“picked this place at random on Google, as I was just passing through denver. was pleasantly surprised. the food was inexpensive and very flavorful. the rice comes on the plate in a heart shape! I have only eaten there once, but if i am in the neighborhood, Ill for sure go back“
“The only bad thing I have to say about this place, is that it's located in Littleton and 45 minutes from my house. Regardless, I would gladly make that drive daily if I could, this was hands down some of the best sushi I've had not only in Denver, but in the US. We ordered the Omakase, there was an $80, $100, and $120 option, and we chose the later. The fish was exquisite, even the mackerel, which is a relatively fishy fish, was clean and melt in your mouth buttery. Each piece of Sushi was artfully prepared, simple but full of flavor. Some of the highlights were the Japanese mackerel, red snapper, and king salmon. The sushi chefs were friendly and did shots of sake with us, and accommodated any requests we had. Our Server was Hailey, and she too, was friendly and helpful, and even though this was place was packed, she was hustling to get every table their orders, in fact all the servers were. Do not pass up this restaurant, it is 100% worth the drive if you're on another side of town, and if you're not, why aren't you there already!“
“We LOVE this place! Everything we've tried is delicious. My older kiddo loves the hibachi chicken with extra yum-yum sauce. My younger one always gets the yaki soba noodles with chicken. I've had the chicken katsu curry, which was also amazing. My husband's and my favorite is the spicy tuna nachos - soooooooo good!“
“I first heard of Wellness Sushi when they sold their products at Nooch Market (RIP), but never had a chance to try it until last night. I loved everything I ordered, Krunchy Krab, Ohnagi Roll, and Love in the Edo. I can't wait to go back again!“
“Dewy was amazing. Knowledgeable, conversational and made the experience worthwhile. From the managers to staff everyone was attentive and we had a unique experience from the creative sushi to deserts. All made in house, fresh with a special touch we haven't see elsewhere. Highly recommend. Pricing is $$$ for this experience.“
“I had the pleasure to eat at this fine establishment over the weekend with some great people! Let’s just say Sushi Den do not disappoint for my fist experience and will definitely be back. Everything was awesome from the cocktails to the Nigiri and high end Whisky!“
“If you're looking for something a little bit different but not off the deep end strange, then this is a good restaurant to try. The restaurant appeared to be very clean. Because my wife and I had never been to this restaurant we didn't know what or how to order the meals, but the cashier was very Informative and went the extra step to make recommendations. The food was good. We visited for dinner, but I would imagine it would make more sense to go for lunch, because of the way the food is served. People get their meal on a tray then they walk to their seat, and when they're done they take their tray and put it on the counter. I know this sounds kind of random and it felt random, that's why I mention it. The price is affordable there were 2 of us and we didn't spend over 30 bucks. I would recommend this place to a friend especially if you're looking for something different, clean, affordable, and most importantly tasty.Parking: Reasturant is in a shopping center. The parking lot is big and busy, but there is always parking available.Kid-friendliness: They dont have a play place, but It's as kid friendly as anywhere else.Wheelchair accessibility: I don't recall any handicap section that doesn't mean there wasn't one, but the way the reasturant is set up, somebody with a wheelchair would have no issues ordering their food and pulling up to a table.“
“All five stars. Denver can be a challenging place for sushi. Mid tier sushi is top tier price.Uchi provides top tier sushi... at a top tier price. But over the top service. Sit at the sushi bar and ask for Thad. He made our time extremely special.Make sure you order fish you haven't had. And fish you have had. It will taste completely different. 10x better“
“This is my go to spot for takeout! I love their sushi and the spicy edamame is my favorite. Reasonable prices, delicious food and for takeout, everything is prepared pretty quickly and the employees are always so nice. I never get tired of ordering from here!“
“Great atmosphere, attentive and caring staff, and even better food!I was blown away by the presentation. The sushi was laid out on a boat with a mini ice sculpture and smoky dry ice.Mika Sushi is a must if you love sushi! I will definitely be back!“
“Went in for an early Valentine's Day dinner. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, both our server Nura and Chef Carlos were extremely knowledgeable and made the whole experience an amazing night 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be coming “
“Everything we ordered tasted great and came out quickly. When we were writing in our order we had a question about something on the specials board that wasn't on the menu, but when the server picked up our order they didn't review it with us so we didn't get a chance to ask about the special. We went up to the counter to ask before they put the order in and other than that the servers were very attentive. The owner/manager came out to ask how our meal was which I thought was a nice touch, he was very kind and personable. The restaurant was also very clean and well kept. Overall a great experience and I'll be going back!“
“I had been wanting to try this place for awhile. Unfortunately, their hours had changed and we missed them a couple of times.Since traffic was not bad, we took the other route back from the airport. Arriving about 1:30pm, I had to contend with a few other drivers and geese in the parking. The restaurant still had a few patrons from the lunch hour. They had a few different chef's special rolls that we found intriguing. We settled on the Bincho, Taco, Unagi, and Kanpachi Nigiri with Fantastic Roll (Tuna, salmon, mango, avocado & fried onion inside, mix green salad, topped withstrawberry sauce); Naruto Roll (yellowtail; cucumber wrapped with avocado & masa), Toro Trio (Yellowtail toro avocado and scalllion topped with toro of tuna and salmon and chef's special sauce). The Toro Trio was our favorite. There are a couple of more rolls that we are interested in trying so it seems another visit is warranted.“
“I lived in Japan for 3 years and fell in love with the food. Katsu Ramen looks like restaurants in Japan: rubber examples of meals showcased, picture menus, clean - Asian decor, great ordering system & service. Their miso soup is scrumptious. So is their gyoza! The Katsu Don was good but was missing the flavor I remember. It was a bit dry, with more rice to meat ratio. We're going back again though and trying a different dish“
“100% my new favorite place to get sushi! I came across this place the other day and after reading all the reviews I knew I had to check this place out. Cannot beat their happy hour which is also on the weekends which is so nice. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, can't wait to go back!“
“Pretty good place. I've had takeout a couple times at this point and they're very welcoming. While some of their sushi is about as expensive as you'd expect from a sushi place, they have a couple budget rolls that are of far higher quality than the grocery-store stuff yet competitive in price. That's amazing on its own and probably explains their popularity a bit. From what I've discussed with other customers while waiting for my food, everyone has nothing but good things to say.Definitely a place worth visiting.“
“The sushi was superb and the service very good. But the noise level made it not a very pleasant experience. After the music was turned off it was better. A close table of 8 were loud - with no sound dampening features their laughter and conversations were unpleasant.“
“This is not your typical sushi experience! (In a great kind of way!)The food was incredibly fresh, delicate, and delectable; the service was attentive, grounded, and kind; and the decor and ambiance were classy and charming.Everything we tried was wonderful:* The dragon roll* The pink lady roll* The philly roll* A few handrolls (spicy tuna, Rocky mountain, unagi). Btw, "open-faced style" has a presentation and composition, and is worth a try.* House made dessert (tonight, we had a banana custard mousse, which was delicious)So glad we discovered this place!“
“My friends really like it here so that's what keeps me returning. Been here twice & got a ramen with extra corn and they gave me extra pork instead. Normally I don't send food back but I can't eat pork, so had to reluctantly call the waitress over to remake it. By the time I got my bowl everyone else had about finished up eating, so it was a less pleasant experience2nd time I did a build-your-own poke bowl; pretty decent but they were stingy on the sauces. Dry poke bowl made it seem more like a rice bowl.Would still return despite the discrepancies in quality. Hopefully the 3rd times the charm with this place.I recommend the chicken karaage & creamy chicken ramen!“
“Fantastic sushi and fairly affordable. We are visiting Denver, and we loved the quality so much that we went a second time during our trip. 2 Hour parking is available along the road. There was no wait on a Friday and on Sunday. Would absolutely return. The rolls pictured are the Orenji, Red Dragon Roll and the scallop rolls x2“
“Wonderful Server I believe her name was Christina I'm not for sure but she was excellent we had a large party and she handled it like a professional. All of the sushi was excellent. The only gripe I had was we ordered the spicey edimame and it tasted very fishy... Other than that everything was great. I will be back I just won't be ordering the edimame next time.“
“It has the most delicious Japanese food and most notably, great hospitality. If you're in Denver, this is the place to go for a delicious meal. Please call ahead for reservations. My friends rave about the food here. Don't forget to try the chocolate cake and pineapple flip cake. We will probably go back tonight because we loved it so much. I had the tofu steak and spicy garlic edema beans. Gyoza, paneo oysters, baby back ribs and teriyaki chicken. The sushi rolls were good too!“
“The waiter was excellent. He gave us the best suggestion and the right amount to get for 5 people, especially when something is really good so we need two or more orders! The food is second to none. My one wine who does not normally eat fish, will at Matsuhisa. Every bite is delectable. My son's girlfriend took one bite of her toro sashimi and began crying because she couldn't believe how delicious it was! The cocktail drinks are just as amazing in taste and presentation, as the food!“
“This place is absolutely amazing! The attention to detail in both the design of the restaurant and food is incredible. You feel like you are in Japan once you enter the restaurant. The spicy tuna dish is one of the best I have had. Main dish was delicious. I will definitely be coming back and bringing friends. Awesome experience!“
“I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and I’m never disappointed. The fried rice is the best fried rice i’ve ever had! I always get the hibachi chicken with extra yum yum sauce, and it’s so flavorful, well seasoned, and delicious. If you like hibachi style food you’ll love it here. The restaurant itself is clean, service is quick, and friendly.“
“Fantastic vegan sushi. There is a separate vegan menu so it’s clear and stress-free. All-day “happy hour” on Sundays with great deals for food and drinks. Can’t go wrong with their food, but I especially recommend the brussels sprout appetizer, unami express vegan roll, and the vegan hot popper. Their cocktails are good but are often too sweet for my taste. Does get busier in the evenings, but good vibe and pretty casual.Dietary restrictions: Vegan menu, labeled options. Fantastic vegan food!!“
“This place is really such a local gem! My wife and I live nearby and this has become our go to spot! Every meal is delicious and the sushi is so fresh. Their sushi combo meals come with soup and salad and let me tell you, the rolls aren’t small! And finally…the staff is welcoming and really on point! Would highly recommend!!!!“
“My first time tried Sawara Sushi!! Very very satisfied!! Great service, even greater food!! I would say one of the best sushi spot in Denver in terms of food quality, taste, presentation, and definitely service. Very kind and friendly server, and from the menus that we ordered, the rolls and the sashimi, they are amazing!! Totally recommending this place for sure and definitely will return for sushi craves for sure!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“I am addicted to this place. I am in love with their Shoyu ramen with soft boiled egg and their vegetable tempura. There are many options for other ramen as well as other Japanese dishes and sushi. It's small but cozy. I just love it!“
“We came here for the first time the other night and it was amazing. The yellowtail jalapeño is always a favorite of mine and it was great here. The hot sake and service were also wonderful. We will definitely be back! Hopefully while the guy with the tricks and jokes is working.“
“Great price ($30.95 for dinner AYCE) with great selections for all you can eat. Love the Yellow Brick Rolls, Gal Bi, Ikura Nigiri, and last but not least poukei bowl.Wish they would open in Colorado Springs, so I can eat here more often. Service is always quick and we always left the place feeling satisfied.“
“My favorite roll is Ototo rolls, Raw plate is the best sashimi. The yellowtail sashimi is soft like butter , like it melt in your mouth lol. Salmon belly roll is fatty in a good way. Even tho there’s not much of choices for sushi roll compare to Sushi Den , but what they have are delicious and quality.“
“Went here for valentines dinner before the nuggets game. We got hooked up with the hosts favorite table, our service was fantastic, and the food was great! We made it in time for the happy hour menu, that was totally worth it! Love this place.“
“Best ramen ever. I am new to the whole real ramen thing but since I found NEKO Ramen & Rice. its literally all I'm in the mood to eat its both filling and decent priced. You get what you want the real ramen experience. If it was all you could eat I would have it everyday. It the bomb best place ever can't wait to go get more...!!!“
“This is a great Chinese take-out place! Highly recommend it. The Mongolian Beef and Hot and Sour soup is best I’ve had in Denver. The Kung Pao chicken is very very good, so is the Sesame chicken. It’s also 30%+ cheaper than all the other places. It’s our new go to, I haven’t had a bad dish here yet.“
“This is one of our go to sushi places. The sweet potato roll and tempura shrimp roll. My son loves their udon noodles. The Boston roll is good too. My husband likes the spicy rolls. The service is always friendly. The atmosphere is a small place for eat in but they also have take out. In your looking for a good local sushi place give this place a try.“
“If you’re passing by this place and checking the reviews to see if it’s worth it like I was I can’t urge you enough of do yourself a favor and stop in for the most delicious bowl of ramen you’ve ever had. This not only nourished my stomach but also nourished my soul. Spicy ramen with Beef was amazing but I can’t imagine you could go wrong with anything here.“
“We tried several things, all excellent. Sushi varieties and udon noodle bowl so yummy that we got another for take home for lunch next day. Toro melted in your mouth - more please!Split decision on popular diablo ramen but husband practically licked the bowl. Reg miso and udon more my style. Gyoza delicious, prepared to perfection by only Chinami, an authentic Japanese American. Green tea cheesecake was a nice finish. Kat was an outstanding knowledgeable server with great suggestions. Comfortable cool looking atmosphere. Overall a bit more expensive as good sushi is, but excellent quality and a lovely experience.“
“I was on my way someplace else when I saw the sign for this place. It has a lovely name and a cute sign, so I thought, why not try something new?I ordered the lunch combination mushroom chicken and it was delicious. A great portion size for only $10.The atmosphere here was the best part. It's a very cozy hole-in-the-wall type place. Very easy listening music at a comfortable volume. The room temperature was just right.Friendly staff who greeted me right away and the food arrived fast and was piping hot.Overall, Yummy Station was just as nice as the name and sign indicated! Happy to find a new spot for lunch.“
“Definitely come for the food... enjoy the casual atmosphere with service that is outstanding. The Bentto Box we had was amazing, the sushi was the freshest we have had in a long time. With their ability to buy in bulk across many restaurants, they can fly in fish every other day. Make sure to ask what specials they have. Every day they get different fish that are available in smaller quantities that are rarely the same. Finally, the Tempura was spectacular. The taste, the presentation, both spectacular. You can taste the skills, attention to detail, and the care even in this simple dish, not to mention the sushi. If you like sake, be sure to look at their drink menu. Their bottles run the spectrum across many styles, and are available at all price points. They have been updating their menu, so don't rely on the menu on the internet. When we arrived, the prices were lower than those on the site, and if you have had an authentic dish elsewhere, try it here as well .the differences in regional takes are notable (think biscuits in the South vs Minnesota). Much of what we had was more true to origiin instead of being the usual that has been highly Americanized, both to myself and to other patrons that said it was much like made in the home. If you are a Sushi person, make sure to bring a few folks and sit at the Sushi bar. This experience was so good, we can't wait to try their other restaurants. Shout out to all the staff, and the chefs!Kid-friendliness: They have an atmosphere where kids that are able to sit and spend time with the family can have a great first experience with the cuisine.“
“I grew up in Seattle and Seattle has amazing teriyaki. If you’ve been there you know. I’ve never been able to find anything like it outside of the Seattle area. Then I came here. It’s the closest thing to Seattle teriyaki that I’ve ever found outside of Seattle. I got the spicy chicken and gyoza. The food was delicious. My only complaint would be they don’t give you a lot of meat and they didn’t give a gyoza sauce to go with the gyoza. The service was fast and friendly. The decorations were fine. Prices were good (about 13 dollars for what I got no drink).“
“A Flavorful Escape in Montclair, DenverStep into a world of flavor at Kassai Sushi, nestled in Denver's charming Montclair neighborhood. This zen oasis offers a modern twist on classic sushi favorites, served with a smile. The Spider Roll, a crispy delight of soft-shell crab, and the Spicy Shrimp Roll with just the right kick, were our favorites. Paired with the comforting warmth of their Miso Soup, it was a meal to remember. So good, we found ourselves back the next day! Whether you're a sushi pro or a newbie, Kassai Sushi is a must-visit for its friendly service, incredible food, and serene vibe.Kid-friendliness: We brought our 8 month old.“
“Best dining experience I’ve had in a long time!Staff is attentive and super knowledgeable. Sushi bar was awesome, the chefs are fun and friendly and gave a lot of delicious recommendations! They also have an exquisite sake selection, including some super rare sake that is made for the emperor of Japan???Vegetarian options: Chefs were super friendly and willing to work with me and my friends, one of which is a vegetarian. She got a full meal and it wasn’t just salad!“
“Hidden at the back of the Sakura Square on 18th St. Reminds me of restaurants I grew on eating at back on Guam. The food was the closest to familiar flavors and comfort I've had since moving to CO. I brought my sister here while she was visiting and we both were happy with the nostalgia. We had the teriyaki chicken and chicken cutlet, both were better than the other Japanese restaurants I've been to here.“
“Sushi Hai has always been our go to for Sushi, it’s always the best quality, the sushi boats are always so well put together with flowers and lights it makes the dining out experience so special. Don’t miss out on the Monkey Brain app and the Surf & Turf roll, they are by far the best in Colorado.“
“This restaurant was wonderful, the food, atmosphere, and staff were amazing. Our server Wei Wei’s people skills and approachability, as well as his recommendations and food item descriptions were top tier. I will definitely be returning as well as recommending this wonderful establishment to many people for years to come.“
“I love coming here for lunch. It's my little oasis away from work. The girl who works here, KiKi, is terrific!! I call my combo order in on my way there so I don't waste any of my lunch time waiting. I have the entire time to kick back, listen to my book and enjoy the atmosphere, food and wonderful staff. This place is “
“Ryan provided us with exceptional service and made my husband's birthday so very special. He walked us through the entire menu and provided us with informative recommendations. The food is amazing as well as the saki flight!! ..We will definitely be back! Thank you again for a wonderful night!“
“perfect for a date night, the lounge is open on fri and saturday and i went on Saturday and was seated in the lounge. the music is perfect for vibing and the servers were so sweet, especially Annie! sushi was well prepared and so was the takoyaki appetizer.“
“Very small intimate hand-roll sushi spot. Delicious. Always fresh. Each roll made as you finish the last. Friendly servers. Great wine, beer, saki, and whisky selection. It’s an our favorite spot! Make sure you get a Reservation!Dietary restrictions: Gluten and veggie friendly!“
