“Had a great first experience with friends at Spuntino. The staff are all highly experienced, knowledgeable, and attentive. Our visit will be remembered for the high-quality wine selection, the delicious Alce Crudo and warm olives we shared, and, of course, the decadent house-made pasta. I had the special, a cozy and familiar sweet potato and honey tortellini with pecorino. I very much look forward to my next visit.”

“There are some really good Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants in Denver: Glo, Ginger Pig, Mister Oso... Hop Alley didn't live up to the hype for me. Everything was good, but not great. The service was fine, and I appreciated the food coming out quickly, but the pace felt rushed. The cocktails were weird twists on bar classics, and we've had better Chinese food elsewhere in Denver. Overall, really glad we tried it, but we'll be sticking to our preferred staples in RiNo.”

The staff was fantastic from Alexander Moon (GM) to Billie (bartender with the right amount of sass, playfullness and desire to please). NOW FOR THE FOOD. Well I went back 2x over the 3 days the food was so good, I sat at the bar (a lot of fun since I was by myself) and felt totally welcome and comfortable. THE CEVICHE and BROCOLLI were to die for. I have 4 orders of Ceviche. I love this place and will be back”

“This is the second time I've been here and both times I was so impressed with the attentiveness of the staff and how willing they are to take the time to get you a cocktail that's perfect. There are lots to choose from, so they're happy to guide you and they'll also ask what you like and cheerfully recommend something from a past menu if it seems like a fit. The food is also outstanding. Both times I've gotten the ciabatta and I craved it for days after. Last night we also got the deviled eggs (so creamy!), scallops, and latkes, all delicious. The speakeasy aspect is cute the first time but since we got there when it opened this time it was kind of silly because everyone was crowded into the tiny room up front and had to move back every time they opened the door. Once you're in, though, everything is cozy and charming and lovely. Afterwards, we went to the Occidental next door and the staff was equally delightful. I haven't experienced such cheerful and helpful waitstaff probably ever.”

Appetizers- chickpea fritter, tomato burrata, and baby carrots. The chickpea fritter had a very smooth consistency like silken tofu. It was so yummy.
Entrees- braised cabbage and trout. The braised cabbage was so delicious.
We also ordered a few drinks. I had make me a gin cocktail and it was just ok. My friends enjoyed their drinks.”

The spicy chicken ramen is hands down the best, love all of the bao buns, eggplant is my favorite, but can’t go wrong with crab or pork belly ones either. “Pre TSO concert lunch. Trying to find out if they were open today was a challenge I think the website reservation system was not operating correctly. Finally I found they were fully booked for the day which meant I could get my usual seat at the bar. I arrived for 1 pm opening and was told they would be open 1:30 or 2. I had a view from my car and about 5 minutes later (about 1:10) they opened. I mention this because the woman who had the unenviable task of turning people away did it such a pleasant way that it was hard to be upset. I always sit at the bar since I come solo. Service was excellent and the food was actually better than I remember it being. As with all things all it takes is one person to make a visit memorable. The door-woman was one of them and the bartender, Kandra, was the other. If your party is 2 or more always make a reservation. If you are flying solo get in line early to grab open seating in the bar.”

They dress presentable, they act professional, and they are genuinely attentive to your order. The food is always fresh, warm and flavor is on point. “I'm not an expert. I don't know what makes anything the best. I know I like Taco Star off Peoria because the staff is pleasant, the food tastes good, satisfies my hunger and portions are huge. I've had the chorizo burrito and carne asada burrito and chips several times. My wife had the supreme veg burrito each under twelve bucks and always enough for two meals (three in my wife's case - she eats like a bird). Good food at a great price!”

I usually (almost always) go through the drive through and it is fast and the food is always hot and delicious. I also love their Adobada (slow cooked pork).”

The atmosphere is awesome due to the incredible décor, large screen, a multitude of different type of seating, large TV’s located all around the bar! The service and restaurant is second to none! The bartenders are so professional and friendly. Believe it or not we were actually asked if we were satisfied with our drinks! We were politely and professionally served our many food and drink selections! When our pizza slices were served, my mouth dropped, because I have never seen slices of pizza so huge! I have not had a slice of pizza that was so good with just the right amount of tasty toppings on mine! We ordered chicken wings, half naked and half buffalo wing sauce. The chicken wings had been fried to perfection and was so good we could not make up our minds which type of chicken wings was the best, so we called it a pleasingly tie!”

We ordered duck ramen and bibimbap. Our duck ramen was very tasty with creamy broth and duck meat. However we were hoping the the bibimbap to be hot but it was served to us cold which we were not expecting. Overall definitely recommend Uncle for Ramen.”

“We celebrated a birthday dinner at Shanahan's Steakhouse and had a wonderful experience. The porterhouse steak was cooked perfectly, on ripping hot (and buttered!) plates. The French onion soup and calamari with shishito peppers made for great starters. The staff surprised us with a delicious chocolate dessert topped with a candle, which made the evening extra special. The service was excellent, and the ambience warm and elegant—a perfect spot for a memorable celebration.”

“I come here every single year on the same day for my first date anniversary! They've even accomodated our whole family on our wedding day at their other location! I've always loved them since they first opened. The service & ambiance is always top notch. Their Vietnamese coffee is tasty, with a mix of spices! One of my fave coffees in Denver.

I do think expanding to 3 locations after all this time has maybe created a level of quality control that can't be helped.

Unfortunately, it's hard to come as often now because the food has changed significantly since the beginning. The menu itself hasn't changed, so we order the same things almost every time. Their congee which used to be balanced & complex is now heavily salted/inedible (we bring it home & make a huge pot with it and still can't reduce all the salt.) Their duck fried rice is mainly oil now, and the rice soaks it in, becoming soggy. This has been the case the last few times we've stopped by or brought friends.

Their chilaquiles is still consistently enjoyable, alongside the breakfast burrito. It's just a shame a lot of the Asian brunch items that made them a standout before are no longer good.

We'll still come every year, same as always since it has such a big piece of our hearts, and hopefully the food will get back on track someday.”

“I have been going there for over 40 years. It is one of the best family restaurants in the neighborhood. My favorites are the Greek Chicken and Mexican Hamburger wings. The service is very personal; they all know you by name, and hugs are a delight. The owners are the best and treat you like you are part of the family. Every holiday, the decorations are professionally set up making the atmosphere calming and enjoyable to look at. They are big supporters of the Girl Scouts. “We celebrated a birthday dinner at Shanahan's Steakhouse and had a wonderful experience. The porterhouse steak was cooked perfectly, on ripping hot (and buttered!) plates. The French onion soup and calamari with shishito peppers made for great starters. The staff surprised us with a delicious chocolate dessert topped with a candle, which made the evening extra special. The service was excellent, and the ambience warm and elegant—a perfect spot for a memorable celebration.”

I brought my family in to eat.. it was our first time eating some of the delicious seafood they offer and Gus went over the whole appetizers and dinner and how to completely enjoy every bite!! Not only was everything we tried ( I'm seriously going to dream about the harissa eggplant fries) but the attention to detail and the fresh flavors were out of this world! Additionally, special attention was paid to our food allergies and It was a huge weight off our shoulders to not have to worry about that! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it! We went with our 3 kids (13, 10 and 10), they ordered off the kids menu and loved the fettuccini Alfredo. The service was excellent, and our server, Gillian was on point. I can’t say enough good things about him. We will most definitely be back. I would recommend this place to anyone. This place is really nice and intimate feeling. Great for a date night or a family dinner, so long you have well behaved kids who love good food.”

“Went with my family to the Holiday tea at the Brown Palace. It feels like you're transported to Chicago or NY, with all the festive decorations and the grand atrium. You get to choose a tea and the fixed food comes after, including 2 types of scones, 3 types of sandwiches, and 3 different small desserts. At first glance, the food seems underwhelming, but it'll definitely fill you up and it's delicious - we even took home a box of leftovers! (a small note, the sandwiches are pretty average, but everything else was amazing!) Take your time, enjoy the tea and food, look around, sit and listen to the music!”

Thats 5 star for me automatically.The waiter I received was very respectful and kind, and made sure we were all ready to order with confidence. I ordered pulled pork, Texas sausage and for my sides I got pit beans with mac and cheese. Don't even get me started on that pork, it was juicy and had amazing flavor. Now let me tell y'all I am for Texas and thats the best texas sausage I've ever had!! The mac was cheesy and seasoned.The pit beans were delicious.To finish it all off, I got an Dulce De Leche Carlota. I am not a dessert person but it was pretty decent. I even got to meet the owner. He was so sweet and had an amazing aura to him and humble.”
