine restaurants I've dined at in both Orange and LA county. The bread was freshly baked, warm out of the oven and we had the endive salad, sea bass and the lamb. Highly recommend considering this spot!“

“We’ve always been big Dog Haus fans. This location was always a bummer though with one infamous staff member who consistently had zero customer service skills. I left some poor feedback after a particularly awful experience earlier this year. Months later, I got a message that that individual was no longer with DH, taking accountability for the situation, and offering us a free meal for our trouble. And they came through on the promise! Really impressive customer service and appreciated by our family. The Hill location is officially back in the rotation!“

“After 10 years, I finally revisited Hot Wings Café in Pasadena, and I was happily surprised by the experience. The place has been remodeled to a more modern look. Although I felt the previous look had more personality, the new vibe is still great.

My partner and I were warmly greeted by the staff. I'm not sure what other reviewers were referring to when they mentioned poor staff behavior, but our experience on a Sunday evening was the opposite. Our waitress was very friendly, and we noticed other staff members quickly cleaning tables and making sure they were spotless for the next guests. The floor was also clean, adding to the overall pleasant environment.

The wings were slightly smaller than I remembered, but that's expected nowadays in most restaurants. We also got fried zucchini and curly fries, and they were fantastic! Everything tasted amazing. They also provided plenty of napkins and a moist towelette to clean our hands after enjoying the wings.

Overall, Hot Wings Café remains a great spot for delicious wings. Even after a decade, I still enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

“Fernando has been our server for many yrs. He almost family. He serves you like you were visiting him at home. The sweetest man. He remembers everything, like I'll have my coffee when the meal comes. He and I speak the same language as far as when he comes with the coffee he wants me to put the cream and sugar first before he pours. We laugh over that because we both agree if you put the cream in last it cools the coffee down. I know how difficult it can be serving people because I was a Flight Attendant for 50 yrs. And my Husband & I treat servers with the most respect. We can't say enough about Fernando. Most attentive. We just love him. It's funny when we go in we ask where Fernando is and the hostess will say he's inside today and we wish to sit out in the patio. I'll ask her to just tell him we are here and he will always come outside to serve us. He has met my Son & Daughter in Law & my best friends. We took them for Brunch while she was pregnant, now we take our Granddaughter to Teddy Bear Tea. She's a Langham Girl since before she was born. Our only wish is that they would bring back the Brunch pre Covid. The best brunch in the city. Now it's nothing like is was. It was unbelievable. Diane & Lon Handelsman“

“4 of us ate at the new Craft at LA Live but I can't find it here so recommending them on the Pasadena location. This was the second night they had been open last Saturday. Service was outstanding. Judy did a terrific job taking care of us and the head chef and owner cam by to welcome us. Food was outstanding too. Great place.“
