Their deep-dish pizza was just amazing. The addictive texture of the cornmeal pizza dough can only be found here!
We visited last night. The two ladies' table services were great, especially the Asian girl, who was just amazing. We wish we could come back to have more different flavors 😊“

“Always like a place where the windows open up to the street, and there are a couple tables in front on the sidewalk you could use with your pup. The decor is simple but nice. The service a bit on the slow side, but nothing to complain about assuming you're not in a hurry. Food is very good and flavorful. But being Burmese don't expect your pad thai to be like in Thailand (here it is a little sweeter), nor your curry like India (not as spicy). We came for lunch midweek, and it is a bit expensive for lunch (because all they serve is off the same menu used for dinner). So your better value may be dinner. Our bill was $60 for two without tip or any alcohol.“

“I found this bakery when I was looking for a place to purchase alfajores and I was so happy to have found it! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and my first visit was nothing but a very nice experience. Two young men behind the counter seemed really friendly and helpful. The other customers in the store at the time seemed very happy. I came for alfajores today, but I will definitely go back for more alfajores and other goodies!“

“Late December 2025 visit:
Dropped by on a Sunday morning when we visited the Cal Ave Sunday Farmer's Market. A bit hard to locate as the shop front didn't scream 'bakery' at us and we walked by at least 3 times looking for the address.

The young man helping us was very friendly and helpful in explaining the flavors to us!

We picked up 2 focaccia breads in black takeout boxes and ate them after a hike the next afternoon. Tasty but oily. Didn't find any truffle flavor but maybe I wasn't looking hard enough.

Fun memory made better by the staff and his opinions on the savory focaccia bread.
The shop had cake in jars and cookies available as well.

I'd be interested in trying the sourdough bread loaves next time!“

Their anise biscotti were really good too. The right level of crunchiness, unlike the hard rock that are often sold elsewhere.

The panettone was moist and fluffy—the way I love!! The price was quite decent for the quality. Hope they’d make some with almonds and almond crust~

They also had veal stuffed ravioli (only sold during thanksgiving and Christmas months) that we haven’t tried yet.

“As a fellow chef; Getting to taste and witness Jillians skills for our retreat was an absolute honor. Not only is her food delicious but it felt deeply nourishing on every level of our beings.
She is just so on point with how she plans and coordinates everything and her helpers were also a joy. It just brought so much peace to see her calm, sweet and boss presence command the kitchen and create meal after meal of delicacies for all of us. I can truly appreciate her because I have also been a private & retreat chef for many years so I know what it takes to deliver consistently as she does.
I believe that the energy of the people who handle and create food impacts the way it is digested so she checked alll my boxes for what I need in order to trust & receive someone elses cooking (I’m quite biased to my own most of the time). I will absolutely choose her next chance I get!

“This is a takeout only place and their falafels are VERY GOOD! The fries and hummus were just okay. I ordered Heaven's Pita Pocket and it was HEAVENLY, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! So savory for a vegetarian dish. Great texture that melded well with the sauces in this Pita Pocket. The Home Made Fries were okay and the Hummus was okay, maybe ⭐⭐⭐. I'd recommend coming for the Falafels and will be returning just for that!“

The seating plan is well thought out and the music added a captivating energy to the atmosphere of the place. The service is also top. The man who helped me and all the other several customers during my visit here was super kind and it was easy to tell that he had a lot of pride in the place and lit up everyone’s day with his kind energy. He even went out of his way to help me connect to the Wi-Fi, which this is isn’t really the place to do work I noticed, but he was still very kind enough to help me connect which I was very appreciative of. He has a great relationship with all of the regulars too. Throughout my time dining in, I probably saw about 10 regulars and everyone of them were happy to see the man. From their interactions, I was able to tell that there is a genuine relationship between the customers and the man as he greeted each one of them with great energy and enthusiasm. It was all smiles. He was like this with other customers as well, who didn’t seem to be regulars. Oh yeah I forgot to talk about the food! If you are wondering if I recommend the food, I highly recommend! I had the falafel plate and added a side salad. It hit the spot! I wanted to try something else on the menu so I then asked for a bowl of the chicken soup… it came with a lemon wedge and pieces of pita bread. This dish also hit the spot! It was delicious… I will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu, especially different kebabs and gyros. If you are considering giving this place a try, I would say you will not be disappointed at all. 100% guarantee this place will satisfy not only your appetite, but will also leave all other senses elevated from the uplifting vibes of the restaurant.
