“I did some research on local restaurants before my 3 day trip to Denver and was so happy to have found Lucina Eatery. Let's start with the vibe and atmosphere. I felt right at home. The staff was fantastic from Alexander Moon (GM) to Billie (bartender with the right amount of sass, playfullness and desire to please). NOW FOR THE FOOD. Well I went back 2x over the 3 days the food was so good, I sat at the bar (a lot of fun since I was by myself) and felt totally welcome and comfortable. THE CEVICHE and BROCOLLI were to die for. I have 4 orders of Ceviche. I love this place and will be back”

“Talk about filling a void you never knew existed! Holy Moses! We decided to stop in here since it’s so close to the VRBO, and good lord am I glad we did! My wife ordered the original, MIL and I ordered the Al Pastor, and I have never been so happy and sad at the same time! The sandwich was divine! I can’t stand that it’s gone but so happy I had it. Haha the atmosphere in the place is so down to earth and raw with it’s authenticity its a unique feel in todays gentrified aesthetics. AJ the owner (I believe) was super accommodating and extremely approachable and friendly. Good chance that we will try and make a stop before we go home again!

My wife has a gluten allergy, and we were there for her birthday and could not have dessert. “Major Tom is one of my favorite spots in Denver. The staff is incredible, and the cocktails are inventive, thoughtful, and seriously delicious. They even have a mezcal cocktail that I’m obsessed with—and I absolutely hate mezcal. That’s the magic of Major Tom: somehow they can change your mind.

And DO NOT skip the chickpea fritters. I don’t know what kind of black magic is happening in that kitchen, but they are sooo good.

I also love their occasional pop-ups. It’s always fun to see talented chefs collaborate and bring something new to the space. Great drinks, great food, great people, and always a reason to come back.”

“We had reservations for an early dinner at Alma Fonda Fina! It is a Michelin Star Restaurant and let me tell you, they earned it! This wasn't about a meal to satisfy your hunger-this was a complete experience! One where you would see the beautiful plating, smell the aromas, take a bite, listen to your palate, then feel your taste buds sing! To feel individual flavors alone, yet understand the pairings! Our favorite dish was the scallops in tomato butter! May have been the best thing I have ever tasted in my life! The coolest part of this was we got our reservations to sit at the Chef's Counter! It is seating directly facing the kitchen and prep area where you can watch the culinary staff do their magic! We watched them prepare each dish right in front of us! The Chef's were very informative and attentive! Another incredible experience in itself!”

Came here last night after getting glutened by a new Asian restaurant in town and was pretty down and trying to salvage the night - told Zuri about this and she came back with their whole menu highlighted with what I could and couldn’t have to make it easy for me!! Truly made my night, made me feel comfortable eating and on top of it everything was amazing! Loved the truffle edamame, 3 piece, and DIY Tamaki. Zuri was wonderful - will definitely be coming back! “I rarely go to Dennys but I was in the mood for simple breakfast and our sweet waiter Domingo made my experience here. The room is more spacious and cleanly than a typical Dennys. The food was just right as expected. The Denver Mile High Omelette had crisp bits of pork ham and creamy American cheese. Although I am satisfied with the food I am more satisfied by Domingos friendly smile and attentive service.”

“Pre TSO concert lunch. Trying to find out if they were open today was a challenge I think the website reservation system was not operating correctly. Finally I found they were fully booked for the day which meant I could get my usual seat at the bar. I arrived for 1 pm opening and was told they would be open 1:30 or 2. I had a view from my car and about 5 minutes later (about 1:10) they opened. I mention this because the woman who had the unenviable task of turning people away did it such a pleasant way that it was hard to be upset. I always sit at the bar since I come solo. Service was excellent and the food was actually better than I remember it being. As with all things all it takes is one person to make a visit memorable. The door-woman was one of them and the bartender, Kandra, was the other. If your party is 2 or more always make a reservation. If you are flying solo get in line early to grab open seating in the bar.”

I tied a seasonal (autumn) mocha called Nana’s, my partner enjoyed a pumpkin spice latte and the Mighty Aphrodite avocado toast, I had a taste of the A toast it was delicious. Everything was great, servers have character, we enjoyed ourselves !”

“**2025 update - I recently ordered lactation cookies from Courtney and started them a couple days before my c section delivery and I swear they made such a big difference in my milk supply coming in right away - and are so good I had to tell my husband they were off limits! I am now completely hooked and reorder every two weeks. If you’re a new mom, soon to be mom, or just want to give the new mom in your life a gift - order these ASAP.

10/10 recommend! We used flour power for our wedding and she made the most amazing cake pops and mini Oreo cheesecake bites - all of our guests are still raving about them 2 years later! She worked with us to customize the order to match the aesthetic and everything was delicious. She has since made other treats such as cookie bars, cake pops, and birthday cakes and it never disappoints! Book her today - you won’t regret it.”

The atmosphere is awesome due to the incredible décor, large screen, a multitude of different type of seating, large TV’s located all around the bar! The service and restaurant is second to none! The bartenders are so professional and friendly. Believe it or not we were actually asked if we were satisfied with our drinks! We were politely and professionally served our many food and drink selections! When our pizza slices were served, my mouth dropped, because I have never seen slices of pizza so huge! I have not had a slice of pizza that was so good with just the right amount of tasty toppings on mine! We ordered chicken wings, half naked and half buffalo wing sauce. The chicken wings had been fried to perfection and was so good we could not make up our minds which type of chicken wings was the best, so we called it a pleasingly tie!”

“Generally speaking the food is consistent. House made dumplings and noodles can’t be compared. I should have written something years ago about how great they are. They have another location in Washington Park but I haven’t visited. Overall my family and friends have coming over the years and we are just astonished. It used to be a space where restaurants kept on changing and FWTT has become a staple in Cherry Creek. I hope the community realizes this hidden gem for what it is. Great food, incredible wine and maybe one of the best patios in the area. Pork dumplings and the duck noodles are my go to with a spritz on the patio.”

When we went the service was excellent, helpful, and friendly. It's not posh inside, but who cares when you have delicious ice cream in front of you. “What a phenomenal experience my husband and I had tonight! First off I should say we have never experienced a dining experience like this before and we were not sure what to expect, but we were blown away from start to finish! As we first walked into the restaurant we were greeted with a huge smile and warm welcoming from the host Lana, who kindly sat us at our table. Immediately as we were sat we were greeted by Adam the bartender with a glass of champagne! I mentioned I was pregnant and couldn’t not drink and he immediately apologized and offered me a sparkling nonalcoholic champagne. My husband also ordered a cocktail and Adam was very thoughtful and made me a mocktail (actually 2 different ones) both were absolutely delicious. After we were settled in that’s where the fun began. The Head chef Michael came to the table and introduced himself and explained the menu along with asking us if we had any dietary restrictions, or didn’t like anything specifically. We ended up going with the Chefs tasting menu to get the full experience. Each course was brought out by the Head chef or a staff member and was explained to us in detail of how he came about the dish itself along with how it was made and the ingredients. From the mini plates to the main course to the mini dessert to the main dessert everything was made with passion and love for food! My husband and myself are both very blown away from this whole experience and very grateful for the way the staff and the entire team worked together to make this an unforgettable experience that will never be forgotten!”

I sat down and asked for an IPA; the bar turned out a menu in front of me and I explained that I had ordered. The food was just right as expected. The Denver Mile High Omelette had crisp bits of pork ham and creamy American cheese. Although I am satisfied with the food I am more satisfied by Domingos friendly smile and attentive service.”

They way they talk about where they sourced the rice to the detail of what type of vinegar it uses on the rice. The fish just melts in your mouth and the sushi rice just falls apart when it hits your mouth.”

It was too loud, I could barely hear the person sitting across from me when talking loudly. Combination of music being too loud so everyone else had to talk louder. Could have been the spot I was sitting in closer to speakers and kitchen.”

I get both plates and sandwiches ($11 for the chicken shawarma Sammy is an amazing deal) several times a week and I can’t get enough. The portions are generous not to mention the complimentary lentil soup is fantastic. The service is always fast and friendly. I just can’t recommend this place enough. Also, our waiter Mia was really friendly. I love Southern food but normally it's a gut bomb. This maintained the character and flavors but incorporated good quality ingredients and wasn't super greasy. Lastly, the music was great.”
