“I felt like we were back in a Michelin starred restaurant in Provence eating here. I loved sitting at the counter and watching the sou chefs prepare and dress the dishes. It was the first time since then that we got to enjoy Monkfish. A rare find! And cooked beautifully with a light curry sauce. We did the 4 course option and were stuffed after, it was a lot of food but well priced! The strawberry gelato desert with geranium foam was a memorable and perfect ending to the rich meal. The staff was attentive. We will definitely go back as they change their menu daily. Truly an unexpected gem to find on a random corner of the mission.“

“One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). We wanted to go back today but they are closed on Sundays.?“

“Exceeded my expectations! I’ve been wanting to go here for a month or so… and just had a lovely lunch with my aunt and son. A new neighborhood favorite!! Came just before the lunch rush on a Saturday and sat right down. Friendly charming Service, bright large windows full of sun, colorful fun art murals and intense flavors in food. Burger with Brie, bacon and caramelized onions stole the show, but smoked salmon egg crossiant was tasty and salad with house cured jamon was killer with huge portion. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu soon“

“We chose Florio to celebrate a very special graduation. We were seated in our own private area that was just enough to accommodate our party of 8. It was chilly at first but soon warmed up. Our server was a bit aloof and we honestly had expected a bit more attention. The food mostly made up for that. Everything ordered was delicious and in fact most said it was the best meal they have had in SF. It was unfortunate that our son's med burger was mostly rare. He would have asked for a bit more cooking, but our server was mia. The meatballs were yummy but also could have had a bit less pink. Overall we would highly recommend Florio for a special night out. Maybe in the main dining room you might receive better service, but you will be wowed by the food no matter!“

“Only reason I'm saying four stars is that now they've added an automatic 20% gratuity on top of the 5% SF mandate. I get that you have to compensate for people who might never tip, but I always tip 20% anyway, but I hate the automatic-the service definitely doesn't feel the same, less personalized and more cookie cutter.“

“Had a great experience at Maison Nico today! I ordered a Pain au Chocolat and matcha, and both exceeded my expectations. The Pain au Chocolat was beautifully made - so light and delicate with those perfect flaky, crispy layers on top that you expect from a well-crafted pastry.
What really stood out was their matcha. Finally found a place that serves it the proper way - no added sugar at all! It's refreshing to taste the pure, earthy flavor of quality matcha instead of the overly sweet versions you get at most cafes.
I was fortunate to walk in without a line, but within several minutes there was a steady stream of customers forming a queue. That's always a good sign that locals know this place is worth the wait. The quality of their pastries and attention to authentic preparation definitely shows. Will be back to try more items!“

“It was a surprise birthday lunch for a good friend. 11 guests total. Orders varied - Croque Monsieur, burgers, omelette, eggs benedict, trout salad, lentils. After our meal, I saw all plates were clean! All guests enjoyed their meal. Our server, Roy, was very efficient and thoroughly knowledgeable and attentive. Served coffee and a creme brulee for celebrant on the house. It was noisy, but I can't fault the restaurant for it. Will definitely be back.“

“Great bistro by the water! We arrived shortly after opening on Saturday and were seated immediately. We chose the covered outdoor seating. It can get chilly so bring your jacket. There's also plenty of indoor seating.

The burger was delicious and the shoestring fries were great with the aioli. The pain perdu was so soft and yummy; fantastic french toast with berry compote. The croque madame was great as well with a nice side salad. I love bread and all the bread from these dishes were stuff my face good.

There's a dedicated valet parking lot for $5. The surrounding parking spots are all permit parking until you get to the bridgeway.

“The cocktail was excellent at Quince! They have a collaboration going on with Bar Agricole currently and the cocktails are really well thought out. Craig is very hospitable!

The service was excellent and all the staff is very friendly and professional. I really enjoyed meeting Neev, the service manager.

The food was very tasty - especially the John Dory. You get great canapés and some sweets in the end as well.

It's a great deal for a 3 Michelin Star restaurant to be able to experience some of the dishes a la carte in the beautiful Salon room.

Our server brought water, olives and almonds and extra olives for my wife with almond allergies so she can try the yummy olives. Amazing detail to my parties food allergies and checked to make sure the food was safe and had alternatives to accommodate.

Food: 10/10 the food was delicious. French influenced California cuisine. Fresh high quality ingredients. Sauces that enhanced the flavors and a balance of umami in all dishes. It was great that one person can have the prefix menu and others at the table can order al a cart. You can also order just one dish from prefix menu. The duck was perfect, the 3 cheeses with toast paired perfectly with the Bordeaux. The smoked trout was very well seasoned and balanced nicely with the pickled cauliflower. The hanger steak was super tender and flavorful with no dairy!!!
Wine paring is excellent. The selection of French wines is reasonable and great for food pairing.
I think the josey baker sourdough beats tartine country bread! The warm
Chocolate cookie with ice cream was delicious, the polenta cake with cream and rhubarb was shockingly good!

Ambience: 8/10 I love the simple open decor. Bar, dining and kitchen blend together. It wasn’t too noisy because the ceiling pads dampened it.

Be spoiled. Never eat a Frenchish dessert at anything less than a Michelin listed restaurant ever again.

Be obnoxious. Tell all your friends "this is okay, but I know this Fren...". Watch their eyes roll. Roll your own eyes at their lava cakes and sacher tortes.

Be cold. It's the outer Richmond / Land's End region. Brrrrrrr.
