“There are several wineries in the area but this one has left an impressionable mark on our small group. We popped in a few years ago just because we were in the area for another event. No reservations, no nothing, we just pulled up without the desire for a pretentious experience. We got welcomed like we were family. We left the event having exchanged contacts with the owner. This is an amazing place, family owned, great wines, great people. Put it on your list if you really want to go to a winery that actually gives a shit.“

“Clesi’s Italian varietals are first class. Their wines were reminiscent of the fine wines we tasted on a trip to Italy a couple years back, smooth, lite, easy to drink. Becky provided us with the back story on each of their varietals and the different regions in Italy they are native to. Clesi winery is now on our short list when in the Paso Robles (Templeton) area.“

“I used to own a winery, and I do not remember the last wine club I joined. But I had to join this one. Every wine is absolutely delicious. Vic and his wife are amazing hosts. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, and Stella the dog is a fabulous ambassador. I am typically a white wine drinker during the summer, but the Zinfandel and the Malbec are perfect red summer sippers. Can't wait for the release of the reserves! “AmByth Estates truly stands out amongst the wineries in Paso Robles. Their quality of their wines is some of the best I've had.

Their philosophy and approach to vineyard management and winemaking is a way of life to the winemaker/owner Gelert. They work and live on the estate. Their connection to the vineyard l, the way they respect the land and commitment to biodynamic practice makes the experience so special.

The use of amphoras in the fermentation process is so cool! It brings a distinctive character to their wines. It's hard to find a winery with such traditional and natural techniques. Authentic, small production wines that are exceptional.

If you're visiting Paso, AmByth is a must visit.“

What a pleasant afternoon … meeting new friends … all sharing the love of rich red wines. We were even treated with a beautiful Zinfandel Port. Easy access from Hwy 46. “We received a recommendation to go to Jack Creek to taste their local Pinot Noir at a tasting room the night before. All of their wines were lovely and we enjoyed the Syrah the best! But the hospitality and atmosphere made the moment as Kelsey was a wonderful host through our flight and we loved hearing the family story of the winery. The views were beautiful and we will definitely rerun for the scene and the wine!“

“OK, so the wine is good, it was some really good Zins. Among my favorites of the week. Room is small, but did have some outside seating.

Owner was rocking a Trump 2028 hat, so that could affect if some go there or not. The wine is good though, and you can tell the owner loves making wine.“
