“Was waiting to do catering from here from very long time. Finally the time had come!
We did catering for 30 ppl - Wanted to have mix of north Karnataka and malnad style food :) Ranjinj just did everything whole heartedly whatever we asked for. Food was very yummy just like home food very soothing and reminds me of Amma’s cooking. If anyone looking for Karnataka style food I highly recommend her. Every guest loved the food (I had mix crowd from almost every part of India) they all loved every item. It was a super hit event mainly due to the lips smacking food :)“

“Ate the buffet here. Butter chicken was well balanced between sweet and spicy. Did not taste too tomato ish, and meat was lean and tender. Same goes for the goat curry - well flavored not overly spicy, and meat was cooked well and nice tender texture. Mixed veg - well it did what it was supposed to. Small restaurant with authentic taste and quality.“

“They have amazing buffet. Halal meat is their speciality. Being vegetarian, I won’t be able to justify the meat options. But Vegetarian options were amazing. They have different spice level they can prepare you food with. The place was quite and clean.“

“Hidden Gem for Indian Street Food in San Jose!
If you're craving authentic Indian flavors in San Jose, this small place inside SoFA Market is an absolute must-visit! I tried their Samosa Chaat, Veg Puff, Flavoured Golgappa, and of course, our classic Indian Masala Chai — and every single item was spot on and full of flavor. The taste, presentation, and freshness reminded me of home. It's a cozy little setup but delivers 5 out of 5 on taste and satisfaction. A perfect place to satisfy those desi street food cravings!“

“We visited Himalayan Magic Masala in San Jose for the first time with our family visiting from Canada, and we were all blown away! They said it was the best Nepali food they've had so far, and we completely agree. The butter chicken, momos, pani puri, tandoori chicken, and especially the butter naan and lacha paratha were absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We’ll definitely be going back!“

“Came here on a weekday evening for some quick snacks after work. pretty casual spot, more of a cafeteria setup with curries laid out. Water and utensils were all self serve. I got the punugulu and cut mirchi bajji. Both were just okay. The punugulu came with coconut chutney. The bajji wasn’t spicy but tasted better with the sauce they gave. Food came out quick but didn’t feel super fresh. Prices were very reasonable though. parking was easy. I’d come back to try more since the menu was massive!“

“Ah, nostalgia…my brother and I used to come here regularly growing up, and over the years, would return to this family-run gem. Their new location is beautiful. The space is immaculate in terms of cleanliness. The owners are super friendly. The cooks and other employees are attentive and hardworking. And the food is fresh, affordable, and delicious. Water is freshly filtered with hints of citrus. And the art is very appealing, culturally rich, beautiful, and beckoning. I’ll definitely come back when I’m back in town!“

“Had an excellent experience both in person and via catering. Quality and taste are a 11/10 for me. Received a lot of compliments from guests for the catered lunch and dinner. The catering menu has very interesting items that are not the usual kind we find around. The person who assisted with catering was patient and made the process really simple. Will recommend this place a 100%!“

“I happened to visit the place randomly for another work related commitment and I took a chance to eat the Dosa.
Hands down, this is the best dosa ever in Bay area. I have eaten at a lot of Dosa spots but this one beats everything.
The Dosa was crispy, and almost melted inside the mouth.
Hands down! This is a must try place for all Bay Area Dosa Lovers!“

“Went at lunchtime because of an ad for a Vietnamese coffee place that came across my FB feed. No idea what to expect. It was in an old office building or warehouse, busy parking lot, and oddly full of older Priuses. Guys standing outside around the door. I went inside into a small undecorated waiting room with more guys standing around waiting, phones out, There was a wall of maybe 40 white lockers on one wall, and a little counter window with a person sitting there. The strangest to-go place I’d ever seen.
Drivers came in, held their phone up to a reader, and if their order was ready, one of the locker doors popped open automatically. The driver would grab their order in a brown paper bag with handles and leave. I just had to ask someone if all these guys in athletic type wear driving Priuses were all Door Dashers. They said yes, mostly everyone was doing delivery.
Where were the kitchens? I could see a hallway of closed doors behind the lady sitting at the counter window. Guess that’s where the magic happens. I wondered if they were separate businesses or just one huge kitchen with chefs that cooked many foods.
I placed my order on the one kiosk they had there for walk-ins. Quite a variety of vendors and cuisines to choose from. No one else used the kiosk during the whole time I was there haha, so it is clearly an on-line business model.
In 20 minutes I had my food, after phone notification came through. Kinda slow. Waiting inside or on the sidewalk among the door dashers was not optimal. Somewhat sterile and impersonal 21st century dining experience. Best to sit in the car to wait i suppose but i parked looking at a large trash bin. Not a garden spot, not a date destination. Definitely grab and go. I did like my Viet coffee and sandwich for $10. Banh Mi was smallish but tasty.“
