“There are some really good Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants in Denver: Glo, Ginger Pig, Mister Oso... Hop Alley didn't live up to the hype for me. Everything was good, but not great. The service was fine, and I appreciated the food coming out quickly, but the pace felt rushed. The cocktails were weird twists on bar classics, and we've had better Chinese food elsewhere in Denver. Overall, really glad we tried it, but we'll be sticking to our preferred staples in RiNo.”

“This was the best sushi I have ever tasted in my entire life. I have never been to Japan but I can only imagine that it tastes like this. The yellow tail sashimi was AMAZING. It was so buttery and smooth and it tasted so amazing. I can still remember how incredibly it tasted and my mouth is watering thinking about it.”

The staff was fantastic from Alexander Moon (GM) to Billie (bartender with the right amount of sass, playfullness and desire to please). NOW FOR THE FOOD. Well I went back 2x over the 3 days the food was so good, I sat at the bar (a lot of fun since I was by myself) and felt totally welcome and comfortable. THE CEVICHE and BROCOLLI were to die for. I have 4 orders of Ceviche. I love this place and will be back”

Everything is amazing here, the vibe is incredible and very casual for a Michelin restaurant, the food is next level, and the price is so affordable I can see why they are booked out two months at a time! We sat at the bar and honestly was such a great experience watching them make the food and chatting with the servers & bartenders. You mustttttt get the sourdough tortillas. Everything we got including the cocktails were phenomenal and we got the sweet potato for dessert. The portions are way bigger than I expected, so you had to roll me out of there to get home. The sweet potato was even good cold as leftovers, and a nice treat after an amazing meal. The scallop was my favorite thing on the menu *chefs kiss* 100/10 we love! Also- go for HH before 5pm. The prices are incredible.”

Appetizers- chickpea fritter, tomato burrata, and baby carrots. The chickpea fritter had a very smooth consistency like silken tofu. It was so yummy.
Entrees- braised cabbage and trout. The braised cabbage was so delicious.
We also ordered a few drinks. I had make me a gin cocktail and it was just ok. My friends enjoyed their drinks.”

“Best ramen EVER! We stumbled upon Uncle over a decade ago, and since then anytime we’re in CO we come for dinner. The spicy chicken ramen is hands down the best, love all of the bao buns, eggplant is my favorite, but can’t go wrong with crab or pork belly ones either. We’ve never had anything bad, service is always great too! Be sure to make a reservation.”

They dress presentable, they act professional, and they are genuinely attentive to your order. The food is always fresh, warm and flavor is on point. The tortillas are always toasted well on the grill. Their professionalism is refreshing and appreciated.”

“I'm not an expert. I don't know what makes anything the best. I know I like Taco Star off Peoria because the staff is pleasant, the food tastes good, satisfies my hunger and portions are huge. I've had the chorizo burrito and carne asada burrito and chips several times. My wife had the supreme veg burrito each under twelve bucks and always enough for two meals (three in my wife's case - she eats like a bird). Good food at a great price!”

“My review for Taco Los Compas is long overdue. This is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving Mexican food. I order delivery about once a month, and every single time my order is perfect — even when I add special notes or request extras on the side, they nail it without fail. If you look for places to avoid tipping as much as possible like I do, this is one of the SubWays you shouldn't tip on; due to the employees not receiving the tips. You can ask them, and they'll tell you if they, or the corporation will receive the tips. Great food, open nearly 24 hours. Sometimes it'll be closed as they're restocking or something at like 2 am. But, they told me it'd only be for like 30 mins or so.”

“I have quite literally eaten thousands(possibly 10s of thousands as I’m a contractor)of California burritos from Viva Burrito. Don’t judge this place by its outside appearance. I usually (almost always) go through the drive through and it is fast and the food is always hot and delicious. I also love their Adobada (slow cooked pork).”

“I mean, it's Jack in the Box, what more can I say. The food is exactly what you expected to be, no better or less. What sets this location apart is it is one of the few places in the Denver metro area where you can still get drive-thru after 11:00 p.m.”

“This restaurant(s) is so unique and incredibly sophisticated no matter what venue you are looking for this is the place! The atmosphere is awesome due to the incredible décor, large screen, a multitude of different type of seating, large TV’s located all around the bar! The service and restaurant is second to none! The bartenders are so professional and friendly. Believe it or not we were actually asked if we were satisfied with our drinks! We were politely and professionally served our many food and drink selections! When our pizza slices were served, my mouth dropped, because I have never seen slices of pizza so huge! I have not had a slice of pizza that was so good with just the right amount of tasty toppings on mine! We ordered chicken wings, half naked and half buffalo wing sauce. The chicken wings had been fried to perfection and was so good we could not make up our minds which type of chicken wings was the best, so we called it a pleasingly tie!”

“Dined at Uncle during Thursday night. Parking would be difficult to find in the area so plan accordingly. We got seated in the bar area and our orders were taken quickly. We ordered duck ramen and bibimbap. Our duck ramen was very tasty with creamy broth and duck meat. However we were hoping the the bibimbap to be hot but it was served to us cold which we were not expecting. Overall definitely recommend Uncle for Ramen.”

“Variety like I have never seen before! Menu offers so many choices that I had to venture beyond my tried and true favorites. I usually have Palak or Saag Paneer. I tried a different paneer and the honey curry. Chef noted my desire to stay on the mild spice side. The tandoori chicken wings were among the tops of my wings experience. If you are there for happy hour (starts at 3 pm), you must try them! I ordered a large amount of food so I’d have leftovers to take home.”

The food is unfailingly amazing. The blend of modern French with North African and Middle Eastern flavors blow my mind every time because Jon’s execution is so good. We moved from the NYC area to Colorado a few years ago and agree that Bistro Barbes is the only thing we’ve found that matches the quality of our favorites in NYC (including several places with Michelin Stars).”

The managers both stopped by to congratulate us. The food is always delicious. But it's more than that. The staff including Sean Thomas and the managers created such a special night. We follow Sean to any restaurant he works at and add that to the ambiance and delectable offers of the Capital Grille... WOW!!”

“Had a lovely dinner on Sunday. Shanahan's has the most amazing food and worth the slightly higher prices now. We went for their Prime Rib Sunday special meal and asked if we could share one order between the two of us, since all of the portions (salad, entrée, 2 sides & dessert) are very large. I was going to order an appetizer for myself as well. The waiter apologized and told us Shanahan's wouldn't allow him to do that and would not be able to bring me an extra plate. We made do anyway and shared the meal and still took home leftovers as well. We still love Shanahan's and will still go back occasionally, since we eat out at high-end restaurants at least once a week. Just sharing our experience in case others are thinking of sharing meals at this wonderful eatery.”

My only complaint is that the spicy is not very spicy, but this isn't The Big Easy. The atmosphere is a little cramped. It's a little difficult to know who's waiting to order and who's waiting to pick up. But the food is worth a little confusion, and I've found all the patrons to be pretty patient and convivial.”

“I have been going there for over 40 years. It is one of the best family restaurants in the neighborhood. My favorites are the Greek Chicken and Mexican Hamburger wings. The service is very personal; they all know you by name, and hugs are a delight. The owners are the best and treat you like you are part of the family. Every holiday, the decorations are professionally set up making the atmosphere calming and enjoyable to look at. They are big supporters of the Girl Scouts. “Great place to go for dinner with children. They have a indoor play area just outside the restaurant past the kitchen that the kids could play in while we waited for our food. They seemed short staffed (most places are) however the server and manager were attentive and seemed to be happy to be around kids. Everyone was extremely nice!”

We went with our 3 kids (13, 10 and 10), they ordered off the kids menu and loved the fettuccini Alfredo. The service was excellent, and our server, Gillian was on point. I can’t say enough good things about him. We will most definitely be back. I would recommend this place to anyone. This place is really nice and intimate feeling. “*Food truck expanded into restaurant* I love a mom and pops spot where the menu is small, the food is amazing and the owners are there behind the counter chatting it up with the customers. This is exactly that type of place. There is ample parking which is rare on Broadway they actually have a parking lot/car park, they're just South of I25, so easy access. It's cozy, not too expensive, they have indoor/outdoor seating, stylish interior, great restroom.. you just really can't go wrong here. I was actually doing some energy work on the cats at the rescue around the corner and came here due to location, it was the closest thing with almost 5 stars and a decent amount of reviews, and WOW! I had coleslaw which was ridiculously amazing, potato salad which was definitely not your moms potato salad - its was bomb! and a Rockaway sandwich, and honestly if I lived closer I'd eat there on occasion, which is saying something. There are A LOT of "one and done" spots to eat, like - been there done that, this isn't one of them. This is more like, "I know an amazing place to eat" typa spot. No idea how they haven't already been on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, or the cover of Denver Westword - perhaps I'll see them there soon. Thanks for the great sandwich!!
