“She is wonderful to work with. I have used her twice now. Once for a Mickey Mouse Twoodles cake and just recently for a baby shower. We got lemon for the cake and snickerdoodle for the cupcakes and when I tell you everyone loved them both. Her cakes are delicious and she does and amazing job with decorating them you send her a picture of what you want and she will not disappoint.“

“I’ve had a great experience every time I’ve eaten at Crumble, and I’ve been eating here frequently for about 2 years now. Hands down. The cookies are so good , the ones I’m trying for the first time or the regular cookies they have . They are always fresh. No matter if you get the big size cookie or want to go with their mini. I usually buy a dozen of the minis or a box or 6 because, come on now. There’s no way I can only actually eat one or 2. I think mini is the perfect size. . So i highly recommend you stopping by a crumble location or ordering it for delivery. So I give 5 stars for here and can’t wait to get my 10 points for writing my review on here because that means I’m 10 points extra on getting my free cookie from there ! 😃“

“Yesterday I tried Uncle Tetsu inside Hillsdale Shopping Center for the first time and I really enjoyed it. There were so many flavors to choose from but I only got the coconut pandan Japanese cotton cheesecake and the ube cheese tart. They're selling the mini cheesecake - cheesetart combo for only $10, a pretty good deal!
Cotton cheesecake was super soft and fluffy, and the flavor leans more towards the coconut. I think pandan was only there for the color. Like you can see it but the flavor was really light, not super strong like I expected.
Ube cheese tart was also good but definitely on the sweeter side. Me and my friend shared one because it gets kinda sugary after a few bites (but it's still delicious, I highly recommend). The texture is nice, very creamy and buttery inside with a slightly crunchy crust.
Place was not busy, and staff was nice. I’d probably come back again when I'm craving desserts.“

“We did a side by side taste test today vs the semi-famous Victoria cannoli from north beach in San Francisco. Both are good, but Romolo’s really is far better. All three people who tasted both agreed that it wasn’t super close. Romolo’s have a clear and delightful flavor, a better shell, and a hint of citrus in the filling that makes it even better. You can’t go wrong with either, but you can go right.“

The location is a small storefront for their larger bakery operations.

Also located across the street from the new Stanford Medicine campus in Redwood City, I stop for a macchiato and a pastry whenever I drop my car off for service nearby.“

The cookies were fresh, soft in the middle, and had just the right amount of sweetness without being over the top. The staff was friendly and didn't rush anyone, which made the visit feel relaxed. “I love love LOVE The Local Spot! The Local Spot is the perfect one-stop shop for tasty goodies and locally-made gifts. The owners of the shop (who are super friendly and care deeply about the local community) have done a wonderful job of creating a lovely space to promote local artists and vendors. On top of that, their baked goods are delicious and always brighten up my day! My favorites are their pumpkin loaf and their scones. I especially love the maple bacon scone! They also have a vendor who sells coffee drinks and several snack vendor options. Dozens of local makers and vendors sell their items through this location, which has been really fun for me to peruse since it’s been hard for me to make it out to craft fairs after becoming a parent. The artists come by to restock their shelves and new vendors are added often, so there’s always plenty of new items coming through to check out. “I am so happy I found Amusante while browsing bakeries in San Mateo. I got a chiffon cake, yuzu, churro, and sweet potato financiers as well as a chocolate chiffon slice with cream. The chiffon cake was light and spongy. The financiers were buttery and had a slight chewiness. All were not too sweet and very delicious. I had no problems with ordering and pickup. Thank you!“

The donuts, croissants, and other sweets are great, and I enjoy their breakfast food as well. They do a solid breakfast wrap, breakfast bagels, and they have iced & hot coffee as well as bananas and other drinks.

“The chocolate cream cheese cake was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had!!! Simply amazing! I enjoyed the different textures and flavors that I got with each bite. I also tried the rose, raspberry, and pistachio cake which was light, refreshing, and delicious (and gluten-free), but with a different texture than the chocolate cake. Both cakes were so unique and delightful, but I especially love chocolate - and this particular chocolate cake was absolutely phenomenal!“

The baked goods are absolutely amazing. The challah is incredible fresh, soft, delicious, and seriously hard to stop eating.
They also offer a gluten free challah option, which is such a great bonus.

And then there’s the gluten free brownie… Phenomenal ! ! !
The tahini cookie is also dangerously good, and honestly, I haven’t met a dessert here that I didn’t like.

I’m literally writing this review right now and my mouth is watering, which probably means brownie time is approaching very soon. 😂

One important tip: make sure to order special items ahead by email or phone.
These things disappear FAST, apparently they have a mysterious habit of finding their way directly into people’s stomachs.

Everything tastes fresh, creative, and made with real care and love.
And most importantly it’s all KOSHER !
