We started with an atv ride where we got to see more of the vineyard followed by a tour of the wine caves and followed by getting to check out their amazing inside facility. “Schug Winery was our favorite. Made a reservation for the wine tasting in their cave. It was awesome walking into the cave which opens to a chandelier room very elegant with a great table. Various wines were poured and tasted. Exceptional wines at this winery. We bought a case. I highly recommend this winery for the tour and the wine!“

“We stopped at Sonoma Plaza during our wine tour with Antony from Small-Group Wine Country Tour from San Francisco with Tastings booked via Tripadvisor. Highway 12 had a red wine blend on their main web page, so we stopped for a quick tasting. The wines were good, and they got us back to our tour on time.“

Jimmy did a wonderful job of sharing the family history, as well as the history of the winery. He also recommended great wines for us to sample and consider for purchase. I'm glad we availed ourselves to learning about how our Mexican brothers worked the fields, learned the business and became and expert, purchased land, started his on winery, and served two U.S. Presidents (Obama and Bush) and the California Gov (Swarzenegger). “We have been ordering wine from Bedrock many years. This was our first time to visit. The tasting room is just off the main square in Sonoma. It is located in the historic Joseph Hooker House. We were a few minutes late for our appointment but we were seated immediately. Our tasting started with Under The Wire sparkling wine followed by some the Cuvée Karatas which we liked. The plot twisted in the next two pours. In each of the final two rounds we were offered 3 wines to evaluate side by side. This was super fun. We also ordered the charcuterie board and it was delicious too. We had a wine order already pending so we just added more bottles to this order. We opted to take a bottle of 2009 Griffen's Lair syrah with us to drink at the hotel.“

“If you like wine from Sonoma then I highly recommend Peter Cellars for a stop (yes, that's a play on the name for those that know!). Peter has won gold and double gold prizes for his wines (rightly so) and is happy to pour a decent sized glass and tell you about his winery.
There is no hard sell and we bought some to take home to the UK. The wine is truly excellent, it speaks for itself, and pricing reflects this in a good way.
The tasting is on a veranda surrounded by olive trees and vines and on our visit we met four very beautiful and friendly labradors. The winery is very do-able on a day trip from San Francisco.
We found Peter Cellars through Edge of the World Tours in San Francisco which I also highly recommend. Ask for Anthony.“

“Super fun tasting experience and the wines are like nothing I've ever had before in California. Hardey (the owner) walked me through the tasting and was super awesome to converse with, while educating me about the wines, the grapes, the techniques to making them, philosophy, everything.

“We did a Groupon for the Sampler Tasting at Roger Roessler Wines while we were in the Sonoma/Napa area. Aaron and I had a great time. Ethan was the gentleman that did our tasting. He made it such a great experience. In fact, Aaron told him I usually don’t buy wine at tastings and I ended up buying 6 bottles. If you are in the area, Groupon or not, please reserve your wine tasting here, you won’t be disappointed.“

“I’ve been a member of Cliff Lede and several Wilson wineries, all of which I love, but this has become my favorite. I think Shane is an excellent winemaker and the variety of wines is amazing. I drink mostly reds (love especially the Hermit blend and blaufrankisch as well as the cab franc) but the Albariño white is excellent as well. The virtual tastings in the past two years have also been great introductions to the wines. Highly recommend.“

“We stumbled upon this place by complete chance and we were met with surprise after surprise. Who knew about Kamen’s history ! Maybe people do but we certainly didn’t. It was really interesting to learn about his past - starting all the way back in india in kashmir and ending at where he did - a winning screenplay writer and certainly a winning Cabernet for us! This was the best Cabernet we had in the region. Not overpowering yet so complex. Mark herold is a magician with his winemaking and Kamen himself is a magician given everything he touches turns to gold! Great stop. Andi hosted us at the tasting room and was a great story teller! “My level of wine knowledge was very minimal to say the least (little to none). However, after visiting Eco Terreno Tasting Room back in November I have been on a journey to learn and understand more about wine and I truly owe it to all the knowledgeable staff here for starting me on my journey of discovering wine. Within 2 1/2 hours I truly had a better understanding of what inclusive wine culture is and how it is embodied in everything Eco Terreno has to offer. Plus the food pairing with wine, do not get me started. Let’s just say I will definitely be back for more wine and food. Oh and there is a parking garage right next door, truly what more could you ask for.“
