I tried their Signature Beef Brisket Rice Noodles and was impressed by how tender the beef was and how rich the broth tasted—perfect for a chilly evening. “Took our friends to try out the food, and it was really good. Good portion, not oily and tasty. We ordered 3 dishes and it was enough for the four of us. The fish with stir fried veggies had a similar sauce to the chicken, both dishes were good. The eggplant dish was amazing. We also ordered 3 bowls of rice, and had left overs to take home. “Super tasty entrees all around. The beef brisket casserole was jam packed with flavor and super tender (melted in our mouths). The shrimp patties were super juicy and the perfect appetizer. The beef tripe noodles were beefy yet light. The surprise hit was the sweet and sour fish! Crispy and sweet, it was a great entree that was recommended by our waitress. Very friendly staff. Clean establishment. They even had a menu for the Quickly next door. Although I have to recommend their iced tea. Tasted all natural and refreshing. We will be returning!!“

“We go here for a quick & simple breakfast. The pick your own combo is a good deal: porridge + choice: lo mai gai (sticky lotus rice) + drink. The BBQ pork cheung fun is smooth with the right amount of chew and you can see it made to order through the glass sometimes. The staff are friendly and attentive while it does get busy on weekends and lunch rush. Joe the manger will check in to see how’s things are going which is rare in HK style restaurants but appreciated in any setting.“

“The food quality and portion size have both gone down over the years. However, they are still above average compared to other restaurants, because the taste has not changed much.

“After two days of camping, we were heading back to Irvine and made a quick stop in Chino Hills. A friend had recommended this spot, and it turned out to be a nice surprise.

We ordered four dishes for lunch:

• BBQ 3 Item with Rice 燒臘三拼飯 – $18.95

• Beef Stew Wonton Noodle Soup 牛腩炖雲吞麵 (3 wontons) – $16.50

• Baked Pork Chop with Cheese & Tomato Sauce 芝士焗豬扒飯 – $16.95

• Claypot Rice with Black Bean Spare Ribs 豉汁排骨煲仔飯 – $17.95

All were good except the claypot rice—it was just okay and not our favorite.

Service was fast and friendly. Portions were generous, and the flavors were comforting after camping. A good spot for a casual family meal. We’ll definitely return if we’re in the area again.“

“If you're craving dim sum, this place is definitely worth a try. The dim sum menu is solid, offering a decent variety of dishes that satisfy those midday cravings. The food quality is good overall, flavorful, and filling. However, when it comes to dinner time, the experience takes a bit of a dive. The dinner menu isn't particularly impressive, and the foods lack in flavor. I wouldn't recommend coming during dinner time.
The service, unfortunately, leaves a lot to be desired. The staff can be a bit inattentive and, at times, even rude.“
