“Came to try this place after noticing it while ordering Korean Fried Chicken next door. It's in the strip mall next to 280 on San Bruno Ave. Place is huge, a little dark, and I haven't seen it being crowded ever. Do note that they are closed on Sunday which is really weird for most Asian restaurant.
The food is decent but nothing special. Don't think the soup is from actual bone soup but with the price I don't expect them to. They however gives you a lot of meat for the price. I feel like I got a decent deal. Service is also good. You do have to pay at the counter.“

“Ordered pickup for my family this afternoon and we were blown away by our dishes. The garlic five spice chicken noodles were impeccable. The curry soup with chicken was scrumptious. And the barbecue pork rolls were to die for. We will definitely be coming back again.“

“I've been wanting to go here for a while now. I walked in and it was packed.  The place was super busy.   There were so many items to choose from,  it was hard to not  make my own sampler.  The place is simply decorated but ig ready for a post.   I was greeted right away and placed my order for to go.I ordered:1. Iced Vietnamese coffee - I was surprised it was made the traditional way,  pour over.   A lot of places nowadays just have it ready to pour over ice.  This was the perfect pick me up for lunch.   Sweet with just the right amount of punch.2.  Fried egg rolls - So crispy, it doesn't even need the sauce.  The wrapper they used was different and gave you an extra crunchiness.3.  Grilled beef over rice with egg roll -  The beef was super tender and flavorful.  I liked that for once it didn't come with a salad but instead possibly picked carrots and daikon?Overall,  the food was amazing. Service was fast and friendly. Didn't have to wait too long and the food was fresh.  Highly recommend and I look forward to comimg back soon.“

“We got the bbq chicken pho and pork chop rice plate. Their bbq is nicely seasoned, and everything there was pretty par, including the pho broth and Thai tea. It gets really loud in there though. They need to add some fabric to absorb the sound or something.“

“Ordered Crunch Combo and Lemongrass beef sandwiches. Cut them in half and shared half a sandwich each with a friend at Marina Green.

Crunch has a thin veneer of delicious pate on the bottom bread. Bread was crispy on top and soft throughout which was easy to chew. Sometimes Banh mi bread makes my jaw ache from excessive chewing. The bread they use is fantastic.

The only gripe is that there was a mouthful of gristle in my lemongrass beef, but otherwise, the sandwiches were delicious and composed well.

I’ll definitely come back. Forget the others. So far, it’s my favorite/the best Banh mi I’ve tried in San Francisco.“

“With its friendly atmosphere, great food, and its gracious portions Yummy Yummy is a hidden gem of SF's Sunset district. Despite not having the fame of its neighbors this family owned phó spot will always be my go to for a nice warm meal, and great company. My wife and I have been coming here for years and not once have we ever had a bad meal. Upon entering you're greeted with a smile and the lovely aroma of home-cooked Vietnamese comfort food. Monday and Tuesday they are closed but please stop by for the best Pho in the city. I always recommend the #1 ( a beef broth Pho) and the #8 ( a beef and peanut broth Pho) and if you need a pick-me-up the Vietnamese iced coffee will keep you going for hours.
If you have a peanut allergy this place is not for you.

“The garlic roast crab here, paired with the garlic noodles, might be one of the most enjoyable meals I’ve had in San Francisco. Just make sure you clean your hands well before eating because you’re gonna dig in deep and go nasty. And don’t skip its head. It’s surprisingly good. The medium pho arrived piping hot with a rich, aromatic broth that’s not too fatty or salty, loaded with tender noodles, fresh herbs, and your choice of meats it was comforting and flavorful, easily one of the better bowls we’ve had in SF, perfect for slurping on a cool day.

Parking on Irving Street is street-only and competitive, so consider public transit like the N-Judah Muni line. This location is perfect for crab and lobster lovers. We ordered the crab and lobster set menu and had both the crab and lobster cooked with garlic sauce. I was told it was amazing, since I am allergic to both crab and lobster, I more of the garlic noodles -yummy., papaya salad, steamed sea bass and charbroiled pork. Got take out grilled pork banh mi to go and enjoyed it outside in the Valencia Live night market. Fresh crispy and soft roll, good amount of grill porked, no excessive amount of Mayo to cover the lack of protein. Generous amount of fresh pickled carrots, cucumber slices, cilantro, and a coupe of slices of jalapeño. Yum… really great balance. Service with a smile also with the cashier and the gentleman that guided me to the cashier for my order is nice too. Will come again when I have a chance. “The pho ga was the best I've ever had (which makes sense given the name). The broth was super savory and not noticeably sweet as it has been at other pho places I've been to. The chicken had some skin and I believe a mixture of dark and white meat and was very flavorful. It reminded me of Hainanese chicken rice (which I consider a positive thing) possibly because the broth had scallions and it was served with a side of minced ginger (it might have been ginger and garlic, not sure)). My partner got the grilled pork vermicelli which was also quite good.“

“Everyone has their favorite pho spot and PPQ has been mine for 20+ years. My go-to is the pho ga (chicken), which always comes out piping hot (a def must!). There's just the right amount of noodles and they never get mushy. The service is efficient. I'm never disappointed with a visit to PPQ!“
