“It was raining when we visited so they set us up on the porch of the main building, which I LOVED. They had the heaters going and offered a cozy blanket. We were allowed to walk literally anywhere we wanted which was such a cool experience to see the bottling process and the cellar. All wines were delish and the staff was so friendly and attentive, especially Angela and Jeff(?). Would recommend!“

“Had a great experience here, we went on a Sunday I called in before hand and Debbie kindly reserved a table for my group. None of us have ever done this before and we’re not wine people at all, but it was a nice experience at $40 pp, we had actually gone to Frogs first but they were fully booked so it was great that it worked out, our host was knowledgeable and great! The outdoor area resembled a peaceful garden, featuring charming sculptures and a stylish building with an old charm. The entrance, adorned with a unique arch, led us to a souvenir shop offering a variety of items, including wines and scented candles, from which we purchased some delightful gifts.

Did wine tastings in Napa at three wineries this trip. RH’s winery’s selections were glorious. Mumm’s were good. Chateau Montelena’s were a disappointing-emperor’s-new-clothes-waste-of-time; I guess they’re still coasting on the movie “Bottle Shock”’s (2008) inaccurate portrayal of the Valley’s nascent entry to the world Chardonnay market.

“Our best visit during our trip to Napa! We visited Domaine Carneros, B.Cellars, Davis Estates, Grgich, and Prager Port. We had a nice visit at all of those vineyards, but none of them came close to the hospitality, friendliness and generosity that Ryan Morales showed us during our tasting at Maxville. The wines were fantastic, as was meeting Cullen...a member of the wine making team. The entire visit was spot on from the minute we arrived, to the tour of the grounds, to the tasting. Exceptional, proud to be a club member at Maxville...can't wait until our next visit.“

“Hall Wines was an experience beyond anything that I could have imagined. When we came to wine taste at Hall, our expectations were not set. I've been too many wineries in St Helena, but I've never been to Hall. The grounds were absolutely immaculate. The winery was stunningly, beautiful. Our server Alfredo Hernandez was knowledgeable, warm, friendly, inviting, and a superb host. “Had our first visit to this beautiful winery on Thursday. This was our 4th visit to Napa Valley and this is definitely a top 5. Feels like you're visiting a friend in the countryside. They have beautiful gardens filled with flowers and fruit. If you love dogs this is the place for you. We met the 11 year old golden and heard there are more puppies there too. The people are so friendly and knowledgeable and the wines are so delicious and different than the other wineries. The artwork a the bottles makes it even more special.Thinking Cap white is a blend of grapes we have never heard of and was super delicious. The Pro Que No is a fantastic easy to drink Red blend. We left with 2 bottles of that one. Every wine we tasted was a winner. Met Julia (the winemaker) and her wonderful husband (the farmer). Two really down to earth people who seem to love what they do. Go visit. You will not be disappointed!!“

The number of varietals available for tasting made this experience a great value and the quality of each wine were phenomenal!
