“We are 2 Texans with a great dane traveling the US to see what this beautiful country has to offer. On a day trip to Durango, we stopped in to try Buckhead’s brisket sandwich and tacos which were so delicious. I especially loved their Carolina Gold sauce that I had to buy some for later. The owner was very kind and accommodating, and allowed us to dine in with our dog. We don’t get to do that often because of her size, which is understandable. We highly recommend Buckhead West BBQ, and will dine in the next time we are in town.“

“Just had lunch at James Ranch a HUGE shout out to Grant!! Being a restaurant owner we're always "watching " employees. Great hire on him very well mannered ( yes ma'am and yes sir) I know personally good employees are hard to find and he's a good one!! The food was outstanding!! Highly recommend this place. We even visited the store and purchased apples, plums & peaches ❤️“

“Had a great lunch at Carver! I ordered the chimichurri salad with the tofu on top and it was excellent. Really fresh, flavorful, and a great portion size. We sat outside which was perfect for the day. The view of Main Street makes it a great spot for people watching.

The raspberry ale was also refreshing! Overall just a really lovely lunch and a great place to sit outside and enjoy the afternoon.“

“Our family all really enjoyed our evening spent here. We were a party of 10. Ages ranging from 5-66. There were plenty of areas for the kids to enjoy, as well as for the adult's. Arrive early to try and enjoy some of the other entertainment. We (as adults)loved panning for gold with the kids. The train (yes, had to pay a small fee) the kiddos loved it. The food was great. We all had the combo plate. Everyone, actually agreed we liked the chicken the best (didn't try the steak). It was my 2nd time there and didn't disappoint. Definitely a great attraction. Show was great! Also, nice to see the performer's and talk with them after the show.“

“Bread is all around incredible!!! Kyra, at the north location, designed and made us the most beautiful wedding cake. It was equally delicious and beautiful. And the team at the downtown location made my aunt in Seattle's dreams come true by cheerily delivering pastries to the salon where I got my hair and makeup done the morning of my wedding while she was a million miles away. They're incredible people and make incredible goodies. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you for making my most special day perfect!!“

“We had to stay in Durango since a bike broke down. We found this place right by the Harley dealership. Wow we had such a great time we came back the second day. Charlie was amazing and her drinks were the bomb. We will definitely come back.

“The soft tacos and quesadillas are absolutely fantastic, and the margaritas are top-notch! They use a homemade lime mix, not an overly sweet premade one, which makes all the difference. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I’m so glad we discovered this place—it’s definitely going to be a regular spot for us!“

“Pet Peeve: when people speak in superlatives (especially as a former English teacher). That being said… my wife and I just shared the Beersalmic Chicken Melt; and it was the BEST sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life. It left me speechless… which is one hell of an accomplishment! The Copper Cabra (Moscow Mule) was also fantastic. Last, but certainly not least… the service was top notch!! 10/10!! You won’t regret it!!!“

“We enjoyed the people but a young woman bartender refused to wait on me or my husband and we don’t know why. She ignored us every time we tried to order, even with no one else waiting, so our son and daughter had to order for us. We also all signed up for karaoke and were never called up after 3 hours, even after we checked and were always told we were next so some weird stuff that made us feel unwelcomed but the patrons were nice“

“First place I went to while visiting Durango and lemme just say how DELICIOUS the food was. good lord. I’m not a big meat person so I was already a bit judge mental but not only did the food convince me but also the service. I’m not sure of his name but he was super friendly and his service went beyond my expectations. I live to visit places that aren’t a huge franchise and this place was the best choice. Wish there was one in Albuquerque!“

“I rolled in looking like a dog's dinner after driving 8 hrs. I'm sure they thought I was a hot mess. I was graciously given a table for one and had an amazing dinner. The green chilie stew was rich and hearty ( I grew up in NM and it's flavors were true to form..smokey green chilie, just the right amount of cumin), spinach salad with grilled chicken added was perfect. It was not drowned in dressing and the chicken was perfectly grilled. The wait staff was attentive. Thank you for welcoming a silver-haired, solo female traveler. Much appreciated.“
