“My experience working with Joliet for a recent 50-person dinner event was absolutely stellar. From start to finish, the planning process was incredibly easy and stress-free.

First off, the venue itself is simply beautiful. Located inside Free Market at Runway Playa Vista, it offers a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere that was perfect for our group. Beyond the aesthetics, the owners are truly amazing. They were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our event a success, including building a menu from scratch to fully meet our event needs. Their passion for what they do shines through in every interaction.

When it came to the evening's offerings, Joliet truly delivered! The dinner food was incredibly yummy, with a diverse and delicious menu that catered to various tastes and dietary needs. Our group raved about the quality and presentation of every dish. The open bar was also a huge hit, with a fantastic selection of cocktails and beverages that kept everyone in great spirits throughout the evening.

Finally, the day-of logistics were flawlessly executed. The team at Joliet handled every detail with professionalism and efficiency, from the dinner service flow to ensuring the bar ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy the event without a single worry.

We had an amazing brunch experience at Hash. The food was absolutely delicious—every bite was perfection! Connie, the manager, went above and beyond to make our visit special. Her positive attitude and helpfulness truly made our time there so pleasant. The area is also really nice, with a great vibe for enjoying a meal. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Such a beautiful and amazing place! the food was superb and the service was top-notch. The only downside is that it gets crowded and even though we had a reservation we had to wait for 15 minutes. Overall, I recommend visiting at least once!“

“Really amazing and very good food. I was a table of one and was able to sit down within 15 minutes compared to usual hour long wait.

I got the HK style french toast, very sweet and more of a dessert but it was amazing nonetheless. Second item i got was the cold sesame noodle (no chicken) and i’ve never had this amazing dish before and it was life changingly good.

Funny story but they threw away my food while i was in the bathroom for two minutes but they apologized and gave me a free meal to go and pastry. I didn’t care that much but happy they fixed an error!

“Open Market catered a wedding reception I was coordinating in October, and they were wonderful. Their restaurant is one of the bride's favorites, and they were great. The food is delicious, and I'm working on getting my husband over there soon. They couldn't have been more accommodating and flexible during the planning, and they were straight pros at the reception. As a planner, I love caterers that are easy to work with and easy for my couple's to work with, and it was a great experience for everyone.

“Can’t wait to come back for a positive review after my first be bright pour-over as I think I had the best bean in North America and haven’t had a good quality of Geisha for long time.
I dropped by for a cold brew and grabbed a bag of “unique & surprising” to go and the barista shared a small cup of its cold brew for me to taste. I am glad i have tried because it was really surprised by its freshness and flavor and almost wanted to have another large cup of coffee if it’s not my first drink at that day of arrival after a 5 hr flight without a full meal😿
I followed the brew guide on the website but have cut half of the size and still get the same profile as I have had for cold brew.
I will definitely come back for other coffee drinks next time🙌

“If you’re reading this, here’s the short version: this is easily one of the best restaurants in Culver City, and you need to try it now!

It’s a small spot in downtown Culver City that you could walk past without noticing. I’m glad I didn’t. There are a couple of tables outside, but most of the seating is indoors. The space is modern, clean, and relaxing.

We ordered three dishes, all recommended by our waiter. The mussel toast is a must. Every bite is savory and packed with seafood flavor. For mains, we had the short rib and rainbow trout. The short rib was perfection. Cooked over fire and served with crispy potato strings. It’s something you get at high-end steakhouse but at half the price. The rainbow trout looked beautiful and tasted fresh, though the citrus was a bit stronger than I prefer.

For dessert, we couldn’t resist the churro and ice cream sandwich. The ice cream (another must try), sourced from a Persian maker, was rich with rose, honey, and pistachio. The presentation was just as impressive. The churros were decent, though I wished they were crispier and the dipping sauce was thicker.

Overall, I’d give this place a solid five stars. The food is close to Michelin quality without the Michelin prices. Go and you won’t be disappointed.“

The food was excellent. I ordered two items to go, the avocado toast and a breakfast burrito. (I should have taken pictures because the items were beautifully presented in addition to being delicious! 🤓)

“My experience at Saby’s is always phenomenal. I live close by and this has turned into my go to weekend brunch spot. The food is incredible (I get the chipotle chicken breakfast burrito) almost every time and it never fails to disappoint. Sometimes the food can take a bit but that’s because there is always a line out the door and around the corner! The services is great, the workers are so welcoming and kind (especially Javier, he is the absolute man!!), and every time I come I leave with new appreciation for the establishment. Their coffee is also delicious, I get the Spanish latte with oak milk and it never fails to disappoint. 10/10 would recommend Saby’s to any and everyone!! Also special shoutout to whoever is on aux, they play absolute banger after banger on repeat (atmosphere is elite)!!“

“I stopped by Yagul Cafe and had my first ever Oaxacan latte, it was a very big cup, full of flavor and just the right amount of spice. Such a pleasant surprise! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was incredibly comforting and delicious.

“This Latina woman–owned coffee shop is such a hidden gem. From the outside it might look a little rough, but step inside and you’ll be greeted with the warmest service and the most delicious food. I had the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a long time, and the mazapán latte was out of this world. PERFECTLY made. “My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“Some of the best espresso I've had during my LA visit! This is a no-frills spot for to go coffee, with small street-side tables as a seating option. The owner's passion for coffee really shows - you can tell he pays meticulous attention to every shot he pulls.

It's a fantastic place for a cortado, cappuccino, or latte. The espresso itself is dark and rich, with a careful balance that makes every sip delicious. If you want quality coffee without the fuss, this is your spot!“

“Their Matcha Cream Top Latte is absolutely the BEST! Its almost like a matcha milkshake which tastes so so good! 🔥 highly recommend this place for matchas. It is a $8.5 drink, but I believe it is completely worth it! Not tried their coffee yet, but would say their Matcha stands out!“

“Stopped in on a Saturday morning. Not too busy, we were able to walk in and order. I got an iced matcha with no sweetener. The flavor was delicious! The matcha tasted authentic and fresh. It had such great flavor, I really enjoyed it! My significant other ordered an iced coffee drink and he really liked it! We will definitely be back. The seating there seems more like a quick sit down and go. Although, I did see some people with computers. There were also some outdoor seating, but those were all full upon my stay there. I can definitely see this as a quick drink to-go place for me. The staff was kind & most especially the cashier.“

“Maybe the best cinnamon roll I have ever had. Not overly sweet, or too buttery, or yeasty. Cooked enough and perfectly balanced. The Chai latte was just right. Very rich in flavor, very nice tea. Not too hot either. Staff is friendly and the place is well kept. Good music as well.“

“This was the 6th tea experience in 6 months and was hands down the best service of all the places we have been. The desserts were really good. The tea had several nice options. Unfortunately, the sandwiches were a miss for both me and my friend. The scone was also more of a biscuit. The view was nice from most of the tables, but ours was in the corner and we just had a view of a dirt hill. The room was very stark, no decor at all. But the tables were nicely set.“
