“Short: Charming café with down to earth people, no frills menu. Staff is friendly & the environment is calming. Dog friendly patio. Long: Parking is abundant in the marina lot. Exterior vibe is boaty lol as the café is tucked away between the Wilmington Marina & surrounded by boats. There are booths & a counter inside but why would you sit inside if the outside is refreshing? Lol There is usually a pup or two on the patio that is generally calm. There are occasions the pups go a little nuts over the birds or ducks around. Lol Yes, there is a small menu for dogs. Staff is friendly, professional, & efficient. Food is simple but good. A couple surprises: the French toast & the menudo. Both are delicious! WC: Key required, separate facilities for ladies & gents.“

“After driving by this restaurant several times, we finally decided to stop by and try it. Upon entering, we were greeted by at least 3 staff members and told to find a comfortable spot to eat. Unusual way of saying, "seat yourself". All the available tables were clean and well organized with all the condiments. Our server came to our table and introduced herself and provided us adequate time to review the menu. I saw the San Francisco Burger, so without hesitation I had to try it. Within minutes our server came to our table with our meals. The burger was decent, but lacked something. I think I'm used to the Marie Calendars Frisco Burger because I was anticipating grilled onions and Thousand Island dressing. It was still good, but maybe I've been spoiled by Marie Calendars. While we were dining, the owner of the restaurant hired a painter to decorate the windows for Valentine's Day. It was entertaining to watch him do his work. We'll definitely come back to try their breakfast items, as the staff made our experience enjoyable.“

The dishes are really innovative and still have that touch of Indian food. Apt and balanced spices. Loved the way they have put in so much efforts in improvising the dishes.I ordered butter chicken pot pie, garlic naan, dum biryani, death by chocolate.Dessert was a 3/5 though, it wasn’t really that tasty.“

“My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this experience! It was a great view of the track and service was great. Food took some time to get out but it was a great 4/5. We had the pork chop and 917 burger which were excellent. The Pinot Grigio and old fashioned was 4/5. They have a full bar and made a great whiskey sour with egg white foam. Overall a great experience and great place to bring that special someone who loves cars. You're able to Ventura and observe several Porsche's. I Would definitely come back for lunch!“

“My partner and I came in for breakfast. We had the Quiche and the American Breakfast. The quiche was very good but the fries it came with were not. The bacon that came with the American breakfast had good flavor but was overcooked. We also shared a pancake, we did like the pancake but felt it was a little undercooked. Overall a nice experience, but we expected more from the food. We might try again for other dishes.“

“We. Are here for our friends birthday. Very nice vibe with an industrial plus natural ambiance as they use lots of metal and wood for decoration. We ordered the SS signature burger, some appetizers (truffle fries, Korean style pork belly with lettuce wrap, calamari), some drinks and a dessert (pistachio cake, which is all right). The food in general was tasty but not mind blowing. Probably above average. The waitress was super friendly. Recommend for friends and family gathering.“

“Excellent lunch spot. Was pleasantly surprised by this lunch spot. The food to price to service is excellent. The prices are reasonable. The portion sizes are reasonable. The quality of the ingredients is great. And the service staff is on point. I highly recommend this place. Parking is convenient. Note this is not a stand alone restaurant. The restaurant is located within a business plaza. They also offer a half sandwich and soup combo. My friend got the mushroom soup and half a sandwich and said the soup was excellent. Another friend got the Cobb salad and said it was great. I got the club sandwich and was very pleased with my order. We also got an order of the hummus to share which I highly recommend. “Very large eatery near the beach that offers a healthy choice of food to choose . I wasn’t please that when we walked in the Thin Body Waitress did not look our way or even acknowledge us so we just sat down at a table and flag down the other Short Body Lady who gladly assisted us. Other than that the Food is always good at this location & Long Beach where I go 99% of the time.“

“We are locals and we always make sure to stop at least once a week. Service from the bartenders is the best and remains consistent. The drinks are always great and so is the food. We love their happy hour menu, that they have everyday! The vibe is always great here.“

“This place is my jam - good food at a good price. I got the pork belly dosirak (basically a bento box). I love having a lot of different options to try in a meal so I was so happy to see this was an option! The pork belly was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well - I barely had to use the sauce they gave for it on the side. We also got the rice cakes, I definitely recommend those too. What really takes this to a 5 star is the warm friendly service from everyone who works there as well as the nice touches such as free instant coffee if you dine in! I can't wait to return. They also have a punch card reward program so you can claim some free food as a loyal customer.“

“A beachside cafe on the sand is everything I didn't know I needed here in LA/OC. It's such a great chill spot, plenty of parking, just steps away from the Pacific Ocean. They have corn hole, giant Jenga, a climbing park right next to it. So it's an amazing spot for families and even the pups (they offer unseasoned grilled beef patties!)I got the tofu banh mi with a side salad and a machaca breakfast burrito. Surprisingly, the food was actually pretty impressive, half of me was expecting beach shack quality. The food does take a bit to come out, but it's not fast food here. They serve alcohol, have vegan options, breakfast all day. It's a pretty great spot to relax, enjoy the sound of the beach waves, dig your toes in the sand, and eat/drink.“

“I'm so glad that there is a good restaurant like this near where I live. First of all, the food quality is good and the price is also good. Also, while eating the food, I felt how sincere the chef and owner are about the food. Other places often don't have fresh ingredients, but here all the ingredients are fresh and they don't skimp on the ingredients. It's close to home so I think I'll go often.“

“Great place for breakfast or brunch! Service was fast and food was good. The best part is the view! Parking is a bit of a hassle as they don't have their own lot and you have to circle a few times to find street parking. Go on a weekday to avoid parking issues and long wait times.“

“This location has gone under numerous names and owners over the years but this incarnation is the best so far. Great beer options, well stocked bar, and a very good kitchen are all available to the visitor. I came by for lunch and ordered the cheese steak sandwich. It was AMAZING. They use truffle cheese, great bread, and the whole thing was delicious. Small pickle slice and pickled veggie garnish was a great touch. Service is solid and the place was not very crowded at noontime. Lots of live music and other stuff going on at night too.“

“I have loved Cena Vegan since they were only a pop-up, and I will love them until the day I die. Seriously. It's that good. Their burritos are the best I've ever had, vegan or not. They make their own meats and they are all amazing. I usually opt for the al pastor. Portion sizes are always great. And as for this location, inside of Partake? Absolutely lovely. I'm always shocked by how few people are dining here. Clean, fun music, plenty of seating.“

Wine on 2nd fits the bill.The owners and the staff are so welcoming, as are the other guests. The vibe is perfect. Chill, calm. I got the baked brie and it was absolutely delicious! Is one of my favorite dishes anyway and when it's done right, chef's kiss. I paired it with a sparkling wine and it was exactly what I needed.I'm already in love with this place, parking is easy, the location is great. Come and go grab a glass of wine and then go enjoy the Christmas lights or come here after. It's easy to get to, incredible ambiance. I can see why it won best wine bar last year. I expect it will do it again this year.Vegetarian options: I'm a vegetarian and a lot of the dishes are vegetarian. As in made to have a full set of flavors, not just a garden salad.“

Ordered both a pineapple, and espresso martini and both were yummy as well. Service and ambiance were both top notch, and for as many tables as there are, the whole experience felt super intimate. “The service was pretty good until the shift of service. I ask for more tea ? to (3) different folks. Instead, I got the check quicker than any tea ?. I paid and left. I'm not sure if they ever charged me for the extra tea because, at this point, what was a wonderful dining experience ended abruptly. Love the greetings when we got there. It was the leaving that bothered me. I'm sure they would have done better if there was one person serving my table, but I thonk she had to take her break or something. “It’s a cool concept and convenient for a quick meal pick up. It’s not a sit down restaurant, it’s like a collective of restaurants, like a food court but not because there’s only a couple places to sit and eat. You can order food online or at the site and pick up there. I didn’t know it was set up this way so it was confusing when driving there and trying to find it. The building says Daisy on it, you can park and go in.“

“Came here on a recommendation. We wanted a place to eat and have a few cocktails. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outside patio has heaters. There were also several large groups. Our waitress was incredibly helpful. We had Brussel sprouts to start. Ordered the halibut and the seabass. The pistachio tiramisu wasn’t quite what we expected and didn’t finish it.“

“Last week I had a burger and fries and today I had the comisky dog and chili cheese fries. The burger and fries were delicious. I'm originally from Chicago so I know my stuff and while the Comisky wasn't an authentic Chicago dog, it was still pretty good. The chili cheese fries were great. The chili was meaty with alot of beans ( real chili does not have beans but I digress) and generous.“

“After bowling a couple games, I decided to stop in Cal Bowl Coffee Shop for a bite to eat. Went with something simple and healthy. A salad with the works. After placing my order (I was the only customer) I started wondering what was taking so long. Grab the salad out of the fridge and serve. Much to my surprise, the guy made the salad there on the spot. Fresh ingredients, including bacon, turkey, cheese, crisp fresh veggies and slices of egg! No pre-made salad sitting for days ... made there on the spot, and wow! Excellent. Seems everything is pretty much made this way. Definitely worth a short wait because the food and flavor is rewarding. AND my order was just a salad. LoL. Will be back to sample some of the special doughnuts and a cooked meal. Don't let the 'cafe' fool you, this is quality dinning.“

“We lucked out and came on the last Saturday of the month when the dueling pianos duke it out vocally and musically and they delivered for us and our kids. They played crowd favorites and kid favorites. Not a lot of places you can hear Sweet Caroline followed by Peaches from Super Mario Brothers. The service was great too. They accommodated cocktails and charcuterie for the the adults and milk and cookies for the kids with ease.“

They’re always happy to help me, and to even get to different places around the hanger. Super friendly as well especially the earlier shift don’t know the later shift really. I am sure they are good too. Lovely people. Every time I go they are just as friendly. :d good work! The food is made well and tasty as well. The food is quite filling as well. Got their blazing fries. I forgot to put in my number but the system remembered it. I was so bummed until I checked my messages later. And there was my reward. “This place was awesome. We were visiting the area and decided to stop in for lunch. We had tried to stop in on Saturday but it was packed. So, we on Monday afternoon to take a break from checking out used bookstores. There was only one other table occupied. Our waiter was being trained by another server and they were both great. The atmosphere was cozy, and the food was fantastic. My son said he wished we had one where we're from. I agreed. Definitely glad we stopped in.Dietary restrictions: They are gluten friendly. Be careful if you're gluten sensitive and can handle small amounts of cross contamination. I'm gluten sensitive due to auto-immune disease but I am generally okay with things in a shared fryer. I ordered the fries. Thankfully, our server informed us they toss their fries in flour before frying. That I cannot do. Burgers and sandwiches can be served on gluten free buns.“

“I can't believe I haven't written a review here yet! (Thought I did!) Anyway, first came here last year for my sister's friend/band member's birthday party! (Jordan) And some of his art work was displayed for sale. It was pretty fun! The DJ booth looks cool! The giant screen allowed them to play their new music video for their band called Wamdingis! (Check them out!) That night was lit! Thank you to the bar tenders & chef! The fried cheese curds were unforgettable! Came back here another time with a girlfriend because she was sad about her guy. Anyway, we ordered the tater tots (yummy!) & some seltzer drinks. I sang a song for Karaoke night on Sunday. We also ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and added bacon! Omg! So glad we split it! That was too good! Then we bar hopped a little before going home. Tonight, I was supposed to help my sister's band with merch at the Santa Ana art walk but they finished before I got there so I turned around and went home and Lyfted here. Ordered the garlic lemon pepper wings & cheese curds! Mmmm! So good! Highly recommended! The kitchen is open until 1 or 2am! Woohoo! So this is def a 2-in-1 spot! “I specialize in the renovation of kitchens, but this is Grandmas country kitchen 2.0. Both a local market and an incredibly good southern inspired restaurant, be prepared to be warmed by the good spirit of true comfort food and energy of the old days... when food took time but every1 chatted away... It was my first time here, so I didn't get a chance to really experiment on food (chicken sausage, eggs, and pancakes), but it was pleasant. Good prices and a local spot you should not miss.“
