“The tacos de adobada are TOP tier. I have heard the lengua is also very good but I have not tried it. The tortiallas are fresh taste amazing. The carne asada though was a little disappointing. There is a consistent burnt/smoky flavor that I think overpowers the meat/taco. Maybe this is temporary but it tasted the same at multiple locations. I will edit this if it gets better. Either way I will be back for the adobada!“

“I'm giving it 4 stars because lately, the tortillas taste OLD. Before the tacos were soft, not chewy. The tostadas were breakable and crunchy. Lately, they are not that breakable and crunchy. The service is excellent!

Wheelchair accessibility: They have both low tables with removable chairs and pub tables with stools. For a wheelchair or walker with a seat, you can just remove a chain.“

“Hands Down the best carnitas of all of San Diego. My family and I always buy our carnitas here. We get the carnitas by the pound and they are delicious 😋. They also catered 2 of my party events my baby shower and my daughter's 1st communion at a reasonable price. I said I wanted for 50 people and they set it up in party trays and I picked it up. It came with everything: carnitas, rice, beans ,3 salsas, chiles with sauted onions, guacamole and chicharrones. To ensure that they stayed walm i put the food on party trays warmers. My guest loved it and was a hit ♥️🙏“

“I was in the area and wanted something kind of healthy, so I decided to order two tacos — one pescado a la plancha and one camarón a la plancha. I was a little bummed they messed up my order and gave me two pescado instead, but honestly, they were really good! I’m pretty picky when it comes to fish, but it had great flavor and wasn’t fishy at all. The salsas and chips were tasty too!

I also tried their jugo verde — I love green juice, but not everyone makes it how I like it. This place actually makes a really good one!

And staff were great too. Not mad at all but sad. I didn’t got to try the Camaron.“

Food is always hot, the cashier is kind and respectful, variety of food and drinks, quality meats, everything feels fresh, overall an awesome place, it got relatively busy when I went and every time someone left they said thank you. It was also chilly enough inside to keep you comfortable. They had a TV with boxing matches playing so I was entertained. They made sure to keep the tables clean for new customers, my order took about 5 minutes to get out and it wasn't poorly cooked or anything, I'd recommend the shrimp burrito. Great vibes overall! Will definitely come back again :)“

The customer service this girl had, was so professional and appreciated. I asked for her name afterwards because she did such a great job. Her name is STAR, I worked at a restaurant for about 4 years and this is the customer service I gave. I was impressed by her suggestions and the way my mom and I kept on getting convinced on adding more to our menu list even when we only came for 2 things, we ended up leaving with about 5 things. So STAR if you see this, girl keep doing what you are doing, even though there is a few in the world that can be, let's say unappreciated in their lives and take it out on the nice people, you keep working hard.“
