The Ropa Vieja, Bistec and Shrimp Fajitas are all delicious. Plantains are awesome when they're properly roasted/caramelized. Amazing sauces...make sure you try the Guava BBQ and the Guantanamo Sauce.“

Some of the 1 star reviews are fake.

I used buffet/all you can eat. The price is surprisingly good. $35 for one person before tax and tip $45 after tax and tip. It is unlimited snow crab legs and others. Even beer is free.

I am pretty sure the black mussel and clam are fresh. I can taste it. I don’t even need to confirm with servants.

I ended up with three rounds. That speaks for the food quality and taste.

Some reviews say that owner are silly charging more for corn and potato, making customer ended up eating more seafood for buffet. I would say the owner respects sea food.

Taste is not mild, I would say perfect. Oyster is super fresh as well.

“The outdoor patio was perfect for our Sunday brunch and our 18th Anniversary. We’ve celebrated many occasions at All Spice and have always had a stellar experience with the staff and the food. Our table felt intimate — we were sharing a large space with four other tables, appropriately distanced. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Again, all Covid-19 compliant. The food, oh the food! The Dutch baby was perfectly cooked and the fruit fillings were gorgeous. The chicken sandwich was out of this world. The Mimosa and hard apple cider beverages were on point. We always love our meals at All Spice and this time was no exception. It’s a total gem!“

“Ordered Claire's Crunch Cake through DoorDash for pickup, and the experience was equal parts surprising and delightful. The pickup location is actually someone's home, which definitely threw me off at first, but any hesitation disappeared the moment I met the team. They could not have been friendlier or more welcoming, and the whole exchange felt warm and personal in the best way.

The cake itself absolutely lived up to the buzz. The standout is the crunch layer, which adds a texture and flavor you just do not get from typical bakery cakes. It strikes a great balance between sweetness and richness without being overwhelming, and the cake itself was moist and well made. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the baking and the assembly.

“Stopped by Little Late Bird on a weekday at 11am. It's a comfortable cafe serving Korean staples. The Ube Latte was like tropical Hawaii in a cup with coconut hints. The vegetable Japchae had perfectly chewy noodles and just enough sauce and veggies. The Bulgogi sandwich was amazing: toasted roll, perfectly cooked beef, lettuce, tomato, and spicy pickled jalapeños for contrast. Everything was filling but not heavy. They're also open on weekends 9am-4pm, so it's officially entering our brunch rotation!“

Hands down the best egg I have ever had in my life....Seriously, I had waited a long while to come here and when I got a reservation for my husband's birthday it was a magical, moment. We were delighted. We traveled through taste and it suspended time. Satiated and joyous. Wakuriya is the best Japanese I have had in my life. “Do you love going to Flavortown? How about dreaming with your eyes open? Then try these birria tacos. The first time I had it was from leftovers that my daughter brought home for lunch. Then I drove from Oakley to San Mateo to have them fresh. It was AMAZING! They provide extra stuff to add to the tacos, but it honestly didn’t need them. The meat was so tender & flavorful that I had to close my eyes so I could fully appreciate the taste. Then I added the extras one by one & it tasted like a new taco each time. I know it seems like I’m exaggerating, but it’s really that good! My only wish is that they had seating nearby & a second location closer to Oakley.“

Cold brew definitely on the pricier side. Coffee was standard and croissant was nice. Came by in the afternoon around 2:30PM after lunch, so not much was left.

“I came here to pick up breakfast once before school. The man serving us was definitely a character. I have a feeling he was the same person other reviewers are perceiving as rude. I thought he was just funny. He let me and my mom pet his dog, which was sitting outside.

I got a toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese. There's other places where I can get the same thing in higher quality and for cheaper, but the convenience of Bagel Box and Coffee cancels that out. Overall, I might come again. 4/5.“

“It was a nearly empty Monday night. We waited a minute before being acknowledged by staff and seated. The interior is spacious and bright. We ordered takoyaki, karaage, tempura udon and mentai cream udon. Enjoyed the takoyaki and karaage, however the mentai cream udon was a little too salty, even before mixing in the mentaiko. I was unable to finish it due to saltiness. Portion size was good and could be shared between two people. We did have to flag down a waiter for water when it seemed like they forgot.“

What really elevates it, though, is the food. The avocado toasts come with a variety of toppings, and the real standout is their signature **womlettes**, which are delicious and customizable with many topping options.

Every time I stop by Penelope’s for coffee, I end up ordering something from the food menu as well—I’m especially fond of their specialties. They also offer pastries and beautiful, tempting baklavas. With ample parking at the Laurelwood Shopping Center, this spot is a delight to visit every time.“
