“Went on NYE with a large party. Was a very impromptu decision, but called in advance to see what their hours were. They were super happy to have us and had our table ready immediately. Place isn't super big, so just be aware if you plan to come in with an 7 or 10 top. Price was super reasonable.

Kid-friendliness: They were super accommodating with 4 kids in our group, 3 of which were toddlers.“

“I come here for lunch all the time. Their prices are actually reallly hard to beat these days. I’ve had their Bun Rieu, Bun Rieu Oc, Bun Thit Nuong, Bun Bo Hue, Bun Cha Gio. Alll of it is good! Flavors are right. The fresh bean sprouts and veggies abundant. The Bun Rieu is the best here though. There is a 3 or 4% credit card fee so its good to have cash here!

Theres also a togo food section but I feel like it is not as good as the noodle soup dishes. I’ve gotten spring rolls catered here as well. Small family owned restaurant and super sweet staff. I love that its super quiet here on my lunch breaks.“

“Saw this place on TikTok and had it saved for when I visit OC (im from SD). So when my friends and I went to Disneyland it was the perfect opportunity to try this place the day after! The food was incredible, everything we ordered was so flavorful and the perfect portion size. My boyfriend and I ordered the shaken beef noodles and the banh mi chao. My friends also ordered the banh mi chao and the banh mi bo kho (not pictured). Definitely cant find vietnamese food this good in San Diego! We also ordered a side of pho broth and that was amazing as well. Service was also great, our waitress was a really nice vietnamese auntie who took amazing care of us. 10/10 restaurant in all aspects and we will definitely be coming back here!! Highly recommend!“

“First time here, and it's a cozy cơm tấm place in garden grove. I was quite surprised how good everything was. It was a classic cơm tấm sườn/thịt nướng. No frills nó gimmicks. It tasted like my childhood. Best tàu hủ ky in town! I loved the filling of it and was fried to perfection. The thịt nướng was a bit chewy, but the flavor was great. The service was very prompt, friendly and helpful - the server understood my not liking overly sweet drinks and recommended the cucumber lemonade as refreshing while still having sweetness. It was, indeed, refreshing and sweet - perfectly balanced flavors. The server also wisely suggested we package the noodles and broth of our leftovers seperately. “I’ve found myself coming to this spot many times whenever I’m in OC. It’s one of the few places where you can find a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes beyond just pho, which, honestly, a lot of places still don’t get right.

I’ve tried more than six different dishes here, and every single one has been flavorful, delicious, and truly authentic. It tastes just like home.

Some of my favorites are the Bún Mắm, Bánh Hỏi Heo Quay, Bún Riêu, and Hủ Tiếu Mì Khô—all so good and packed with flavor. I don't recommend Bột Chiên tho!

The service is always friendly, and the food comes out quickly, which makes the experience even better.

Been going here whenever I’m craving Pho or Viet food in the Irvine area. The most flavorful Pho broth out of any Viet restaurant I’ve ever ate in California.“

“If you love Hu Tieu like I do, this is a place for you to try out. Their menu was very simple and easy to order. The hu tieu dry style with the broth on the side was so good. Bring me right back to my childhood time in Việt Nam. I recommend to go early to minimize waiting in line and finding parking.“
