“I already love Sushi Den and when they came out with this new omakase style restaurant it did not disappoint. They way they talk about where they sourced the rice to the detail of what type of vinegar it uses on the rice. What was noted is how large the green tea mug is- that’s fantastic, and the bowl of edamame was also large. Minus a star reasoning- good food, quaint location, and friendly service, but nothing felt like “wow, I will brag about that meal”. And there are some sushi meals that I still think about today. So 4 is that’s it’s a good place to go, you’ll have really good meal, and it’ll be at the same cost of other places.“

“I wanted to eat a bagel and drink some wine after going to the movies, so I saw some carnivorous plants instead. Since I was still hungry and thirsty I got a haircut. My hair was upgraded and I also drunk a bottle of wine. I got a tattoo afterwards. My leg looks fantastic and my bagel was also delicious, but something was missing. I got some sushi. “Went for a late lunch with a friend - there was a wonderful, quiet, relaxed atmosphere which I greatly appreciated. The booths by the window are generously sized and very comfortable. We feasted on specialty rolls, beautifully presented, and given their heft, consider the price point to be very reasonable. Everyone was so very nice and the food was (very, very good) excellent. Happy Hour pricing was actually quit generous. All in all, just a really great place. I will be back.“

“My delivery driver got stuck in my elevator for 30 min (Wayne) and he handled it so gracefully. I called the fire dept for him but he was calm and kind the whole time. I felt horrible but what amazing customer service! Wayne really handled a stressful situation the best way possible. I have ordered here forever, and wlll continue to bc of him. “I brought my three kids here with me and I was really impressed by how good everything we ordered was. We ordered a variety of items and they were all delicious - Black Dragon, Korean kimchi fried rice, and Tonkatsu ramen. Even the salad was good and had high quality greens instead of plain lettuce. Amazingly attentive service. Even more amazing is that all the kids enjoyed the dinner.“

“Finn was absolutely amazing! We came in to celebrate our anniversary, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. He was incredibly thoughtful throughout the entire experience.

One thing that really stood out was the surprise anniversary cake. He even brought it in from behind so my wife wouldn’t see it and the surprise wouldn’t be ruined. That small detail really showed how much he cared about making our anniversary special.

The food was AMAZING — easily 10/10. We went with Finn’s recommendations, and I’m so glad we did because everything was delicious.

“I ordered the chicken miso ramen for take out -- i didn't realize until I was eating it that I've actually never had *restaurant* chicken ramen before (only ever chasu pork restaurant ramen, or chicken instant ramen). It was absolutely delicious! Not quite as heavy and creamy as chasu pork ramen, which was what I was craving. It was still plenty hearty and satisfying, while also being a more fresh option than traditional ramen. I didn't stay long in the shop, but it had a great atmosphere!“

The elevator was broken so we had to go through the back of the burger restaurant and enter through the back entrance of sushi by scratch, and although they apologized for the “inconvenience”, we thought it actually made the experience more unique! “My husband and I were craving a warm and delicious pho. Umami sushi and pho, a brand-new establishment in town, exceeded our expectations from the moment we entered. The aroma of delectable and fresh food was exceptional. We ordered a couple of pho and the broth's flavor was intensely delicious and warming. The fresh vegetables tasted remarkably fresh. The entire venue was nice and neat, and the staff were very friendly, making us feel at home. We will definitely return soon, eager to try their sushi. I highly recommend stopping by for succulent pho and sushi. Umami Sushi bar and Pho es Nuevo aquí en Aurora, fuimos por primera vez y pasó la prueba del sabor. El caldo tenía mucho sabor y sustancia. “The food and service were great, but the hidden “employee wellness fee” sullied the experience. I had the vegan hot popper and vegan South Pacific, both were phenomenal. Their miso soup was also delicious. When it came time to pay I asked why there was a 3% fee tacked on to the bill and asked the waitress to take it off, which she did begrudgingly. “Truly the best sushi in Denver and one of my most favorite restaurants ever! I absolutely love the heaven Roll and the Taki black pepper tuna rolls! I have gone to many coastal restaurants that serve sushi and none of them compare to Shiso sushi bar! They also have some nice non-fish items such as the teriyaki chicken bowl, my friend had ordered that before and it was really good! They truly are one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. They take extra precaution for cleanliness, customer service and quality of their food and I appreciate that so much! I often times will order their food to go as well and it always is a hit! Their dining service is nice as well and there is quite a bit of parking which is always a convenient addition to any restaurant. The owner Ken is a great guy and always remembers us and truly appreciates his customer base. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and like I said it’s one of my favorites! It’s also very close to Sloans Lake which is the perfect activity to do before dining in, check them out!“

“I always stop by here for a poke bowl coming home from the airport. And every time the poke bowl is fresh, nicely put together, and reasonably priced! It's run by a an older couple in an Asian market, very unassuming outside but absolutely delicious!

Will continue to come by for my post-airport travel meal!“
