“The outdoor patio was perfect for our Sunday brunch and our 18th Anniversary. We’ve celebrated many occasions at All Spice and have always had a stellar experience with the staff and the food. Our table felt intimate — we were sharing a large space with four other tables, appropriately distanced. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Again, all Covid-19 compliant. The food, oh the food! The Dutch baby was perfectly cooked and the fruit fillings were gorgeous. The chicken sandwich was out of this world. The Mimosa and hard apple cider beverages were on point. We always love our meals at All Spice and this time was no exception. It’s a total gem!“

“Wow, what an amazing spot. Not only was the food amazing, but the vibe was extremely friendly and welcoming. I ordered a hawaiian and ottoman pizza and they were top notch. Crunchy crust with premium ingredients, everything was perfect.

I saw the table next to us full of regulars eating an amazing looking flat bread. I asked what it was… not only did they tell me it was lahmacun, but they insisted I eat of large piece from their plate. The owner gave me a fresh plate of tomatoes and onions and chili’s and taught me how to eat it. If you like lamb, this is THE dish to get. Simply amazing and nothing like I’ve ever had.

“I really enjoyed my Friday morning visit around 10 a.m. There was about a 5-minute wait, a short line, and all the chairs were taken, lots of people standing around and the space was loud and crowded. I was meeting a friend, and even in the bustle we were able to have a wonderful conversation. By about 10:30, the crowd thinned out, and we found a table to enjoy not just our conversation but also some delicious coffee.

She ordered a flat white and loved it, saying it had a caramel-like taste. I had the Tahitian vanilla latte with oat milk (so good!) and an avocado toast. Next time, I’ll definitely order the avocado toast with an egg and try the miso latte the barista recommended.

The café has seating for maybe 15–20 people, either individually or paired up. Overall, a great spot, I’ll definitely be back!“

“WOW! Their food was SO delicious! Their pad see ew was so chewy and yummy, and the pad Thai was so flavorful too. The yellow curry was amazing too. The inside is super trendy and cute, lots of lights and flowers. The staff was so attentive, and the food came extremely fast. Highly recommend!!“

“First time ordering a crunch cake! We got the 6” inch strawberry crunch cake and called in the order a day before to pick up. Parking is limited since it’s a residential street. When I arrived for pick up, they were just putting the brittle on. The cake is very unique, the strawberry crunch had brittle crumble all over the outside and in the inside are two moist cake and a thick layer of cream and fresh strawberries.The cake is not that sweet and taste amazing with the brittle crunch. Cutting it wasn’t that difficult, I wiped the knife each slice as instructed. I would order the mocha cake next time! This cake is $35, cash only.“

“Do you love going to Flavortown? How about dreaming with your eyes open? Then try these birria tacos. The first time I had it was from leftovers that my daughter brought home for lunch. Then I drove from Oakley to San Mateo to have them fresh. It was AMAZING! They provide extra stuff to add to the tacos, but it honestly didn’t need them. The meat was so tender & flavorful that I had to close my eyes so I could fully appreciate the taste. Then I added the extras one by one & it tasted like a new taco each time. I know it seems like I’m exaggerating, but it’s really that good! My only wish is that they had seating nearby & a second location closer to Oakley.“

“The Best PASTRAMI!! Could not believe how juicy and tasty it was. From a low of 1 to a high of 10, it just breaks the ceiling at a score of 11. I was happy to see a lot of choices for drinks. Make sure you save space for the Baked Pudding. Excellent service from our server, Oliver! It was my first time and he gave the right recommendations. Fast and friendly service too. “How I just LOVED this restaurant. Me and some family members went here after a boring fishing trip and it made my day! The rice was perfectly cooked, the dishes had large portions enough for the three of us, and the pot stickers were cooked to perfection. The service was great, it was fast and easy! I don't have much more to say about it! The atmosphere had that wonderful Chinese restaurant feel to it with wonderful smells wafting through the air along with the friendly waiters always making you smile.“

“Happy to have found this lovely bakery in San Mateo downtown. We love their sourdough breads, sweet and savory pastries. They have long lines on the weekends so prepare to wait at-least 10-15 minutes if you are getting coffee with your pastry.

Some of my favorites are “tomato girl”, “Kouign-amann” and “everything croissant bagel”. Their chocolate sourdough and olive sourdough bread are also very unique and tasty.

They also have a cute patio on the back where you can sit, relax and enjoy the food.“

The staff was friendly, making the visit enjoyable. However, the tacos were priced at $3 each, which seemed a bit high for a food truck. Despite this, the quality of the food made it worthwhile“

“Okay so the service is excellent! Gabrielle was very helpful and knowledgeable on the menu. We had the avocado quinoa salad and the chicken sandwich spicy one. It was okay. The salad was a little different Grinding crunchy quinoa which for 35 and up freaks you out because it feels like a tooth broke! If you have allergies it might be hard to pick through food as my man is allergic to corn and onion and it was all over the food. The juice is awesome but lemonade was too sweet! They should fix by the juice because it was a mess of dirty towels. Overall I give this place a 4 because it’s a great concept with good service but needs to clean up a little. “Outstanding Indian food in a casual and cozy location. The food here is probably the best Indian food I've had anywhere. We had the Butter Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo with garlic naan. Both dishes were authentic tasting and superbly prepared. Neither dish was overpowering in spices or heat. You could tell fresh spices, seasonings and ingredients were used. Servings were ample too.“

“Such a cool spot! KitchenTown is a food startup incubator, and through their Cafe (now Curbside), we all get access to that yummy, trendy food. Super seamless experience. Just order online, and they'll drop it into your car on weekends. The food is really high-quality. It comes frozen and reheats in 15min, so I keep my freezer stocked to brighten up a random weekday. Love the chicken chili verde, all the pastas, the Korean short rib, and fresh breads. There's also a coffee counter, so I grab an oat milk latte while I pick up my food for the week.“

“Favorite boba spot!! My go to drink is the Grass Jelly Almond Latte with mochi cake. Yifang is the only boba place with this type of traditional drink and it’s awesome. Tried some of the other drinks like the Yifang Fruit Tea and that was good too, had a lot of fruit and quite refreshing. Would def recommend to anyone looking for traditional Taiwanese drinks/smoothies!“
