“One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). We wanted to go back today but they are closed on Sundays.?“

“Truly enjoyed our dinner here. We ordered one additional dish alongside the fixed course, and every single plate was delicious and beautifully presented. I especially loved the variety of ingredients—particularly the vegetables, many of which were new to me and incredibly fresh. The flavors, atmosphere, and service were all excellent, and the price was very reasonable for the quality offered. Highly recommend!“

“Delicious and exquisite meal. We are very supportive of vegetarians, vegans and gluten-free diets and we are very grateful for that. The attentive staff made the experience even better. This was the most interesting and creative meal I have ever had in my life. Highly recommended.“

“Excellent place for lunch or dinner. The first time I entered a few days ago as a surprise because I didn't know the place and I got carried away by my curiosity. Today again I came out more than happy. The relationship between price and quality of food and service is perfect. The people who work deserve all the respect and recognition. Fresh and very good quality ingredients, treated with respect and head. The burgers, especially, are spectacular. Competent and very attentive service. In a word: absolutely recommended site. Also, a detail: the entire place is open and visible to customers. Always a very good sign and a lot of confidence, when there is nothing to hide. Congratulations!“

“This is the second time in a week I've dined at Bistro Central Parc - it is getting louder and louder. First, the music has changed - what was sort of vague European music has become loud music and with a definite beat - and not very appealing to being at dinner with friends - if this is a French Bistro ... the music choice needs to match. And then when you have a friend who has trouble hearing - it's killer. One couple - one on each night - who both have loved the Bistro in the past, independent of each declared they will not come back. Period. It was asked to turn the music down a bit, and finally it was just turned it off. And it was still very loud for some reason - perhaps because we had become used to shouting at each other? They've got to solve this - or they will lose loyal customers.“

“Wonderful stop for lunch, and decided quickly to cancel the rest of the afternoon, split a bottle wine (fun selection), have apps, entrees, and dessert, and slow down and enjoy.
Never was rushed, had great service, enjoyable conversations with the team, and went back the next day.“

“We came here to celebrate birthday. In the evening, there is only one 9-course set menu. The food is spectacular. The service is outstanding and the atmosphere is upscale. It is Michelin 3-star quality and well deserved. Considering there are only three 3-star restaurants in San Francisco. It is by all means a worthwhile visit.“

“Really, really wonderful food. Food doesn’t come out quick- but the quality is extremely high, especially for the price. Duck Reuben and Polenta sticks will knock you on your butt for the afternoon. It’s great for an afternoon spot to catch up with friend.
Only challenge is the server isn’t super attentive- very nice, but you can’t be shy about asking for what you need.“

“Chouquet’s is an amazing restaurant! I really love it! it’s one of the only truly authentic French spots in SF. The service is fantastic: super attentive without being over the top. The food is great and traditional (and well beyond just moules frites… ), and they have an easygoing but really good wine selection. Whenever people ask me for my top three restaurants in SF, this is one of them.
See you next time!“

“We loved our long lunch at Zuni Cafe during a recent SF trip. We sat upstairs next to the window. The chicken & bread salad is amazing. The NA cocktails and NA wine are delicious, as were the alcoholic options. Service was lovely. Highly recommend if you have time to linger over a meal.“

“Came on a Sunday around 10 am and waited in line for around 15 minutes to order. The interior is super cute but very limited seating so we had to wait a while for seats to open up.
Maison Nico had an amazing selection of pastries but my friend and I decided to get some classic ones- a plain croissant and a brioche slice. We both loved how airy and light the croissant was and the brioche slice was also amazing- it had a perfect sugar glaze and was super crisp on the outside yet light and airy on the inside. Both paired well with the lattes that we got!“

“The bakery here is at the elevated level of beauty, aroma, and taste. People said that good bakery can look like jewelry boxes. I am not fond of jewelry, but I of course love bakery! The marcipan, almond paste, and meringe in each piece of the pastry is rich and aromatic. The price point is reasonable compared with the quality. I now would love to try all other items as well. Worth stopping by to make your weekend more special.“

“We came here for happy hour on a Monday evening and we were one of the only customers in a nearly empty restaurant, so service was pretty efficient. We almost had the entire staff catering exclusively to us. I'd say the restaurant kind of feels like a cross between a bistro bar and a 50s restaurant with dim lighting. Once we took a look at the menu, of course we had to get a wine flight.
Between 2 of the $13 wine flights, we ordered a Melon de Bourgogne, Merlot, Gamay, and then we were recommended a Rose Grenache, and an an orange wine, which was interesting.
$ 7 Chicken Liver Mousse:
okay! It was topped with chives, served with cornichons.
$10 Jamon Serrano Croquetas:
good! definitely fresh, because it came piping hot. I had to cut it in half and let it steam for a few minutes.
$19 Octopus Carpaccio - pickled capers and pickled peppers, pomegranate:
great! very tangy taste, get it if you like sour flavors
$29 Duck Leg Confit - Grimaud farm duck leg with gratin dauphinois, salad, duck jus:
excellent! crispy skin on duck leg with green salad and radishes helped lighten it up.
When we got our bill, it came tucked inside of a French paperback, which I thought was a cute touch. We got full from happy hour, though two items were not from the happy hour menu. I give Amelie a 9.2/10“

“I had a glass of wine, olives, and a savory gluten-free crepe for an early dinner. Loved everything! Great place for introverts who want to read since the waitstaff/owner doesn’t bother you every few minutes. A French-speaking customer ordered food to take home so this place must be authentic. Give it a try!“

“TLDR: cute cozy spot with seating on a busy corridor, nice decor and relatively inexpensive for SF downtown
Stopped by this cute spot and got an iced coffee for $4, cheap by SF standards near downtown. Looking up and seeing the nice artwork and murals, as well as the old school chandelier shows some character in this establishment. Love these old school places that exist less and less these day“

“A cute little spot that’s perfect for celebrating a special occasion. The appetizers were a standout - the focaccia was incredibly soft and fresh, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly charred and crispy, and the burrata with beets was delicious. While the mains were less memorable, we did enjoy the truffle risotto, but the other pasta dishes were a bit bland. Dessert was truly the highlight of the meal. The pistachio cake was fantastic, and the chocolate soufflé cake with vanilla ice cream and toasted sesame was great as well. Overall, we had an enjoyable dining experience“

“Service, atmosphere and cuisine are impeccable. Doesn’t look like much on the outside but it’s exquisite once you’re in. We celebrated our anniversary there and it did not disappoint. Live the shiitake and lobster dish, and the sea break sashimi too. All the food and drinks were great!“
“We stumbled upon The Bombay Brasserie and had an amazing experience! 😊 The Indian-French fusion menu caught our eye, but we needed some guidance. That's when Lilian came in – super knowledgeable and helpful in picking the perfect dishes. The Lamb biryani was aromatic, and the duck samosa had the perfect crunch! Loved the ambiance too - great vibe for a dinner date. Service was top-notch. If you're in the mood for something unique, go for it! 🌟“
